Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. ALL our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Ranger - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Ranger, a keeper of an area. I'd be honored to be a keeper of your area. I will be proud to keep your area safe from any unwanted critters but if they come bearing treats I'll be the first one in line!! I know, not very rangerish of me but what can I say, those treats are just too tasty to resist. I'm still a pup at around 6 months of age. I love playing with the other foster pups here at the ranch. We have the bestest time chasing each other around when going for our walks, especially down to the river. I do great off leash on these walks always staying close but I do well walking on a leash too. At 30ish lbs I will be at a great medium size, when I get fully growed up, to tag along with you on neighborhood strolls, nature hikes, camping trips or going on river excursions. I could also be a great jogging pawtner! Sweet natured and loving, energetic and playful I've got a bunch of great personality traits to make me an pawsome family member. The only thing I don't have...yet, is YOU!!

Story
Rex is an energetic lovable puppy. He loves his food so he will be a quick train. He’s a very attentive little guy as well! Rex is still a puppy so he does want to teeth and mouth on things, so keeping items picked up off the floor is a must! He gets along with all beings, human and dogs.  Not cat tested. He needs a yard and room to run. He is great in a vehicle, fine in a crate, and still being potty trained, so far so good. May 30, 2023, 2:52 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   VAN HALEN-Girl was transferred to GaDaH from a high kill shelter in Texas on 22nd April 2023. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue  YouTube channel  and  photo albums on our Facebook page  to see a LOT of pictures and videos.      VAN HALEN-Girl is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm/tick tested negative. She is on monthly prevention, microchipped, has an estimated date of birth of 6 November 2022 and at the time of transport weighed 32 pounds. We have no way of knowing what the actual breed is, so it is up to people to look at the pictures and video's to make up their own mind. VAN HALEN-Girl is available for adoption from Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine for an adoption fee of $550.       This adoption fee covers the cost of running a brick and mortar rescue as well as any transport, veterinary, food,   treats, toys costs and the many expenses that rescues endure to keep the pets in their care safe, and happy.     Be sure to read all the information and if interested, go to the rescue website to submit an adoption application. https://www.giveadogahome-rescue.org/forms/form?formid=5838 The rescue buys food in bulk, by the truck load and there are a variety of brands and flavors. None of the food given is less than a 4* food rating. There have not been issues with eating any of the varying foods. It is important that you do your research on the ingredients and speak to your vet or a nutritionist on grain vs grain free! &#226&#128&#139You MUST understand that dogs need time to decompress and adapt to their new environment and home. It is a HUGE transition they make from the kill shelter, being vetted, on transport for 3 days and arriving in Maine where the temperature and such is very different to what they have only known. In rescue there is what is known as the "3 Point Rule" Days 1-3 your dog is stressed, anxious, confused as to where they are now. Weeks 1-3 your dog is adjusting, settling in, learning things. At the 3-month point, your dog understands they are home, and have built up a trusting relationship where they feel loved and secure. If you feel that you have the heart and home to give this precious soul a wonderful life, please go to our website, under the ADOPTION INFO tab, complete, then submit the APPLICATION. Our process takes around 1-2 days, and ensuring your references are aware that we will be calling, could speed up the process. Once you have been approved, we discuss any questions in regards to the dog you are wanting to adopt, then we can schedule your appointment to come to the rescue in Sebec, Maine for meet/greet/adopt Please do NOT submit an application if you are not looking to take home a new best friend within the next few weeks. https://www.giveadogahome-rescue.org/forms/form?formid=5838 ALL Dogs are LOCATED AT THE RESCUE IN SEBEC, MAINE. We post in various states along the east coast and Canada where we have had lots of successful adoptions to enable more exposure for these beautiful saved souls. Families will need to be prepared to travel to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Sebec is located just outside the towns of Dover-Foxcroft and Milo (approx. 8 miles) and approx. 45 miles from Bangor. There are also lots of hotels, motels, pet friendly accommodations and wonderful camp-sites for the more adventurous families and what a great way to get to know your new best friend. Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 4/8/23 Meet sweet, happy, beautiful QT! QT was saved by a Good Samaritan after she was dumped. Unfortunately the kind family who took her in already has a hard to place foster dog who isn’t friendly with female dogs, so QT has to stay in their garage. Not to worry, she’s safe, loved, warm, and comfy, but we want to find her a home! Here’s all the info from her foster mom- This poor girl was dumped off in January at a truck stop and was forced to live in the crawl space of a neighboring business for shelter. Surviving on nothing more than scraps or truck stop food that was thrown her way. She was in fight or flight mode and I was never able to gain her trust. 2 weeks ago we decided to trap her. She is staying in my garage, which is more cozy than a dirt crawl space, but she is in need of a forever home. She wants so badly to come in the house and be a part of the family. I'm assuming she's house trained because she's never had an accident in my garage and she's never torn anything up. In less than 2 weeks we have taught her to sit, shake, lay, fetch and go into her kennel whenever she has asked. She is ultra smart! I believe, at one time, she was definitely someone's family pet. We’ve had her spayed, dewormed, updated on her shots and dewormed. And thank goodness she is heartworm negative! QT is great with kids! I have a 4, 8, and 14yo. She does jump up on you a little when she gets excited. She has met my 2 male dogs and she was great with them. I believe she may be a Mountain cur, Belgian Malinois mix or Dutch Shepherd mix. She weighs around 45 lb. and the vet believes she’s about 3 years old. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Harrisburg, PA 2am Fridays Port Jervis, NJ 5am Fridays Southington, CT 8am Fridays East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $125-$140 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. For more info regarding adopting, email apps.aasr@gmail.com. Thank you for considering one of our rescue babies! June 1, 2023, 10:01 pm
