Beautiful Lucy, a gentle, loving girl who is great with children, enjoys car rides and walks in the neighborhood where she is on squirrel patrol! She especially enjoys going with her mom to dog-friendly café’s with outdoor seating where she gets to soak up the wait-staff’s attention and perhaps have a pup cup. She loves playing tug-of-war in the backyard with any dog toy, and she occasionally goes to the dog park and doggy day care. Lucy is looking for a new home now that her mom has downsized to an apartment and no longer has a backyard for Lucy to run around in. She was rescued from the street -- a car wash to be exact -- when she was just a youngster and has lived with a small dog ever since. Lucy’s ideal home would be with a family who would include her in family outings such as trips to the kid’s baseball games or walks along the bayou walking trails. At the end of a busy day, she loves nothing more than relaxing and some quiet downtime with her people. She would enjoy living with another easygoing, calm, small/medium-sized dog friend. Pancake was brought in as a stray into a high kill shelter from where she was rescued by her foster mom, who can't praise her enough. She goes to shopping with her foster mom, and is very well behaved in public. She walks well on leash, as if she is been trained before. Pancake is going to make a fantastic companion to anyone who loves dogs. She is 10 months old, 35 lb, and super sweet girl. She is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped and kept on preventions.
