Sylvia is a sweet, gentle senior cat, approximately 10–12 years old, who has been part of our family for many years. Over the past year, after adding another dog to our already busy multi-pet household, Sylvia has gradually become more timid, stressed, and isolated. She has also developed some issues with bowel movements outside the litter box, although she continues to urinate normally in the box and sometimes uses it for bowel movements as well. This has been an extremely difficult decision, but I believe Sylvia’s best chance to feel secure and comfortable again may be in a quiet, patient home, ideally without dogs. She will also need veterinary follow-up, including previously recommended dental care. Sylvia is a very sweet cat who deserves a calm home where she can decompress, receive individual attention, and hopefully return to being the comfortable, confident cat she once was.

Senior sweetness with a playful spark! Selene is a sweet senior girl with a playful side and a big appreciation for the good life. She’s curious, independent, and affectionate, and she loves curling up in a lap for some quality cuddle time. She’s also perfectly happy to have some space when she wants it. Don’t let her age fool you! Selene still gets playful bursts and loves chasing her little mouse toy. When she wants affection, she has an especially charming way of asking for it. She’ll reach out with her paw for some face scritches. Selene knows what she wants! She’ll happily ask for attention when she’s in the mood, but she’s also not shy about letting you know when she’s had enough. She’d do best in a quiet home without young children where she can relax, play, and enjoy plenty of one-on-one attention at her own pace. Sweet loving 11 year old Binxy wants to be your companion. Snuggly and chill, he likes to stay nearby loafed up protecting you. He will give little chirps to ask for pets or remind you his bowl is empty but otherwise is not too chatty. He is a picky eater, preferring kibble and shreds over pate. When he gets his kibbles he is often left with a crumb beard that is TOO CUTE. He is eager to give you elevator butt and flops over when he's very happy. Binx came from a home with other animals that bullied him. He’s had a little interaction with my resident cats that has not gone very well. He will need to be your one and only. Even starting his senior years, Binxy boy is not on any medications or special foods. He responds well to a water fountain and shreds as his “wet” food which should help keep his kidneys in good shape. Darwin is a sweet, affectionate “petite gem”, weighing between 7-8 lbs. She loves being pet--often stretching out on a rug, purring loudly--and enjoys sitting on our laps or beside us on our chairs. Though she’s 10 years old, Darwin is still playful, tossing around little toys (tiny stuffed things, scrunched up pipe cleaners, etc), jumping at chipmunks and birds outside the window, and getting out her zoomies around the house. She doesn’t love loud noise (rambunctious kids in the house or noisy cars/fireworks outside), but otherwise she’s easy going and content. She will likely do best in a home as an only pet. Darwin has a history of elevated liver enzymes in her labwork but it seems to be back to normal now! She's completed treatment for this prior condition recently, though we recommend your chosen vet continue monitor her via regular bloodwork, just like with any other senior kitty. Bastet is the affectionate, cuddly, and curious companion you’ve been searching for! She's a perfect little super senior velcro kitty. If you love a chatty kitty with whom you can have intellectual discussions, Bastet is your gal! Named after the Egyptian goddess of protection, pleasure, and good health, she lives up to her name by bringing comfort, charm, and plenty of joy to any home lucky enough to have her. She may be ~12 years old, though don't let her age fool you-- Bastet is an affectionate lap cat who loves attention and playtime, and really REALLY wants to be with her favorite people. She enjoys lap time, nap time, sitting in a window to watch the street drama unfold or to roll around in a sunbeam. This sweet, vocal lady absolutely adores being held. The moment she settles into your arms, she melts into a purring bundle of contentment. Wonderfully expressive, she uses her delicate, endearing meows when it is mealtime or to ask for some attention. Despite her chatty nature, Bastet is a very polite: she mostly saves her commentary for waking hours and only rarely offers input during work calls, making her an ideal work-from-home companion who’s always ready for a midday cuddle break. Bastet loves to be involved in the day-to-day happenings of her home. She’ll happily shadow you as you move from room to room. That said, she’s very much a low-energy queen, preferring lazy days and cozy evenings spent curled up on a warm lap. She takes a couple easy meds for anxiety but does really well on them and taking them.
