Story
Meet Torque, spayed female, domestic short hair, tuxedo, approx 7mths old. Torque and her mom Lexus were taken in by a wonderful person, temporarily, the foster had them around dogs of varying sizes, other cats and they have met children. Torque is a little shy at first but warms up quickly, sweet, gentle, loving cat who would love a home, while her and her mom are still housed together, they don't need to go together, although they wouldn't mind it. My adoption fee is $125 To adopt: 1. Cats are avaible to visit Thursday-Saturday 10am-4:00pm, no appointment needed. ***Please note with construction for our new shelter on the same property, Saturday is usually the best day to visit*** 2. Proof of home ownership must be brought with you, i.e a mortgage statement or property tax or home owners insurance 3. If you are a renter, you must have a letter from your landlord stating you can have a cat, pet policy and or pet agreement are not sufficient. 4. Debit/Credit or cash for adoption 5. Cat Carrier-we currently don't have card board carriers available

Story
We are rehoming our beloved cat, Earl (3 years old), and are specifically looking for an adopter who is knowledgeable about cat behavior or has experience managing anxious cats. We adopted Earl as a very young kitten, which has unfortunately contributed to some of his anxiety and behavioral needs. He is a generally affectionate cat who loves to scratch (he requires plenty of scratchers!) and enjoys nighttime cuddles. Recently, he has started to show an interest in going outdoors. We believe he would adjust well to a home with other cats. Our priority is finding a family that will provide the love and specific understanding he needs to thrive

Story
Maverick is our very special sweet boy who deserves all the love in the world!  He's very laid back and will sit with you for hours watching movies and wants to be near you.   Maverick is a speicial needs boy with severe CH (also known as wobbly cat syndrome).   Here is a link where you can find more info on CH:  https://www.thenoahcenter.org/2022/09/28/the-truth-about-ch-cats/ Maverick is about 4 years old and along with having CH, he is missing several teeth and has a front "snaggle tooth"- but is healthy!     He's neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and has had base line bloodwork upon joining the rescue all of which was completely normal.     He does have  tremors that are common with CH and also a pretty severe head bobble - so drinking water is difficult and he eats wet food and sometimes dry kibble mixed in water in raised bowl.     He was raised by a family who loved him very much but just didn't have the time to continue caring for him.   He uses a litter box but because of his severity and wobbles, he needs help getting in and out and will lay down to do his stuff.    He is on a schedule though and will go in the litter box when you put him in the box on a schedule.    Maverick has lived with big dogs and other cats in his foster home, but he mostly loves just being with his person.   If you have had a CH cat previously, then. you know how much love they provide and what a joy they are to care for.    With Maverick's severity level, he does need someone who has experience with CH and is aware of what they require.  If you are interested in Maverick, please provide a few sentences on why you want to adopt Maverick and how you are prepared for him.   ##2000741##
