We got Willow for my youngest daughter about a year ago. She is sweet and easy going. Willow is easy to pick up and loves attention. The problem isn't Willow, it's my other two cats. We tried everything, the amount I spent on pheromones, etc. Willow is not the problem just the older two established cats. She is 3 years old was 2 when we got her. . We have original adoption paperwork from Berea Animal Rescue Friends.

Do you have a soft spot for senior cats? If so, seven year old Pigeon may be purrfect for you! She was transferred to ARF at the end of February 2024. She came to us from an overcrowded shelter facility. Since arriving at ARF, she has been spayed and is now ready for someone who will show her all that love and human companionship has to offer. While she is technically a senior, our volunteers would venture to say that age seven is more commensurate with mid-life, rather than twilight years. Regardless, we are firm believers that cats of all ages deserve to know the love of a family. Pigeon enjoys her people but we think she'll do best as the only pet in her home. She's an affectionate girl who will be a great lap cat. If you're looking for a companion cat and your home is ready for love, Pigeon is waiting for you. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. Hi Everyone, my name is Nicolette and I'm new to ARF. Up until recently, I lived with my family in an apartment and everything was good. I loved my family and I thought we'd always be together. I saw them start to pack up things to move, but I wasn't too worried. I was sure that I was coming along too. Unfortunately, I wasn't. I was left behind in the apartment. I'm not sure how long I was there alone, but I was so glad to finally get help and come to this place called ARF. After all I've been through, I can be a bit shy, but with a little patience, I will warm up and be a great companion. I did live with another cat, so they think I could do well in a home with a feline companion. Captain is a kitty with sever Wobblers Syndrome. He does not need special medical attention for this but he's very wobbly. He's a calm, affectionate guy who just wants to lay around a buddy. My animals that I do have bully and attack him. Over the past year he's lost some weight and I'm afraid my other cat may attack him severally when I'm not home. He's great with kids. I have children who Ragdoll him around and he never even growls at them. He's so kind hearted and I'm looking for a loving home for him. ***CAPTAIN UPDATE*** After being in a different environment older children would be preferred.
