Meet Moira! A dog with a motherly personality and a smart, athletic side. She enjoys spending time with her people, learning new things, and a good game of fetch. When the toys come out, she’s all business! Moira is proof that old dogs can absolutely learn new tricks. She would love a home that gives her plenty of enrichment, adventures, training, and lots of snuggles. She has done wonderfully with her current canine housemates and would likely enjoy having another dog in her home. She would do best without cats, as they tend to be a little too distracting for her. Moira is still working through some anxiety from her life before rescue, particularly with loud noises and storms. She’ll need a patient person who can help her continue building confidence. Her ideal home will provide clear boundaries, daily enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one time. In return, Moira will happily be your adventure buddy, training partner, and nightly cuddle companion. All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee is $250.
