Our boy has it all intelligence, looks, presence, openness, personality and overall, happiness! Ziggy is about as good of a representation of the breed that you could fine, classic brindle coat, perfect symmetry, great stride, confidence and open friendly demeanor. We have found Ziggy to have a quiet confidence that lets the other dogs know that he is easy going but that he will not tolerate aggressive behavior. This trait makes for a very calm kennel training environment, all 9 shepherds work at the same time in the training fields, all get along fine, mostly due to Ziggy! Our boy simply adores people of all ages, shapes and sizes, he just wants to be in the middle of things.as stated earlier, Ziggy’s, looks are quite striking, deep chest, powerful legs, positive carry and coat that is off the charts good looking. Our boy is 75 pounds, probably could carry 80 pounds with ease. It is hard to explain the feeling you get being around Ziggy, it is like total peace, he adapts, he understands and he lets you know that being in your presence is something that he highly desires and deeply respects. As you might suspect Ziggy handled our socialization and training programs with confidence and capability. It has been an honor to be the trainer for this boy and as you might expect there were times, I was wondering who was doing the training. All Ziggy will need to happy is a loving household, family time, exercise, personal commitment, the rest he will provide to you.

Story
Meet Sara — Your New Best Friend in a Perfectly Trained, 45-Pound Package of Love At just 20 months old, Miss Sara is already proving to be the kind of once-in-a-lifetime dog everyone hopes for—smart, affectionate, eager to please, and now… beautifully trained. Originally adopted as a puppy, Sara was very loved—but when her owner sadly fell ill and could no longer care for her, everything changed. She returned to us with a heart full of love, but without the manners every young pup needs. We knew this girl had potential, so off she went to a professional 3-week training program… and wow, is she showing off. &#226&#156&#133 Training? She’s nailing it. &#226&#156&#133 People? She adores them. &#226&#156&#133 Dogs? Instant besties. &#226&#156&#133 Kids? She belly-crawls just to be close to them—it’s beyond precious. We believe she’s a Dutch Shepherd mix, weighing in at about 45 pounds, with a gorgeous, sleek coat and a heart that beats for human connection. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—and yes, ready to go! Now, she’s just looking for a home that can match her devotion with love and guidance. Toys are her jam, and she’ll happily entertain herself or join you for a game of fetch. No kitties for this girl, please! Chasing them is just too much fun, and she needs a cat-free home to thrive. Sara is the kind of dog who makes you feel like the most important person in the world. Her loyalty is unmatched, her spirit is bright, and her readiness for her forever home couldn’t be clearer. Interested in giving this beautiful girl her happily-ever-after? Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com today. Let Sara show you what love, intelligence, and a second chance can really look like. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 11, 2025, 9:36 pm

Story
Introducing Chase! 🐾✨ This handsome 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix is the total package — fun, loyal, and full of heart. Chase is the kind of dog who’s up for anything: he loves a good game of fetch, enjoys hiking and running, and would make an incredible adventure buddy. But don’t let his playful side fool you… once the fun is over, he settles right in and is perfectly content to relax and hang out with his people. Chase is extremely sweet, he absolutely adores kids, and does great with submissive dogs. As his natural instincts may lead him to chase, he’s best suited for a home without cats. He has wonderful manners, is housebroken, and is such an easy dog to have around. Chase is neutered, fully vaccinated, and so ready to find his forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will join you on adventures and melt into you for snuggles afterward, Chase is your guy. ❤️🐕 RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

**** Breed Experience or similar breed experience will only be considered***Name: HannahBreed: Dutch Shepherd MixAge: 3 years oldKids: 12+ Cats: NoDogs: NoHold onto your hearts, Hannah is hard not to fall in love with!! This beautiful girl came to MHS as a transfer from a local animal control partner. Hannah is about 3 years old and has an equal amount of boundless energy as she has love to give!Hannah will require a home with Shepherd/Belgian Malinois, or similar breed experience. Hannah is extremely smart and loyal to her people, this girl knows all the basic commands, and then some! Hannah has a ton of energy so will require an active home that will give her a job to do to prevent boredom, and a home preferably with a fenced in yard so she can get all her energy out.Hannah does have a tendency to jump very high when she's excited and wants to say hello, so we are seeking a home with older, breed savvy children. Hannah would prefer a home without any other animals.Hannah is microchipped, UTD on her vaccinations, and is spayed. If you think you can give Hannah her forever home, please fill out an adoption application today!!!https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27

Our girl gets along with other dogs, loves kids and is open and friendly on approach. This young lady is very well trained, handles extremely well and is a great family dog. This guy is 2.5 years old, well built, has great symmetry, poised, beautiful classic black and red medium length coat, laid back, loving and just downright adorable. Our boy has come back strong from a rough situation and to his credit he has chosen to not let his abuse define him. Dexter is now healthy, happy and strong, weighing in at 75 pounds but will probably have a finished weight of around 90 pounds. This guy has it all, extremely bright, a total love sponge, adores kids, loves other dogs, all Dexter wants is a family to love and take care of. What stands out most about Dexter is his openness, his kindness and his total devotion. As the lead trainer for Dexter I was humbled by his mental strength, his openness, his total love and his human desire. This guy has everything that a loving family could ever possibly desire in a companion. Once completely healthy, Dexter, was able to complete our socialization and training programs with ease. During this process our boy was able to show a very high intelligence, strong desire to bond, openness, tremendous mental toughness, a loving nature and maturity. Dexter has no flaws and any family lucky enough to get him will truly be blessed. This boy defines gentleness, love and strength!

Our girl has shown a passion for overcoming the issue of her poor handling in the past, instead of retreating from life our girl has embraced the task moving on and loving life. Ms. Justice gets along with other dogs very well, enjoys the company of humans of all sizes and is basically a love sponge. Justice came to us with two other German shepherds, one of which is her sister, the other is a male Dutch shepherd. The reason for explaining this is to ensure there is no apprehension associated with possibility of a bonded pair issue, these dogs have no issues. This young lady is extremely intelligent, very open to training, strongly desires human bonding, loves playtime and totally relishes her alone time with her person. We put all of our wards through an extensive program of socialization and training; Ms. Justice handled the process with ease. At this point we have seen nothing that would predict a problem with children, to the contrary our girl has shown an openness and maturity that should bode well for any child contact. As the trainer for this girl, I can tell you that if she has any limits, she has made the decision to keep them to herself, she is quite special! The perfect situation for Justice would be a loving family environment that would provide her with the exercise, continued training, personal time and devotion that she so very much craves.
