Story
Olivia is a very shy girl that may take a little bit of time to open up, but once she does she is a cuddle bug! She enjoys sitting with her people, giving them headbutts and receiving pets. If she isn't getting enough cuddle time she will let you know with the cutest small chirps. A quiet, calm home would be best for her. She has had a few teeth removed and is on a limited food diet. Given her demeanor and the state of her teeth we think she is at least 5 years old if not older. She loves playing with a laser pointer, scratching a scratch pad, and lazing about. She also enjoys getting brushed and playing with little toys she can bat around.

Story
Remus is a very sweet boy who was a neighborhood stray. He got tired of the outdoor life, and has adjusted nicely and enjoys life indoors. He enjoys looking out windows and treats. He is super cat friendly and would do best with another outgoing friendly cat to help him with his confidence and be his buddy. He is fine around dogs with a proper introduction and as long as they give him space. His ideal home would be an adult or older teenage kids, no young kids and with someone who is patient and willing to give him his space while he gets comfortable.Cats: Yes, requiredDogs: DependsKids: Older or adult only

Story
Samosa is a ball of energy. She is a silver tabby with striking markings. She is small, but long and sleek with super short hair and she loves to have her tummy scratched. Her morning greeting usually involves an immediate roll on to her back, and a quiet chirp to ask for pets. She loves just about any toy and will jump for toys on a string. She is an excellent stander and will hold a stand for treats. She cries when she is alone but seems intimidated by older cats. She would be happiest with a human who can be with her at all times. She can live along side other cats, but doesn't seem likely that she will bond with anyone but a human. She will likely be nervous at first but once she is comfortable her fun-loving, adventurous personality will emerge.Cats: maybe if other cat is very easy going/sumbissiveDogs: not likelyKids: Yes

Story
Bear Bear is approximately 6 years old. Came in from the streets, he was abandoned. I don't know if this sweet boy has ever known a day without stress. He is very sweet. He loves a good lap and cat furniture, especially a nice pile of blankets. He will head bundt you and he LOVES food. He is very food-motivated and will do just about anything for a treat or wet food. He is not picky about food. Bear is also extremely vocal when he wants something and changes his pitch depending on how badly he wants it. He is not a big fan of most cat toys but loves shadows on walls and laser toys, anything that gives him that hunting kick most cats enjoy. Bear has FIC and has had urinary tract infections in the past. He requires an extremely clean living area. If it is not clean, he will pee. He does not like his paws or belly touched. If stressed it will trigger the FIC, he also stress eats and because of this will end up throwing up. He does get hairballs; however, he is a long-haired cat. He requires belly shaves because it does get matted due to his being quite curly. He is scared of things moving fast past him and startles easily. The ideal home for him would be an only pet home due to his FIC and stress levels and no young children. He should also be kept indoors unless you have a catio. He would probably enjoy a catio. Story
Hi, I'm Mister! I am a big tomcat who was a stray south of Portland. I arrived injured on the doorstep of a nice person. They nursed my shoulder wound back to health and got me neutered. However it turns out I am positive for FIV so I couldn't live with their other cats. FIV is not a big problem for me; it mostly just means I can't live with other cats who are FIV negative. I'm very nice and like to snuggle up with a person in bed at night. I love to play! I like to sit in your lap while you watch tv. I do sometimes give little love bites so I might not be the best fit for small children.I am prone to get some diarrhea on certain foods so currently I'm on a precription food which has cleared up my digestion issues.I'm in a foster home so if you would like to meet me please fill out an adoption application first at www.animalaidpdx.org to set up a meeting. My estimated birthdate is 3/1/2020.
