Story
Poppy was adopted from the shelter in 2020. She lived in a house with 2 children and another cat. She is a super sweet cat, will lay with you, snuggle, and play. She has lots of personality and will talk to you/meow. Unfortunately she did not adapt well with a second child and became stressed. This stress has led to intermittent cystitis. She will need the occasional antibiotic and steroid to help. She would do best in an adult only single pet household. Up to date on Rabies and FVRCP both 3 years. FeLV and FIV negative.

Story
Rowboat, born approximately 5/4/2021, is a tall, lean, affectionate, purring machine who is learning to adjust from a vulnerable outdoor life to a pampered, safe, indoor one. He is exceptionally handsome with his vibrant orange tabby tail and luscious, mostly white, coat. Rowboat was a neighborhood stray who is as sweet and friendly as he can be once he is given time to warm up to you. As soon as he decides you have friend potential, he instantly turns into this silly, lovey-dovey, cuddle monster who can't seem to get enough attention. He becomes very vocal when he thinks you need to stop whatever you're doing in order to pet his belly and give him chin scritches. He does give gentle love nibbles but mostly because he doesn't want you to stop petting him. He shared an outdoor space with several other common cats so would probably prefer a nice, welcoming, kitty friend or two in his forever home. Adopting from Sheets Pet Clinic cat adoptions is simple! Story
Hedgie, born approximately 3/6/2022, is a miracle kitten with a personality as special as she is adorable. Hedgie was hand raised and bottle fed by a devoted foster mom and discovered a whole new lease on life. Because of her rough start to life, Hedgie was born with some vision problems but has had a very successful resection performed by a renowned surgeon at Animal Eye Care of Cary. Now, she has one big beautiful yellow eye that she can clearly see from for the first time in her first months of life! Despite her shortcomings, Hedgie has blossomed into a darling, charming, Tuxedo teenager with kitten spunk and endless energy but lots of love and affection to give. Hedgie LOVES to spend quality time on a screened-in porch, listening to the sounds of birds chirping and a gentle breeze. She is a delightfully whimsical people-person and often engages in playful activities with her foster humans. She would love to find a forever home where she will have another kitty friend or two to adventure throughout the house with. Adopting from Sheets Pet Clinic cat adoptions is simple! Story
Peter, born approximately 6/30/2016, is an extremely handsome, snowy-white, prince who deserves a lavish life of luxury. Peter is a sweet, chatty, affectionate boy who LOVES to make biscuits! He started hanging out on the porch of one of our fosters a few months ago and he quickly wormed his way into our hearts. Now he's ready to ditch the outside for good and live the life of a spoiled indoor kitty! Peter loves to follow his foster mom around in between naps, rubbing up against her legs and telling her alllll about his day. He goes crazy for catnip and loves to bunny-kick his toys. He's so soft and snuggly, and he's very comfortable being picked up and handled. He does okay with other cats as far as coexisting but doesn't really interact with them-he’d much rather have a human all to himself. He's a VERY people-focused fella. All he wants is to snuggle and make biscuits on his human 24/7.

Story
Kobe, born approximately 8/1/2023, is a sweet, gentle, playful kitten who is still learning to trust. He is shy at first but, given time and gentle coaxing, once he trusts you he is a lovable & adorable little marshmallow that dives headfirst into your hand for pets and love and will serenade & sooth your soul with his soft and steady purrs. Kobe adores other cats and would be happiest in a calm & quiet home with another friendly feline as a playmate and cuddle buddy when his humans are away. His BFF in his foster home is older kitten and fellow gentle, playful, cuddle bug, Tweedle Dee, who is also available for adoption. Although not required, it would be fantastic if they could find a home together!

Story
Tweedle Dee, born approximately 5/24/2023, is a very handsome, purrfectly classic Tuxedo gentleman and is such a sweetie. Tweedle Dee is a versatile little guy - a great mix of playful, cuddly, and curious all blended together in one perfectly fitted furry tuxedo! Tweedle is shy at first, but once he knows his humans, he is an affectionate & polite kitty that isn't demanding and just goes with the flow. He will ask for pets or cuddles by lightly tapping on his human's leg or slowly & gently settling himself into a lap. Tweedle Dee adores other cats, kittens & cat-friendly dogs and has exceptional kitty manners! He would make the perfect playmate for another cat, kitten, or dog, and a gentle friend to an older pet. Tweedle would thrive in a quiet home with another cat or dog (or both) for company! Why the tipped ear? Tweedle Dee was trapped in a colony with other cats that weren't used to human interaction. Since it wasn't determined if he was social at that time, his ear was tipped (routine when spaying/neutering feral cats) in case he wasn't social enough for adoption. But boy, were we in for a surprise with this sweet, quiet, gent, dressed up and dapper in his silky tuxedo!

These pups are in High Point, North Carolina too!

Story
LUCY: Trapped by Chris Ekstedt (1615 York Ave, High Point, NC 27265 (xxx) xxx-xxxx ) behind George’s Pizza in High Point, NC on 2/3/2024. She is a non-aggressive, gentle feral, spayed, tested, vaccinated, very easy to handle and ear tipped. I am 76 years old and cannot keep this cat as I have 2 other special needs cats, cannot get a legacy plan for her and I am not well. I have been helping feed Lucy for 2 years behind George’s Pizza in High Point. When we heard that the site would be destroyed (developed) we (the cooks, myself & bartender) decided to get her out of there since we could no longer feed cats there. She was skittish and would keep about 10 feet away from the cook and I. I put up a camera for a while and saw that she would visit the site several times a day and night to feed over a 2 year period. She seemed very dependent on the site for food and also didn't look quite well. I took her to the vet and he determined she had a URI that is now treated and fully recovered.
