When Catman came to Purrfect Friends, he had a patchy coat and somber demeanor. Turns out, he was just broken-hearted and misunderstood.   Catman lost his home during Covid quarantine, and made himself sick with worry...this guy is a sensitive soul.  He comes off as very human, and doesn't mind listening to your troubles one bit.  He is a great confidant, and can also double as a pillow...once he gets to know you...     Given the power of love, and a stable environment, this little angel has transformed into the sweetest, most protective, loyal cuddle-buddy you will ever meet.  His elegant, thick coat makes him look a little like a cow and a little like a super model.  And he has the most exquisite light green eyes!   Catman has SO much fun playing with his foster siblings, and takes the role of big brother, and protector.  He was also voted most likely to eat everybody else's leftovers!  He loves his special wet food snack, and will talk to you to remind you if you forget!   Catman does not LOVE being picked up and fawned over, but he does jump up onto the table to give his foster mom hugs and kisses.  He is the first one to greet her at the door after work, and is the first one to give her a talking to if she is out past curfew!  He is also the first one into bed, and the first one to crawl on top of his human and curl up into a little ball at night.  He is a big baby that likes to be warm and snuggly.   Catman is super protective of his beloved human, and will be your most faithful companion!  If you are looking for a buddy to hang out with you and watch tv, Catman is your man!  He loves to be within sight of his human...not overly affectionate, but 100% loyal and appreciative!  Can he be your Superhero, or can you be his? Mai Tai is one of a litter of 4 that came to PurrfectFriends. All were then fixed & vetted and Maitai & Stoli are left needing homes. Mai Tai is an odd bird, very particular & thrives on routine. She is not afraid & will freely hang out in the same room as you, & play & come for food but stays just out of reach. She is a shy kitty & has settled into her routine in foster care and enjoys attention and being petted but on her terms. She would need someone willing to continue to give her time to settle in & continue to build trust with her. MaiTai avoids being picked up or held at all costs, lol. She is determined to win & have her way that she be permitted to be who she is. Her thriving on a routine  makes sense because she knows what to expect with routines. Once she trusts you and feels comfortable, she will allow pets, but definitely all on her terms & mostly if you come bearing food or treats for her. At this time she is not the kitty who will come jump into your lap and may never be, but she is still a nice girl. She is very sweet, is just distrustful due to whatever happened to her before she came into rescue. Maitai would probably do best in a home with someone willing to let her be who she is & continue to help her build confidence. Mai Tai is also quite beautiful & exotic looking, so pretty. She likes other kitties & ideally would love a friend to live with. Born likely around March 7, 2021. Black house panther alert! Stoli is one of a litter of 4 that came to PurrfectFriends. All were fixed & fully vetted & there are 2 left needing a home - Stoli & MaiTai. Stoli is very exotic looking, almost like a black Siamese. His coat is magnificent, very handsome. He is on the shy side side but is not afraid. Stoli will rub on your legs, purr when petted & will let you pick him up occasionally & under the right circumstances, but he just seems worried that something bad might happen. He will freely hang out in the same room and will play with toys with you but stays just out of reach. So like most cats - loving him is on his terms. Stoli thrives on routines & once comfortable enjoys being petted some. He is very smart too. Stoli is distrustful of new things & would take awhile to settle in. He's a shy kitty but very sweet & gets along will others great.. We don't know why some lack confidence but we do know that all deserve homes, and to be loved & accepted for who they are. Stoli would probably do best in a more quiet home and with someone willing to continue to help him gain confidence. At this time he is not a kitty that will come & get into your lap but he is still a very nice boy. He's come so far! Stoli loves other kitties so we would love to see him in a home with another but also may really thrive one on one. Born likely around March 7, 2021.
