Story
Mitz is described as a sweet, docile and relaxed kitty. Although he prefers to relax in his own cozy bed, he is happy for head scritches, especially ear rubs. He is agreeable to being brushed and will make biscuits to show that he is happy. Volunteers describe him as a sweet man who obviously just wants love. Mitz will prefer cuddles but after some time, he is happy to venture off of your lap and look out the window or play with a toy. Mitz is front paw declawed. Mitz has a medical wavier please call the shelter for more details.

Story
🖤PRINCE🖤 Male | 3Y | 5.5 KG | Domestic Short Hair | Neutered | UTD on shots | Crate Trained | Untested with dogs | Not kid tested | Currently taking gabapentin | Fostered in Hamilton This royal cat is looking for his forever home! Prince is a social and playful cat, with lots of energy to spare. And what better way to burn off all that energy than zoomies up and down the stairs? Prince can be quite nervous when meeting people for the first time, but he's so sweet once he's settled. He loves head kisses and being picked up once you've gained his trust. Prince loves catnip toys and watching the traffic go by from his cat tree. As Prince can be reactive in stressful situations, his fosters have used a crate as his safe space. Currently, he will spend nights in his crate and needs it to calm down when overstimulated. During the day, Prince will spend time both in and out of his crate, depending on how he's feeling. He loves lounging at feather toys from his hiding spots and chasing crumpled paper balls. When Prince gets stressed out, in situations with prolonged eye contact or unexpected noises, he can become terrified and try to protect himself. It's important to recognize how Prince is feeling and encourage him to go into his crate before episodes to help him calm down. An ideal day for Prince would be spent lounging by a window and not being bothered by humans unless he chooses to bother you! He would do best with a cat friend around his age with a similar rough play style to run and wrestle with. Prince is looking for a family willing to dedicate time to gain his trust. He is so intelligent and affectionate. Even though he can be anxious, it's very clear that all he truly wants is love and someone to build trust with! 🖤ADOPT HAL🖤 Male | 3Y | 5.5 KG | Tabby | Neutered | UTD on shots | Dog tested | Not kid tested | High energy | Social | Playful | Curious | Loving | Fostered in Waterdown Hal is the type of kitty you'll wish you'd met much sooner! This super-social boy is all about people. He can't get enough attention from his people - and any other person he can get his paws on! Who needs TV when you have Hal? He'll give you all the entertainment you'll need when he drops by for some lap cuddles and scratches before running off to play with his favourite toys - don't worry though, he'll be back before you know it for another cuddle break! Did someone mention toys? Have you ever met a cat who loves playing fetch? You have now! Throw his favourite crinkle toy and Hal will bring it right back for round 2! Hal isn't a big fan of sharing his people. He is confident enough to tell other cats and dogs to back off. He is currently cohabitating with a large dog and two cats; however, Hal would prefer to be the only pet getting your love and attention. Although he hasn't met any human kiddos yet, Hal's the type of kitty who could successfully live and love your children with proper introductions! Hal can't wait to meet the family who he'll get to love and shower with purrs and meows forever!
