Story
Meet George! George is a male black and white kitty and approximately 1 year old. George came in from Kentucky as part of a feral cat colony when he ended up struggling with botulism toxicity. Fortunately, we were able to push hard and save his life! Once George gets to know you, he will absolutely love you. And he'll make sure that he gets the attention from you that he knows he deserves. We feel like he will do best in a quiet home and would also do well with other cat loving cats. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.

Story
Meet Ghost, a sweet and gentle 1-year-old kitty who came into foster care when another foster needed help caring for him and his sister. Ghost may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly affectionate and eager for love. Every time I walk into the cat room, he jumps up on my legs, asking for pets and attention. While he’s not a fan of being picked up, he absolutely enjoys curling up next to you on the couch for a cozy cuddle. He can be a bit of a challenge to get into a carrier (we’re working on that!), so a patient adopter or alternative transport method will go a long way. Ghost gets along wonderfully with other cats and kittens. We’re not sure how he feels about dogs, but a calm, respectful pup would likely be a good match. He loves his morning wet food and doesn’t mind sharing with his foster siblings. When he’s not playing, you’ll often find him lounging peacefully on one of the cozy cat beds. Ghost is ready for a calm, loving home where he can feel safe, loved, and spoiled. Could he be the perfect new addition to your family? All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. Story
Daylin has been in foster care for quite some time, quietly waiting for her forever person. She arrived with two outgoing brothers who were adopted quickly—but Daylin is a tender-hearted girl who takes her time learning to trust. Every day, she grows a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more open to love. She’s wonderful with other cats—playful, affectionate, and often seen chasing toys or softly meowing when she’s looking for her foster siblings. Her voice is gentle, her spirit is kind, and her heart is ready for someone who understands the beauty of patience. Daylin would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home with a feline companion and a human who’s willing to let her blossom at her own pace. She’s not fond of small children, but she’s perfect for someone who values quiet companionship and the joy of earning a shy cat’s trust. Daylin may not leap into your lap on day one—but give her your heart, and she’ll give you hers.If you’re ready to meet this gentle girl and offer her the loving home she deserves, please reach out. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
Lulu is just past her “kitten hood” and is about 1 year old (born around 9/24/24). This sweet tabby girl has already mastered the art of loving with her whole heart! She’s happiest when she’s close to her people—curled up in a cozy lap, gently purring, or following you from room to room to make sure you never feel alone. Lulu enjoys batting around her toys and joining in on “group play” with other friendly cats. With her gentle spirit and affectionate nature, she’s truly the purrfect little companion. Story
Hi, I’m Misha! I was found abandoned at a car lot and brought to HART as a young kitten. I’m a one year old tuxedo female with the cutest black dot on my nose. I’m still learning to trust people, but I LOVE other cats, especially bigger ones that I can curl up with, or smaller ones that I can play with. I’ve made a lot of progress with my foster family, but my forever family will need to be patient with me. There are a couple people in my foster family that I trust completely, and I’m happy to let them pet me or pick me up. Sometimes I get scared and run away, but I ALWAYS come back out when I hear my food being poured! I would love to be adopted into a house with other cats/kittens. If you don’t already have one at home I have some younger friends from my foster home that I can recommend!
