Meet Maple – A Shy but Playful Little ExplorerLooking for a gentle companion to grow with? Maple is ready to find her forever home—one where patience, kindness, and playtime are in full supply.Maple is a soft-hearted kitten with a quiet presence and a gentle charm. Though she may be a bit timid at first, this sweet girl has a playful sparkle just waiting to emerge once she feels safe and settled. With patience and love, Maple transforms from a cautious observer into a curious little adventurer. She may take a little while to adjust to new surroundings, but once she begins to trust, you’ll see her batting at toys, sneaking in for snuggles, and chasing sunbeams across the floor. Maple does well with other cats and even dog friends, as long as introductions are slow and respectful—she just needs a moment to find her footing.Maple would thrive in a calm, and understanding home where her boundaries are respected and her confidence can grow at her own pace. In return, you’ll be rewarded with the joy of watching her personality bloom day by day.Maple would do best adopted with her mom, Whisper.

Hi, my name is Jino! My foster mom says I’m the perfect cat. I’m very friendly and love hanging out with the family. I’m affectionate, I give the best face kisses, and I’ll happily purr away while you pet me. I’m excellent with my litter box, and I’m very gentle around toddlers—though I can get a bit more playful with older kids. Most of the time I’m mellow, but I do enjoy short bursts of zoomies and playing with strings or chasing balls. I’m still learning the house rules, so if you prefer I stay off the countertops, just be consistent in teaching me. I’m quiet and sleepy through the night, so we can both enjoy peaceful rest. I can’t wait to meet my forever family!

Dora is a super cute calico who loves to play and ! She is currently on the chunky side, but is working on losing weight. She loves to play with her butterfly toy and to chase a laser pointer. Dora is always ready to jump up in your lap and get her head pet. She gives the cutest little chirrups to let you know that she wants you to keep petting her (can you tell she loves to be pet?). She can often be found curled up under a blanket or near her brother, Boots. She does well with Boots, but will let him know when he is being too affectionate with some playful swats.

House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Willow, 1 year old male, may be shy at first, but with patience and gentle routines, he blossoms into an affectionate, energetic, and silly companion. Once he trusts you, he’ll happily show off his playful side, zoom around with his toys, soak up attention, and eagerly enjoy all his favorite treats (wet food, dry food, tuna—you name it, he’ll gobble it up!). Willow loves window watching, playtime, and his beloved puree treats. He’s sensitive to loud noises, sudden movements, and chaotic environments, so a calm home with cozy safe spaces where he can retreat and reset is essential. He can become overstimulated if frightened, but he has never bitten or scratched—he simply needs understanding people who will let him decompress. He is healthy, vaccinated, and litter box trained. He gets along well with other cats, including seniors, and even tries to play with them—though they don’t always match his youthful energy. Willow’s journey began outdoors, where he survived an injury and was initially TNR’d under the assumption that he was feral. Thanks to a kind neighbor who helped him, it became clear that Willow wasn’t feral at all—just a scared but incredibly friendly boy. We stepped in to foster him, and he has shown us every day what a sweet, loving cat he truly is. Willow is indoor only and his rehoming fee is $100.  He lives in Beaverton with his  This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Tess is a sweet 10-year-old girl looking for a peaceful home to spend her golden years. Her mom is moving soon and sadly can’t take her along, so she’s hoping to find someone—perhaps a homebody or retiree—who would love a calm, devoted companion. Tess prefers to be the only pet in the home. While she may be a little timid at first, once she settles in, she’s wonderfully affectionate and playful. She loves to chase toy mice, enjoys a sprinkle of catnip, and might even surprise you by playing a game of fetch! She’s been an indoor cat her whole life, though she enjoys a bit of supervised outdoor time now and then. A cozy window perch would make her day—perfect for bird- and squirrel-watching. Tess will be up to date on her vaccines, is microchipped, and always uses her litter box when it’s kept clean and all hers. She comes with everything she needs to feel right at home: a litter box, food, treats, slow feeder, food puzzles, favorite toys, scratching post, nail clippers, carrier, window perch, and a few cozy blankets. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle cat who will greet you at the door and keep you company, Tess might be the perfect match for you.  Her rehoming fee is $50 and she lives in Vancouver with her owner.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
