🎾 Meet Bucky! 🎾Goofy • Loving • Ball-Chasing Best FriendHey, it’s me—Bucky! Can we all agree that I’m absolutely adorable? I think so! I’ve never met a stranger, and I love playing with other dogs. People might think I look or sound a little tough, but trust me—all I want is love, belly rubs, and a ball to chase.👉 ADOPT ME! I’m patiently waiting to meet my forever family. Could that be you? I’m currently staying with my loving foster family, but I can’t wait to find the humans I’ll call my own. Here’s what you should know about me:✔️ Super friendly—I love everyone!✔️ Basic training? Check!✔️ Healthy and full of energy!✔️ Obsessed with balls and backyard adventures!✔️ Excellent car ride buddy, especially if there’s a pup cup at the end.I’m known for my goofy personality and my habit of chatting it up with everyone I meet. People always leave saying I’m their new best friend! (P.S. I’d love to meet the lawn guy, but his loud machines sound way too much like my arch-nemesis: the vacuum cleaner. Yikes!)When I’m not protecting my yard from big flying birds (someone’s gotta do it!), you’ll find me ready for our next road trip, play session, or cuddle.I’m so ready for a family to love and a backyard to call my own. Will you be my forever? Come meet me— I’ll bring the ball!

Hi, I'm Stryper! I'm a playful tiger-striped boy looking for my forever home. You see, one day I came to the shelter as a homeless pup picked up by animal control. I was shy and timid and didn't trust anyone. But my people here at the shelter have taken such good care of me and shown me what love is and now I've blossomed into the silliest goofball! I am a tug-o-war champ and I absolutely love a good rope toy - I will even toss it around the yard and play by myself! If you're looking for a fun-loving furry companion, I'm your guy! Could yours be the home I've been looking for?

Hi I'm Savvy!! A super smart and loyal friend looking for an active human to hike, jog, and camp with. I love lounging equally and won't judge if we just do a lazy day Sunday as well. Heck, I'll even wear your favorite team's jersey! Just don't forget the chips and snacks because I enjoy those too! Other dogs are fine and just give me a minute to get to know them; after that, it's all fun!

Story
Playful, fun loving, and energetic dog! Birthday: May 28th 2018, doing on 5 years old Weight: approximately 80 lbs, full grown Coloring: Black, with tan and white spots Knows all basic commands Dexter would fit well into any family, preferably with more calm/older kids. Not aggressive towards people, not protective of food either. Great with other dogs and no experience with cats. He is also an oversized lapdog in his mind, he loves to cuddle, is very obedient and smart. He’s really been such a good dog in our family and we’re sad to see him go but he deserves a family that has the time to really spend with him.

Story
Hi, I'm Ringo! Age: Approx. 1 year 2 months Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 48 lbs Breed: German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever Mix Favorites: Toys, treats Energy level: High Training: Appears potty trained, does well in crate Other important info about me: I came to the shelter as an animal cruelty case back in September; you may have seen my brother (Dingo) and I on Facebook! Our owner decided to abandon us on the road, but the nice Animal Services Officer made sure we were safe. I’ve been at the shelter a very long time now and would really like to finally go home with my forever family! I’m playful and energetic, and would do well in a home where I can get lots of attention and exercise. I get along great with other dogs, and would love to have a canine playmate. I am friendly with people of all ages; I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

Story
Haven is a Longhaired German Shepherd that we have had since she was a puppy and is 4.5 years old. She weighs about 64 pounds. She was originally purchased for my daughter who is now married and unable to care for the dog (military). The dog has been an outside dog most of her life but is house broken and will not defecate in your house. However, she prefers to be outside as long as its not too hot, which in Texas its always hot. She is good with children and has never bit anyone. She is missing one eye from being hit by a car about a year ago, but has adapted to living without it. Haven is spayed and has all of her shots, and is wormed regularly. Haven likes to sleep and to run when she has the space to do so. She has never ran away from the house, even when left alone to do so. She is a calm dog, but is also a German Shepherd and barks at people who show up to the house unexpectantly (deliveries). This is will make a great family dog/protector of the home.
