Story
Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don`t get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what`s expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats and little patience. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I`m learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you`re ready to take on all the fun and companionship then look no further!

Story
Pet Location:Wayside Waifs CampusMy Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in Waifs with Wisdom. This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - Don`t be fooled by my age, I still have a lot of puppy energy!- Loves tennis balls and stuffy toys!- My previous owner said that I am house-trained. - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. My home needs are: - I need a home without other dogs - I prefer having your attention all to myself!- I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter!- Cats are much too interesting to me, so it recommended my home be cat free.- Wayside recommends bringing your children 9 years old and younger out to meet me before adoption to make sure they enjoy my enthusiasm for life! - Recommend no apartments or shared living spaces for me- when I am in busier areas with lots of other dogs around I can be reactive on leash.Check out my super cool new video! Scroll through my photos to watch it. Hi there, I’m Xena!I’m a 6-year-old German Shepherd with a zest for life and a heart full of love. Don’t let my age fool you, I’ve still got plenty of that classic Shepherd energy and goofiness that’ll keep you smiling every day. Whether we’re going for a hike, hitting the trails, or just playing in the yard, I’m always up for an adventure with my favorite people.I’m both housetrained and crate trained, so I’ve got the basics down. What I’m really looking for now is an active home where I can stretch my legs, explore the world, and be included in your daily life. I thrive when I have a job to do, even if that job is simply being your loyal sidekick.I got to go on a field trip. I jumped right in the back seat. I rode in the car beautifully. I loved being able to stick my nose out of the windows. We only walked around Minor Park for about 30 minutes since it was already so warm. I did great. I enjoyed a sausage biscuit and an ice cream pup cup from Sonic. We went for an extended car ride after that. I had so much fun. I can`t wait to go again.I am a bit afraid of other dogs and unsure of the best way to interact with them. My friends at Wayside have been working on teaching me how to be comfortable around other dogs but for now, I`ll need a home without other dogs in it and where I don`t have to worry about going t

Story
Butch is 1.5 years old, he is very sweet, loves to play tug of war and fetch, and he loves to run around the yard. He is a bit timid, but warms up to people quickly. He is needing a good home with people that have space for him to run and play. I have taken him into my care temporarily, his previous owner had posted him online for rehoming due to not having the space or ability to accommodate his high energy. He is not neutered, and he is up to date on vaccines. He has some separation anxiety and is nervous in new places or around new people. He needs an experienced owner or someone that can afford training to help him gain confidence and work on his anxiety. He also needs a home that can provide him room to run, take him for walks, and other mental stimulation/enrichment. He is such a sweetie, but I cannot care for him long term.

She is starting to open up and loves to play bow and run with other dogs. CAT TEST: (Okay with Cats) Judy has met a cat at the shelter and seemed to not have an interest. She would be okay in a home with cats. KID TEST: (Okay with Older Kids) We do not believe that Judy has ever been around kids. Judy seems like she would do best with older kids due to her size and tendancy to jump. HOUSE BROKEN: (Needs Work) Judy does not seem to be completely potty trained. Judy will potty outside when given the opportunity. ENERGY LEVEL: (High) Judy loves being outside more than anything. She loves running around the backyard with toys in her mouth. Judy is still learning how to play fetch but is getting the hang of it! Judy loves to be glued to your side and tends to take to people quickly. LEASH WALKING: (Needs Work) Judy is eager to go on walks and tends to pull out of excitement! Judy would benefit from more leash training. KNOWN COMMANDS: Sit (Yes) Down (No) Stay (No) Shake (No) Drop (No)

Story
Colt is a 6 year old dog. He gets along well with our toddler and baby and our other dogs. He is kennel trained and has a good recall. He is not aggressive but does have a deep bark and will alert when there is someone he does not know. He has never had an accident in the house. Colt is high energy so he stresses out our small older dogs. We were fostering him with the intentions of adopting him after he got to know our dogs but our chihuahua continues to have issues with him after months of trying and different methods used. We are rehoming him of no fault of his own but because we do not have the time or energy to give him the life he deserves with the circumstances.

Story
Ivory is a 4 year old female white German shepherd. She’s potty trained and up to date on vaccines. She stays in her kennel while we’re at work but is out all night with no issues. She loves chewing on her bones/toys and laying with you. We have been fostering her since June but are now looking for a permanent home for her. She is not spayed but we would be willing to contribute $400 to getting her fixed if you adopt her. She was previously in a home with another dog and a young child without issues. We hope we can find a loving home for this sweet girl!
