Story
Alfie is a special needs cat who has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). The cerebellum is responsible for coordination and other things. CH can be mild to severe and he is in the moderate range. He has poor coordination and balance, but can walk. He cannot jump or climb. He uses puppy pads for elimination instead of a litter box and does pretty well with that. He usually only goes potty once a day. He is very sweet and loving. Alfie has had seizures in the past and has medication in case he needs it. He has not had one in quite awhile. Because He cannot jump or climb he is a great candidate for an area that you would not want cats climbing all over. He likes to explore, but should not have the run of the house. He needs to be close to the potty pads if he hasn't pottied already that day. If you are still reading, then maybe you would be interested in learning more about CH kitties. Please do some research online before deciding if he is right for you. He has been in foster care all of his life and deserves a home where he doesn't have to compete for attention. Please email me at scratchcats@gmail.com for any questions.

Story
Alfie and Siri are a bonded pair of special needs cats who have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). The cerebellum is responsible for coordination and other things. CH can be mild to severe and they are in the moderate range. They have poor coordination and balance, but can walk. They cannot jump or climb. They use puppy pads for elimination instead of a litter box and do pretty well with that. They actually only go potty once a day. Alfie can occasionally use a litter box. They are very sweet and loving, especially Siri. Alfie has had seizures in the past and has medication in case he needs it. He has not had one in quite awhile. Because they cannot jump or climb they are great candidates for an area that you would not want cats climbing all over. They do like to explore, but should not have the run of the house. Story
Looking for a sweet companion kitty? Meet Yennefer! She is shy at first but warms up quickly and lights up the place with her friendly personality. She also has a fun quirk where she walks up to you, does a big stretch forward, then rolls into a flop to show you she's ready for pets. Her foster parent can confirm she has the softest fur. She likes long walks down the hallway, boxes, and has never met a toy she didn't like (bells, wand toys, mice, you name it). Yennefer would do well in a quieter home or with another friendly kitty she can play with and someone who will understand she loves pets and attention but not being held. Bonus: She has a shy friend at the shelter, Hera, and helped Hera come out of her shell. If you'd like to add two sweet purr machines to your life who are not destructive but keep each other company and gently play, consider these two girls!
