Story
Raymond Usher is looking for a new forever home by no fault of his own. His previous owners had a change in living situations and individuals in the household are allergic to cats. Raymond is a curious, quirky and loving young adult cat! He enjoys playing with flirt poles, sitting for yummy treats, climbing cat towers and bird watching out the window! He was raised with an older male cat that he has known since he was a kitten but has not met any other adult cats. He has been an amazing foster brother to many young kittens in his lifetime so far! Raymond was raised with a cat friendly, small dog that respected his space. He would need slow introductions with any cat friendly dog, as he may be wary of larger dogs. If Raymond sounds like a fit for you and your family, please reach out!

Story
I am a very friendly and loving cat. I am equally great with grownups and kids. Extremely cuddly and affectionate. I am 4 years old and was rescued from a shelter along with my sister. I get along with other cats. I am living in a multi-cat home and getting a bit picked on by other cats, so looking for a less chaotic home where I can live in peace. I am a strictly indoor cat. I love taking naps on laps. I will be a great companion for an elderly person or a child. I like sleeping with my humans.

Story
Name: Billy Age: 4 months-ish Gender: Male Location: Durham, NC Hi Human! My name is Billy. My foster mom named me this 'cause i'm silly Billy, I'm also called Little Billy and named after Billy Blanks and if you we're born before 2000's then you've probably heard of him. He's a martial arts boxing instructor. There's this cute thing I do sometimes when I'm playing I like to do little boxing jabs and it was too fitting with my other names so Billy it is! I was rescued along with my brother Bastian in a residential street outside. I had food and water but as a little kitten it was hard to survive all on my own. My eye got infected and I couldn't see in my right eye for awhile but when my foster mom took me in, she gave me eye meds and nursed me back to health. My right eye was saved! Yaaaay. I've been to the vet, neutered, vaccinated, tested and de-wormed. I'm all healthy now and am looking for my forever home. If possible, I'd like to be adopted with my brother Bastian. Were litter mates and like to play together. I'm your typical playful and energetic kitten who likes to play with the string toy, and laser pointer. My foster mom says I have lots of energy. I have a playful bite but I never mean hurt my human/s. I guess for a kitten..maybe I have a short tension span but that's only because everything is still new and exciting to me. I like zoom zooms, running and jumping on things. I can't wait to see what else is out there. There's an adoption fee and reference is required. If you'd like to meet me then reach out to my foster mom Heather at catsonthehorizon@gmail.com. I look forward to meeting you soon!

MC, short for Middle Child, excels as the negotiator of the trio of tabbies. He's kind and considerate with his shyer, smaller brother, Squish, yet engages in enthusiastic play with his other brothers. MC was also the first to embrace being picked up, quickly learning the comforts of being held and cuddled and responding with big purrs. MC would love to be adopted with Squish as they have a fantastic time playing with each other.

Story
Sophistication, grace, cuddles, and the occasional sneak foot attack? That's Honey Bee for you. This charismatic kitten is a pro at taking naps on your lap, purring, and making sure that you feel both cared about and know where your feet are at all times. Best of all, she's been known to have adorable chirping convos with her sister from another mister, the adorable Lady Bug, in which they discuss how much they love you (or at least, that you will feed them soon). When she's not paying attention to sneak-attacking the humans in her life, she also enjoys sneaking up on her sleeping littermate and entertaining you with the ensuing antics. Plus, she has the softest, slinkiest fur--all of this to say that you need Honey Bee and Lady Bug in your life. Without them, your life will surely be more boring, so fill out that application today!

Story
I have had Harry and brother since he was 3 1/2 mos old; he's now 7 1/2 yrs. I adopted them from someone who had taken in a stray cat who then had kittens. Harry was very close to brother. But trouble started when we moved from town house to apartment. We have now moved to a smaller 1-bedroom apartment and Harry has become aggressive toward Will -- a territorial issue? After 6 mos, the problem continues. Harry is healthy; his favorite game is making the bed and pieces of paper and pulling drawstrings on pants. He purrs for attention; he loves sitting in a lap while grooming and petting and snuggling. He loves lying on feet to sleep on bed. I think he will be a wonderful cat in a home with NO OTHER cats. He may be shy at beginning but warms up with regular food and attention.

Story
I got Hendrix when she was about eight months old from my daughter. She was not getting along with my daughter‘s dogs. She’s very sweet, but she can also be very sassy. She seems to get along fine with male cats. She is not getting along with my other female cat currently. She used to I don’t know what happened. They growl and fight. She’s not living her best life as she’s always seems to be on guard. She has started to pee outside the litter box I believe because of the conflict. She has been checked medically, and there are no issues. The vet has cleared her. She likes to sleep with me and she likes being pet and cuddled, but on her own terms.

Story
Emmy was adopted as a kitten from a home caring for many stray cats. She was the adorable runt with big, silent eyes, and a cute squeak; I fell in love right away. Emmy is a very quirky cat. She has a shrill meow. When she’s hungry, she makes a cartoonish teething sound while rubbing her face against a corner. She shows her affection via vibrating and moving, and doesn’t tend to stay still or lie in laps for long. She stares at ceilings for long periods of time randomly. She has no curiosity for the outdoors whatsoever. She does have some normal cat things: the zoomies, exploring boxes, catnip, hiding under beds, being on a tall cat tree, etc. As Embyr’s gotten older, she’s struggled more and more to acclimate to other cats both previously existing in and newer to the home. It’s gotten to the point where we hope to rehome her. We believe she would be a great companion as a single cat.
