Story
Hi, my name is Stormie Rain. I am 5 mths old, spayed and current on vaccines. Everyone notices my beautiful brindle coat and loving personality. We are patiently waiting for my DNA results to come back. Yeah right, my foster mom checks her email nonstop. My foster says I'm so cuddly and loving. I love to snuggle and get tummy rubs. I'm learning so much now that I'm at home with other dogs and I love everyone. I love to eat, pet, and play with stuffed toys and other pups until I drop. I'm doing great on my potty training as long as you can take me out often. I know what a potty pad is if absolutely needed.
I am crate trained but I have a time limit of about 6-8 hours and then I will need some together time with either my family or other dogs outside of the crate. I have proven to be well behaved, so my foster mom let’s me sleep wherever I want. I'm smart as a whip and LOVE treats so I'm a quick learner. I walk good on a leash, and working on all those verbal commands every dog should know. I'll be the best addition to your family ever and your best bud.
Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Since they are rescue dogs we guess breed of looks.
Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our adoption fee covers dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped as well as spay/neuter at our preapproved vets. All puppies not altered due to age will under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon completion of surgery.
We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable.
Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE HAVE NO BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION-- WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE, ALL DOGS ARE IN PRIVATE FOSTER HOMES.
If we if we think your home might be a good fit, we will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application. We do check references, use social media, been verified, do phone interview/emails, and home check will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.
