Story
&#226&#128&#139We have such a sweet tooth for Choco Taco! This absolute gentleman is known for his easygoing attitude. He just wants to relax, befriend everyone he meets, and be right near his favorite people. When he wants attention he will gently wave his paw and lay on his tummy for belly rubs. He loves to play with small toys that roll around, and he loves to sit on the windowsill where he can watch the cars and people go by. Choco is a chatty cat, but he tends not to meow, rather communicate through soft chirps! He loves Churus, and a frozen Churu is his favorite cold treat (since he can’t eat real choco tacos). A curious cat, he could likely join a home with a more low-key and social kitty looking for a nap partner. While he hasn't been around kids, we do think he could thrive in a home with children due to his gentle and well-mannered behavior. Choco Taco takes daily medications to manage his asthma and seizures, and while these conditions need to be monitored, they do not affect him very much on a day to day basis. The most important thing is making sure that he gets his medication on a tight schedule, one which he has memorized and will remind you about with gentle chirps around 10 minutes before. Choco Taco is truly a delight in every sense of the word, and he would love to be your new best friend! He will also go home with a fabulous THREE MONTH SUPPLY CARE PACKAGE!   Age: ~5 years old How I came to PAWS: Abandoned at Shelter Animal ID#: A54338 I am in foster care and am not at the shelter. Story
Looking for an adorable shadow? Kira's your girl! She's a quiet and gentle girl who doesn’t ask for much. She prefers lying by your side to lying on your lap, but she shows affection in her own ways. She will head butt your hand when she wants some head and back rubbing. She will give you this soft purr and then lay down on her side to tell you she is content. Treats are her favorite thing and she will happily make biscuits by your side after you give her some.  Kira is a middle aged lovely lady looking for a quiet home to spend the rest of her life. She'd prefer a home without young kids or other pets, but would be ok with another low key cat. All she asks for is a little patience so that she can adjust and blossom in your home at her own pace. If you're looking for a low maintenance, quiet companion, Kira might be the purrfect fit! Kira will go home with a   3 month supply CARE PACKAGE!   Age: 8 years  How I came to PAWS: Owner surrender  Animal ID#: A54577 &#226&#128&#139I am not at the shelter. Story
Meet Patches, a cat with a personality as unique as his goblin ears and bright green eyes. At 5-8 years old, Patches gracefully navigates the complexities of feline life. Originally a stray who joined a neighborhood colony, Patches has transitioned to have a preference for the indoor life. He enjoys the simple pleasures of gazing out the window, surveying the world beyond. He is a connoisseur of head-butts with your hand, can’t resist the allure of wand toys, and he’s a delightful companion in the kitchen especially when mealtime is near. Patches, discerning in his choice of human companions, may initially be reserved and will show off his skill for hide and seek, but earning his trust is an immensely rewarding experience. Once comfortable, he transforms into an affectionate companion. Picture him asking for pets, sharing your bed at night, and expertly weaving between your legs. We suspect that Patches has either IBD or GI lymphoma. His daily routine includes one twice-a-day medication and one medication every other day, an essential act of care for his GI issue which have help tremendously. His current foster has experienced some litter box issues but that could dissipate if he’s the only cat in the house. He would do best in an adult only home with other older feline friends or flying solo. If you’re ready to provide the care and understanding Patches deserves, you will have a lifelong friend in him. Bring this enigmatic companion into your home and discover the many facets of his feline charm! This handsome guy will go home with a 3 MONTH CARE PACKAGE including his medications. Story
Sweet & cuddly companion! Are you looking for a friend to snuggle with on the couch or keep you company while you work from home? If so, Lindo is the cat for you! This laid-back, older gentleman doesn't ask for much - just lots of affection and he will be a happy boy. Lindo is a warm-hearted, sweet cat who will be there for you whenever you need a friend. He just wants to be near his human and cuddle in your lap every chance he gets. Lindo would make a great solo house cat, but he does get along with other cats just fine! He does have a minor heart murmur that causes him to prefer snuggles and resting over playtime and zoomies. As long as his environment is calm and safe, the murmur will not affect his day to day life. Story
Meet Tom, the senior feline looking for a forever home to spend his golden years in comfort. This adorable cat is a devoted companion, delighting in following you around and providing endless company. His simple joys include indulging in delicious meals and snuggling up for peaceful slumbers. Staring out a window listening to the birds chirp and the trees rustle in the wind really amuses him. He also LOVES to wear his bow-tie. He makes a great snuggle buddy and is warm form day one. With a laid-back demeanor and minimal care needs, Tom is low maintenance, though he does require insulin for his diabetes, which is easy to give twice a day. Embrace the love and companionship of this sweet, loving cat friend! Story
Who doesn't love a warm flapjack? This handsome boy will keep you warm all winter long by cuddling up right on your chest or making biscuits on your blanket. Flapjack is a cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to chill with his human. His favorite things are wand toys, treats, loafing, pets (but never the belly!) and of course his human's lap. He likes to gift his owners while they sleep by bringing in his toys and making a pile of them beside the bed, for a surprise when you wake up. His ideal home would include either a relaxed independent cat or a home where he could be the only cat. He enjoys quiet and relaxed spaces to feel most comfortable. Flapjack is a part of our Hospice Program because he is suspected to have a nasal tumor in his nasal cavities/sinuses. The swelling has improved on steroid therapy and he's on medication to help with any pain. He would go home with a one month's supply of these medications. Flapjack is looking for a special family who will diligently monitor and provide care for their quality of life and overall comfort for whatever time they have left. He's ready to be spoiled with all the love you have to offer! Please let us know if you'd like to talk to our adoption team in more detail about him!
