Story
I am a special girl with funny view on the world. My eyes don't work the best but I can still see enough to be a goof ball and a lover. I love to talk, whether its meowing for attention or trilling while looking out the window and running around with other cats. I take a while to get used to new cats but once I get used to them we become best friends. I love to wrestle with and then clean my friends. My best friend is Nikki. I was hand raised since I was about 10 days old so I am great at being handled, as long as you aren't playing with my eyes. I will sometimes flinch when you first touch me if I don't realize you were approaching or I don't recognize your scent. My biggest down fall is I occasionally pee in the wrong spot, I don't know why but the humans seem to think my anxiety is the main cause. When I was younger I went through an period where I couldn't walk very well. The humans found I had Luxating patellas but that was not the overall cause. After many vet visits and tests they figured out I had an infection that was effecting my muscles. They put me on this gross meds and after a few days I had no more pain. I now continue to be a playful girl that just wants to be with people. I love wrestling and grooming other cats as well as playing with kicker toys or stuffed toys. I have been through a lot in my life but I am ready to find a place of my own that will love me the way I am. Kids: Older or adult onlyCats: Friendly and playful yes, slow introduction. I think Nikki would not like being without me so can you please adopt her too.Dogs: They don't seem to bother meSpecial/Medical: Visually impaired, Anxiety, Inappropriate urination, Luxating Patellas, bad depth perception

Story
My name is Nikki. I learned how to behave from my feral mom. I am learning to be more comfortable around people but am still hesitant. I would be what would be considered a roommate cat. I am interested in what people are doing but would prefer not being touched. I do love other cats so I would need a cat in my forever home that would allow me to cuddle with them. I have a buddy here at the rescue named Tinsel, we have been together for so long now that I cry when she is out of my sight. But I will also try and bond with any cat that will let me. I am comfortable around people and let than get within an inch of me, but with treats they can sneak in a pet here and there. Kids: NoCats: Yes, the more the merrier in my opinion. I am now bonded with Tinsel.Dogs: OkayEnvironment: Indoor, Indoor/Outdoor, Barn/Shop

Story
Olivia is a very shy girl that may take a little bit of time to open up, but once she does she is a cuddle bug! She enjoys sitting with her people, giving them headbutts and receiving pets. If she isn't getting enough cuddle time she will let you know with the cutest small chirps. A quiet, calm home would be best for her. She has had a few teeth removed and is on a limited food diet. Given her demeanor and the state of her teeth we think she is at least 5 years old if not older. She loves playing with a laser pointer, scratching a scratch pad, and lazing about. She also enjoys getting brushed and playing with little toys she can bat around.

Story
Remus is a very sweet boy who was a neighborhood stray. He got tired of the outdoor life, and has adjusted nicely and enjoys life indoors. He enjoys looking out windows and treats. He is super cat friendly and would do best with another outgoing friendly cat to help him with his confidence and be his buddy. He is fine around dogs with a proper introduction and as long as they give him space. His ideal home would be an adult or older teenage kids, no young kids and with someone who is patient and willing to give him his space while he gets comfortable.Cats: Yes, requiredDogs: DependsKids: Older or adult only

Story
Xander was born May 9th, 2019 and I have had him since he was weened from his mother. He was the runt of his litter and stole my heart from the moment I saw him. He has always been my wild love bug. He is a fantastic companion with some fun quirks. He LOVES to snuggle and get lots of scratches. He is fantastic with kids & strangers. He is a big fan of knocking things off counters, playing with rubbish and getting into all sorts of hijinx. Ever since my partner and I combined households and brought our cats together there have been problems. Xander is very territorial and likes his space to be his own. He likes to be the king of his own castle and keep his human parents all to himself. He is unable to share a litter box with another cat. It breaks my heart to pass him on but he will be happier in a new home where he gets all the love and attention.

Story
I need to find a new home for my two kitties. Both are neutered, about 5 years old, have received regular annual vet checkups and shots. Raised indoors; although they have never roamed outside, they easily could. The black one (Spooky) is a male; sociable, unafraid of strangers, and likes lots of attention. The white/calico one (Clawdie) is a female, affectionate but shy around strangers. Looking for a loving home to adopt them, preferably as a pair. Will include (1) Litter Robot, (2) water fountain, (3) carrier, (4) supply of cat food, (5) supply of litter, (6) sleeping platforms

Story
Rehoming my senior(11) cat, he is unhappy being in a home with young kids and now we have another baby on the way he would probably be happy and healthier in a slower and less chaotic home. He would need to be in a home with no kids and no dogs, ideally no cats. He is very aggressive towards dogs. He is slightly overweight and this is something we have been working on with him. He is mostly indoors but does like to lay out in the sun in our back yard, does not leave our yard though. Not overly affectionate but does rub against legs and ask for pets as well as sometimes snuggle on the sofa. Would be happy in a calm home with someone looking for an older kitty companion. No medical issues as far as we know. He will come with a cat tree and his food!

Story
Hi, I'm Bleu! I'm a petite older lady looking for a loving home for my golden years. One of my people passed away and I was surrendered when my other person couldn't care for me anymore. I lived with 2 cats and a dog but didn't really love the other animals.I'm very sweet and gentle with people. I like to sit in a lap. I'm quiet and love to be near people. I meow sometimes for attention or if I don't like something. I have such a cute raspy meow.I'm a skinny lady and I have hyperthyroidism. I also was diagnosed with Stage 2/early Stage 3 kidney disease. I get subQ fluids 3 times a week to help keep my kidneys working well. I also take a little bit of heart medicine for a mild heart condition. Despite it all I am very engaging and friendly!I'm in a foster home so if you would like to meet me please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org.My estimated birthdate is 11/1/2013.

Hiii!!! I'm Jazzy! I'm a very active and affectionate kitty! I'm an athlete when it comes to chasing string toys. I do like things my way. I like a good amount of attention and can be vocal wanting attention sometimes. I love my food! I was adopted as a young cat from Animal Aid and returned when I moved in with other cats who did not like me. So I'm trying to adjust to my new life and looking for someone ready to commit to me for the long haul. I really don't like other cats and I wouldn't do well with dogs either.I'm in a foster home so please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org if you would like to meet me!My estimated birthdate is 1/1/2015.

Story
Meeeooow! I'm Smudge! I'm a petite and talkative young lady. I look like an older kitten but I'm actually closer to 3 years old. I came from the county shelter. I'm friendly and playful but sometimes like things on my terms. I am ok being around other cats but I am a bit hissy with them and don't like them in my personal space. I would not do well with very small children. My estimated birthdate is 1/1/2021.
