Story
Sally & Jack to he adopted together only. Dec 2024 I found a mother and her 2 kittens and took them in. They all are spayed and neutered also microchipped). Fearless Maggie and her children have love one another as any mother would. Honestly, Jack is a cuddle machine like he is obsessed with cuddles. He loves being picked up and snuggled, and so does his mama Maggie. Sally doesn't like to be picked up or Charlotte (read about Charlotte below). Currently they are about 1 year old. Maggie LOVES LOVES windows/screen doors to look outside & Charlotte too! Jack and sally do too! All 3 coexist well with Charlotte. She is my tortoiseshell cat that was given to me in April of 2024 after she was found pregnant on my friends porch. Jack really took to Charlotte, he is a snuggle muffin and loves to cuddle with her. If you are someone who truly loves cats and loves to snuggle and pick them up and consider them your family. You are someone I need to speak with! :)

Story
Charolette is a beauty tortoiseshell cat that was given to me in April of 2024 after she was found pregnant on my friends porch. Char loves window watching and if you have a screen door she will be watching there too! She is great with cats. I have 3 other cats that are related and she coxiest with them but loves the only boy cat (Jack) as they cuddle and play often. She is such a beautiful soul and loves to chat especially in the bathroom. When its the evening and bathe time look to your right or left of you tub and chat will be there watching and chatting! She loves the liquid of wet food doesnt always eat the actual food (fun fact). Char does not like to be pickup. But she does enjoy sitting and laying in the bathtub. If you are someone who truly loves cats, loves to snuggle with them, and consider them your family. You are someone I need to speak with! :)

Story
Nermal is a little gal with a big heart. Don't let her grumpy face fool you, she wants nothing more than for you to come up and give her head pats and belly rubs. Previously TNR'd by an unknown rescue, she was eventually found charming a number of cat lovers in West Philly for food and attention. Her friendliness and comfort with people eventually got her brought into the Paws foster program. Nermal would do best in a single cat home. She's definitely most comfortable with humans and loves meeting new people. Her favorite activities include loafing on her scratching pad, menacing her favorite string toy, and listening to her foster parent play music for her. She also loves gazing out the window and receiving lots of pets. If her silly face doesn't win you over immediately, she'll do so with funny chirpy meow sounds and head bumps when she greets you. Nermal is healthy and waiting for her new home! Age:  ~4 years  Animal ID#: A180612 &#226&#128&#139I am not at the shelter. Story
Totino‘s pizza roll, otherwise known as pizza or Mr. pizza or Mr. T, is the most lovable cat you will ever find in your entire life. He was originally found as a stray, though his finder wasn't able to keep him, so he debuted soon afterward at PAWS, and has been stealing hearts and scritches ever since. Being FeLV+ doesn’t stop this Totino's Pizza Roll from living his best life! You can always find him cuddled up with his favorite blanket or person. He loves exploring and adventuring anywhere he can. His favorite places include his foster mom's bed, (fluffy blankets are key), any soft chair in a central location, and under the dining room table. His hobbies include drinking from the tap, alerting his humans at 5am and pm that it's time for food (he's a very timely boy), running at full speed down the hallway, and bunny-kicking his arch nemesis- a stuffed snowman. His favorite toys include anything stringy or crinkly, and he specifically really loves an admittedly rundown stuffed beaver. Their relationship is fascinating.. Pizza can often be found at all the windows, eyes locked in on whatever squirrell, bird, truck, or human is out there. He sometimes gets a little too curious about street drama, so a home with multiple doors to prevent him from poking his head outside is preferable- because FeLV and Outside don't mix well, you know? Totino also loves to be involved in all his humans' activities and he’s always curious (and maybe a little offended) when they go into rooms without him. He must know what’s going on and what each room looks like in the house, even if he’s not allowed in them.  Pizza loves to cuddle on couches and laps and will always accept scritches and pets. He loves belly rubs and will let you know he wants you to keep scratching him by rubbing the side of his head against your hand. He loves all people and will follow you around. He is looking for a low-stress home, preferably with people home most of the day. Prepare to be loved and appreciated (by being meowed at, head-bonked, and cuddled) so so much by this floof gremlin.  **Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that is specific to cats that weakens a cat’s immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives—but with a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. At PAWS, we believe every pet deserves to live out their life in a loving home for whatever time they have. We hope you'll consider opening your home to this special kitty! For more information feel free to check out the FeLV FAQs we have available on our website!** This pet's adoption fee is waived and is eligible for an Amazon gift card after adoption to use towards supplies! Our staff can let you know more during/after bringing your new pet home! Age: ~6 years Animal ID#: A56272 Location: Foster care. I am currently being cared for in a foster home! Story
A glorious little couch potato, Catalina would be a great companion for someone who is looking for a chatty cat who sits on laps. Catalina may not be the most energetic gal but when the mood strikes she'll enjoy curling up next to or near her favorite people. She loves a nice toasty windowsill on which to perch and watch some street drama, Days of Our Lives-style!  She's the kind of cat who is low-key enough that you'll never really have to worry about her being needy, but who also will delight you when she reveals her cute side by showing off her belly, or when she climbs up to share your bed. You'll have to earn this love, though-- she may take a while to warm up and trust you, dear brand new person, but the wait is worth it! Catalina is a special gal in need of a special home that has a lot of empathy for a little gal who experiences some ouchies, as well as a little sprinkling of cat savviness for the side effects of those ouchies. Catalina has a bad back, literally. She has arthritis, for which she takes Gabapentin in her meals and gets a once-monthly pain support medication called Solensia at the vet's office. These have increased her comfort dramatically, but she's still got a mix of sugar and spice in her. For example, Catalina is not a fan of unfamiliar animals- at this time she'd prefer to your one and only. We imagine she'd also prefer a child-free home due to her sensitive nature and her sensitive back. She'll come over for pets and attention when she wants it, and also readily let you know when she no longer wants it-- she's a great communicator of her needs and boundaries! She can handle being held for short bursts by familiar people, but really isn't a hugger. She does give the cutest little meows, though, and getting likes her pets, and while she isn't much for a lot of playtime, she LOVES gentle brushing and gets really excited about it! Catalina would be a great little gal for someone low-key (maybe a fellow couch potato?) who wouldn't mind a chill work from home buddy to keep them company.  Catalina is excited for her new home so she can spend her time by your side or watching the world through a window!  **Catalina can also be adopted with a 3-month care package! She will go home with a 3-month supply of medication.** Age: ~13 years How I came to PAWS: Owner Surrender Animal ID#: A179251 &#226&#128&#139I am not at the shelter. Story
Our beloved sweet Missee is ready to find her forever home! Missee is a cuddly ~13 years young ~ chunky calico with a social loving demeanor! Missee arrived at PAWS after her owner of 11 years passed away. Her favorite activities include rubbing herself in catnip, window watching, and a cuddle/nap with her people!  Missee takes a daily stress/pain reduction medication and is on her slow & steady weight loss journey! She's been described as a friendly, low-energy, and angelic couch potato! Her goofy adorable energy is palpable and everyone she meets falls in love. She's previously lived with cats before but was bullied in the past, so may prefer a cat-free home. She also knows her name and responds to it! Reach out if your interested in our lovely gal!
