Story
Buffy and his brother Blondie will be 2 years old this summer! We were gifted them randomly when they were a few weeks old and they have grown up in our college apartment. Buffy is very healthy and home trained (he has never been outside or around other animals, we have their medical records). Buffy is extremely friendly, fun, and cuddly- he is an awesome, low-maintenance cat with a sweet temperament. He is not aggressive, sassy, or destructive and he has been left alone (during day/short trips) We are looking to re-home because we are moving back to our hometowns now that we have graduated school and we are sadly unable to take them with us. I would hope in their new home that Buffy and Blondie would be able to stay together because they have never been apart. With adoption we are able to provide: litter box, food/water bowls, secure cat carrier, nail clippers, hair brush, cat bed, and toys.

Story
These two cats (littermates) were my daughter's, but she subsequently had to relocate when her husband (a Marine) was transferred to a base across the country. My daughter and I have agreed to rehome these cats. I have a busy work schedule and am away from home 2-3 nights most weeks, which makes it difficult to provide the care the cats needs. Both cats are shy to begin with, but once they become comfortable with you they are very sociable and affectionate. They also play together.

Story
Foster notes:Natasha is one of our special needs cats afflicted with mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia, also known as CH or Wobbly Kitten syndrome. She has been returned twice to BAS, due to no fault of her own. In her last home, she started having behavioral issues after her owners purchased a litter robot. Those issues caused her to be bullied by the other cat in the house, which has left her traumatized.Because of her condition, there are certain considerations that her adopter will need to consider, like a special litter box with high sides so she can lean against them if necessary. She should not have access to staircases, however small stairs with carpet to get on the bed or couch she does well with. Her condition is mild, she does well on hardwood floors. No automatic litter boxes or robot vacuums are recommended. She is a sweet and loving cat. She likes nothing better than to cuddle on the couch with her human. Because of her past trauma, she is very picky about the cats she likes and needs to be the only cat in the home. She would also do better with no children or just older children in the home. She does not react to her foster mom`s dog, because the dog does not pay any attention to her at all. All she really wants is an understanding human or humans to love her.If you are interested in learning more about him or scheduling a time to visit, please email his foster mom at: Beyond.Joyces.Foster.Care@gmail.comAlso, you can follow the foster`s FaceBook page: Beyond Joyce`s Foster Care to see photos and videos of this and other kittens/cats in the care of this foster home.

Story
Foster notes, 5/29/23:Kiko is a very beautiful, social, and talkative cat. She likes to follow you around and explore. She hid under the bed for the first day and half which is expected with most kitties. She does very well with our foster kitten and although she seemed nervous around our dogs, she did not run or attack, just sat on a higher surface and watched curiously. I think Kiko would do well in any home! Schedule a visit today @ www.burlingtonnc.gov/visitbas

Story
Foster notes:Mig is a sweet boy who sometimes loves to play, sometimes loves to sleep, and sometimes just wants to sit back and watch what`s happening in the house. He was adopted and returned, and it has since been determined that he is bonded with Henley A149152, another foster in his foster home. Mig and Henely need to be adopted together. He is shy and will take some time to adjust to his new home and people but overall, he has a laid-back personality and just goes with the flow. Mig and Henley need a cat savvy owner who will continue to work on socialization and help them to become the best they can be. They are dog and cat friendly with those that are friendly to them. Mig and Henley would not do well in a home with preschool children. but older school aged children that will give them space when they want it would be fine. If you are interested in learning more about Mig and Henley or scheduling a time to visit, please email their foster mom at: Beyond.Joyces.Foster.Care@gmail.com. Also, you can follow the foster`s FaceBook page: Beyond Joyce`s Foster Care to see photos and videos of this and other kittens/cats in the care of this foster home.

Story
Foster notes:Scrabble is a gorgeous kitten who loves to play with the other cats and kittens as well as humans in her foster home. Feather toys, teaser wands and laser lights? She is all in. She`s very nosy and will follow her foster mom around the house to make sure she`s not doing anything suspicious. She is not a fan of being picked up or petted, but sometimes if she’s chilling out in a cat hammock, cat tree or cat bed, she will tolerate being petted, but only for a minute. She needs a cat savvy owner who will continue to work on socialization and help her to be the best she can be. She would do best in a home with no preteen children. She can be a bit of a bully with dogs and will smack them, without claws if they are annoying her, so any dogs in the home will need to be very cat tolerant. If you are interested in learning more about her or scheduling a time to visit, please email her foster mom. Also, you can follow the foster`s FaceBook page: Beyond Joyce`s Foster Care to see photos and videos of this and other kittens/cats in the care of this foster home.
