Story
Fig is a sensitive soul looking for her forever family. Fig came to NAS back in November 2023 as a stray. This sweet girl is not cut out for the busy shelter environment and has thankfully found some great foster homes to temporarily call home. Since being in a foster home, Fig has shown us what kind of kitten antics she can get into now that she has settled in. Fig enjoys peeking out the windows and will sometimes just be a tail peeking out from the curtains. She loves vertical scratchers and playing with toys as well. Fig is very food motivated and loves to be by her peoples` side, following them from room to room. Fig will need a patient family and calm household who will let her warm up at her own pace. Fig is currently in a foster home. She is on a once daily anxiety medication that gets mixed in her food every morning. Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. She does have some chronic runny eyes that just need a little cleaning from time to time and is fed Purina Sensitive Skin and Stomach with some daily supplements for support.Joy and Bella are a bonded pair. Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. Story
Thicket is currently located in a foster home, here are a few words from his foster:`Thicket is a sweet, soft-hearted boy who just needs a little time to settle in before he shows you his true, affectionate self. He can be shy at first with new people and environments, but once he feels safe, he bonds deeply and becomes the most loyal little companion. This handsome guy loves to talk—whether he’s asking for attention, checking in on you, or narrating his day. He’s incredibly gentle, always accepts pets, and has never bitten or scratched. Once he trusts you, Thicket transforms into a leg-rubber, side-snuggler, and constant buddy who will happily curl up next to you or soak up all the affection you’re willing to give.Thicket is great with other cats, and based on his easygoing, sweet nature, his foster mom believes he would do well with respectful kids too.
