Story

This handsome tuxedo boy is Hero. Hero is a friendly guy who loves attention. He can be a little shy until he gets to know you, but once he feels comfortable he will gladly accept all the pets you want to give him He is fine with being held but only for short periods of time. Hero is not a lap cat but a sit next you cat. He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home and enjoys playing chase with them. Toys are just as much fun. Catnip toys, foil balls, and wand toys are just a few of his favorites. Hero is about 10 months old ( as of 3/1/ 25), neutered, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. Story

Mochi is a stunningly handsome boy with a sweet personality to match. He's all about getting your attention and loves to spend time with his people. Playtime is something Mochi looks forward to, especially the laser light and wand toys. He is a well rounded kitty who will adjust quickly and thrive in any household. He gets along with the other kitties in his foster home and lived with a dog in his previous home. His foster mom says he is the sweetest boy. Mochi was surrendered last November when he needed emergency surgery to treat a severe urinary blockage. Without surgery, Mochi would have died. We knew he was a special guy and deserved a chance. It took some time for him to recover and work out a diet that will prevent any further urinary issues and we can say now that Mochi is more than ready to meet his new family! While we consider Mochi "special needs" this is only because he needs to have prescription diet for the rest of his life. While Mochi gets along well with other cats and dogs, he will need to have special consideration for feeding to be sure he stays on his diet. Story

Little Forest was found in the Poconos at one of our volunteers cabins. She was with her mom and 3 siblings. While her foster mom was transferring Forest out of the trap into a cage her mom strategically moved her 3 siblings. Despite looking for weeks, her foster mom could not find her mom or the other kittens . Beautiful Forest warmed up quickly to indoor life. She is a bit shy to start but does enjoy being petted and is fine with being held for short periods of time once she trust you. Playtime is her favorite activities. Foil balls, spring toys and catnip mice are a few of her favorites. Forest gets along with the other kitties and enjoys playing with them. She would love to get adopted with a friend from her foster home or have a friendly resident cat to show her the ropes. Story

Barnaby is a very handsome tabby boy. He was found outside by a nice lady who took him in and contacted our rescue for help. He was too sweet to be living outside. Barnaby is a friendly guy who adjusts quickly to new things. He enjoys being petted and tolerates being held. Barnaby is a talker at times to tell you about his day. He is intimidated around the number of cats in his foster home, but will be fine with one or two other friendly cats or as an only cat. Barnaby has tested positive for FIV. This is not Feline Leukemia, which he tested negative for. Because he has a very friendly disposition and is easy to get along with, Barnaby does not have to be an only cat. FIV is transmitted by deep bite wounds from an infected cat and is prevalent among intact male cats who are fighting for territory and mates. FIV has an unfair stigma even within the vet & cat rescue community, but the majority of FIV+ cats live long, healthy lives. We have many current resources on FIV which we'd be happy to refer you to along with many personal experiences with FIV+ cats. We are hopeful that someone will have an open mind (or is already well informed about FIV!) and come to meet Barnaby. He won't let you down! Barnaby is about 1.5 years old( as of 5/15/25), neutered, up to date on vaccinations, negative for Felv but he is positive for FIV. Don't let that scare you though, he can live a normal long life. Story

Tango is a super cute tabby boy who has the best personality. Tango is a very friendly kitty who adjust easily to new people and places. Tango showed up at a lady's house who feeds a few feral cats. She knew pretty quickly that he did not belong outside. No owner or microchip was found so Tango is now looking for a new home. How anyone could give up this sweet boy we will never understand. Tango gets along well with the other kitties in his foster home. He runs to greet his foster mom looking for pets and does not mind being held. Tango has the looks with the personality to match. He will be a great addition for some lucky family. Story

Ollie is a handsome wild child tuxedo! This little dude had a rough start, but is determined to live life to it's fullest. Oliver was found as a 2 week old kitten with an infection from a laceration at his belly button. Our vet thinks his mama may have accidentally injured him when he was born. While we were not able to find his mother, we did find him and he received prompt vet care that saved his life. Despite how fragile he seemed when he was rescued, Ollie has a mighty disposition. He is fearless, determined, strong willed and super affectionate! Ollie LOVES to play and has an enormous amount of energy. He is very curious about his surroundings and quite often his curiosity can lead him into trouble. He believes he has the right to be anywhere and everywhere. His favorite toys are mice, peacock feathers, balls, wand toys and a laser light. He can entertain himself for awhile, but he is definitely all about being around people and other pets. Ollie needs a busy home where he will not feel bored and have people or other pets around most of the day. We will not consider placement for him where he will be an only cat. Ollie would be a great choice for a lonely young cat or kitten looking for a playmate. We also feel he would do fine with a dog and older children. Ollie needs to be kept entertained because when he is bored, he will seek out trouble. He is truly lovable, exceptional and fun but her activity level will not be appreciated by everyone. Ollie is about 4 months old (as of 11/14/25), neutered, up to date with yearly vaccinations, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, wormed and flea treated.
