CLASSIC BLACK AND TAN GOOD WITH PEOPLE GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS NEUTERED CHIPPED FULLY VETTED LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED Our German shepherd rescue is proud to present for adoption a beautiful, black and tan, male, 18-month-old, German shepherd that goes by the name of Lucah. This wonderful guy came to us, abused, malnourished and isolated, to his credit he gave us a chance and has transitioned to the lovable sweetheart that we know today. Our boy is great with adults, children and other dogs, which is amazing since he was crate locked 24-7 for more than a year. Lucah is now a healthy 75 pound pup with a zest for life and a depth that exceeds his age. This guy is all German shepherd even though he does not have the classic black nose, so he can't be a show dog, it happens. Any shortcomings that Lucah may have he more than compensates for with his uncanny ability to life with ease and confidence. It is obvious that we at our rescue are very impressed with the development of Lucah, we learned more about handling hardships from him than he ever learned from us - "the teacher became the student". Our boy completed all of our socialization and training modules successfully, revealing strong character, social affinity, human drive and training desire. Mr. Lucah will bond strongly and be a great family protector. All anyone will have to do to be successful with this dog is open your heart and let him in.

VITALS & BIO LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED FULLY VETTED GREAT WITH KIDS NEUTERED CHIPPED GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS CLASSIC BLACK AND TAN ADOPTED ON 04-12-24 Our German shepherd rescue now has ready for adoption a very handsome, 18-month-old, male that goes by the name of will. This young man has a classic black and tan medium coat, great symmetry and a beautiful gait. Will is quite athletic, curious about everything, very attuned to training, loves everybody, great with other dogs and absolutely lovable! Our socialization and training programs were easily managed by will, showing great desire to train, strong desire to bond, great social skills with both humans and other dogs and a strong but in control protective instinct. Our boy is equally comfortable schmoozing with people or playing hard with both people and other dogs. To say that will is a love sponge is a big understatement, all he wants is your attention and affection! Will should top out at about 85/90 pounds would be my best guess though he has a ways to go. As is with any young German shepherd, the requirement of exercise, love, continued training and patience is essential. I personally believe that our boy will excel in any loving home. VITALS & BIO LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED****SPAYED GREAT WITH PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS CHIPPED DARK BLACK AND TAN SHORT COAT****FULLY VETTED It is with great pleasure that our German shepherd rescue is ready to announce the availability for adoption of the lovely young lady "Coco"! This wonderful lady is 18 months old, dark black and tan, small stature ( 60-70 pounds ), highly athletic, perfect symmetry, great demeanor and of course sweet as the come. Coco came to us along with Ace, both had been terribly mishandled including physical and mental abuse. Watching these pups overcome the past and step strongly into the future is an amazing enrichment for anyone. Our girl Coco is everything a German shepherd should be, loyal, alert, curious, friendly, open and of course a strong but in control protective instinct. This young lady misses nothing, she is always aware of her surroundings reading the situation and reacting appropriately. Between Coco's intellect, situational awareness and social skill there is little that can throw her way that she cannot handle. Though great with people, other dogs and children, one must open their heart and let her in to see her greatness. Coco performed very well in our socialization and training program revealing a strong desire to bond with humans, strong desire to train, great social skills and almost impossible to outthink! It is obvious that i, as her trainer, think very highly of Coco. To see her excel after her hard times is beyond description and is a true blessing. I believe that this young lady will fit in almost in good family situation that can provide her needs of exercise, continued training and unconditional love

BIO LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED CLASSIC MEDIUM LONG COAT GREAT WITH KIDS AND ADULTS FULLY VETTED CHIPPED NEUTERED ADOPTED ON 05-17-24 - Our German shepherd rescue is very pleased to present for adoption, a wonderful representation of the breed, the very special "Prince". This handsome young man came to us through a request for help from a loving family that has fallen on hard times. Prince was well treated in his previous home so he does not carry the baggage of abuse. We have enjoyed working with Prince, he is loving, happy, people oriented, plays well with other dogs and is very laid back. This boy is big (100 lbs.), classic dark med. Coat, great symmetry, perfect gait and is 4 years old. Prince excelled while participating in our socialization and training programs, revealing a strong desire to bond, a very high intellect, great social skills with other dogs, strong desire to please and train, a strong but in control protective instinct and the very definition of an old soul. ‘This guy is a "no brainer", he will fit in with any loving family that will him into their heart. Kids, play, adults, other pets, it does not matter he will fit well!

BIO LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED FULLY VETTED NEUTERED*** CHIPPED GREAT WITH DOGS, CHILDREN AND ADULTS ADOPTED ON 05-31-24 Our German shepherd rescue is proud to present for adoption the lovable and handsome "Amos". This guy is a 2-year-old male with a very striking coat, strong frame, top weight around 80-85 pounds and a true zest for life. Amos, like most of my dogs, had a very rough start but he made the choice to embrace the future. We all get a kick watching Amos in his evolution, full of life, inquisitive, happy go lucky, basically a clown in a dog suit! This boy has a perfect stride, has perfect symmetry, great muscle tone and is poetry in motion. We have found nothing that this guy cannot get along with, loves kids, loves people, and loves other dogs and anything else that will play with him. Overall, Amos is what we call a "Velcro dog", if you are moving, he will be on your heels, he is the definition of love and commitment. As you would expect this boy handled our socialization and training programs with little problem. Our program revealed in Amos a strong desire to please, a strong desire to train, deep commitment, high intelligence and a strong but in control protective instinct. Almost any family that is willing to put in the effort to exercise, train, love and open their heart to Amos will be rewarded with a fabulous new family member.

VITALS & BIO LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED SPAYED GREAT WITH PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS CHIPPED DARK BLACK AND TAN SHORT COAT FULLY VETTED ADOPTED ON 04-13-24: Our German shepherd rescue has just completed rehabilitation and training for a beautiful young (18 months) female that goes by the name of "Lady". This girl is the very definition of why we do rescue work, comes in scared and broken leaves us healthy and well trained. We try extremely hard to provide excellent family members and work twice as hard selecting the perfect fit for both family and our wards. In the case of Lady the process has been a journey of understanding, rehabilitation, detailed training, commitment and pure joy! Our girl never missed a beat while overcoming her past, building her confidence, learning to trust and then throwing herself full speed into becoming the ultimate Velcro love sponge. Lady does very well with other dogs, adult humans and is mesmerized by children. We believe that Lady will ultimately come in at about 75-80 pounds and medium long red and black coat. For body style this pup has a perfect gait and an overall perfect symmetry. We have found Lady to be quite athletic, carrying herself with both poise and dignity. Given the option our girl would rather lay by your side and cuddle, become your constant shadow and show total devotion than anything else. Make no mistake Lady, is without question a true representation of the breed, strong bonding, alert, super intelligent, committed and a strong but under control protective instinct. As you might expect, Lady, performed exceedingly well while completing our socialization and training programs. This young Lady will fit well in any loving household that can provide the time and commitment she so richly deserves.

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions.   Meet Burton, the spirited Border Collie/Shepherd mix ready to charm his way into your heart! At just 10.5 months old and weighing 39lbs, Burton is the epitome of puppy energy and enthusiasm. This playful goofball is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves exploring the great outdoors or engaging in a spirited game of fetch. One of Burton's most endearing qualities is his affectionate nature. He loves nothing more than showering his humans with hugs and snuggles, and watching him roll around and wiggle with joy in the yard is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. While Burton is still mastering obedience commands, his eagerness to learn and please shines through. He's doing well on his potty training, showing promising progress with puppy pads indoors and he is crate trained. And although he may occasionally nibble on things he shouldn't (toes included!), his playful puppy antics are all part of his charm. Burton thrives in the company of other dogs, reveling in lively play sessions and companionship. A home with another energetic canine friend would be ideal for him, providing both playtime and valuable lessons in manners. Although Burton may be a bit shy around strangers, with patience and socialization, he's sure to blossom into a confident and loving companion. His fear of the unknown is understandable when you learn that he has recovered from being shot in the face and neck, with bullets remaining lodged in his body. He's a brave survivor with a zest for life, ready to embark on new adventures with his forever family. If you're prepared to continue Burton's training journey with patience and love, and provide him with a home filled with laughter and play, then he just may be the perfect match for you. So, what are you waiting for? Apply to meet Burton and discover the joy of having a playful pup by your side!    Interested in adopting?
