1-year-old Derby is full of kitten energy and spunk! Derby was found as a stray at 3 months old and has spent her life in a shelter environment. Derby loves to play with other cats and toys and she is very food-motivated. We are helping Derby get used to humans as she missed her prime socialization window as a young kitten. Pet me, please, and be with me!  Jack loves to be petted and is about 9-11 years old.  Jack had already been neutered before he came through our doors.  Unfortunately, he is not microchipped, so we are unable to contact his family.   Jack is a super amazing cat.  He is a chronic snuffler, and he takes a saline breathing treatment every day.  I brush him, and if I stop brushing him he reaches his paw out to my face gently and taps me so I don’t stop brushing him.  He also gives headbumps and loves to just lay near you, and he just appreciates your presence and time and is so grateful and sweet. Meet Lasagna, a velvety, young black female cat. She has quite a few favorite past times, such as entertaining humans as she bats around & chases her favorite toy, then carries it around in her mouth, playing with a long ribbon, and posing as a Halloween cat when excited.  She also enjoys purring loudly and meowing softly, such a cute combination! Lasagna also loves sleeping in quiet cozy nooks, chirping at birds outside, eating catnip and food, using her scratching post like a pro, and keeping her humans company while they work. She is not necessarily a cuddly cat, but she is affectionate in her own way, often seeking pets and head scratches!     Her foster would describe her as an easy-to-care-for independent kitty with purrfect litter habits. While cautious at first, this house panther does like people, though perhaps young children might be too much for her. Petite Sweetie! Meet Wednesday, a  all-black lady. Like the Addams family character that she’s named after, she is a bit mysterious but also enchanting. We don’t know a lot about her past, but she is a gentle and sweet cat who loves nothing more than to receive soft pets, be talked to, and play. She particularly enjoys balls of all kinds, especially ones that make noise and the toy where they go around in a circle. Wednesday doesn't mind being picked up for a quick and gentle snuggle with a few head kisses. She is also quite content to approach, rub against your legs, and receive even more pets. This lady loves soft fabrics and settling next to you to as a calm companion. Sometimes she takes a little time to find the most comfortable position, flopping about, which is very funny to watch.  She is good in a single cat household, and also seems to adore other cats, often cuddling with them or rubbing against them as they walk around together. We aren't sure if she's met dogs or children. Wednesday is FIV+, but we have found that FIV+ cats tend to be extra lovey-dovey.  FIV+ cats pose no danger to humans and can live and play with non-FIV+ cats.  She is currently playing with her foster family.
