Story
Liberty is a gentle, sweet girl who’s a little shy with new people but is learning that humans are safe and kind. She melts for reassuring pets and seems to get along with everyone she meets. We’re still getting to know her, but so far she’s been nothing but loving, knows her basic commands, and walks politely on leash. Liberty is ready for a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom.

Story
Kiki is a playful, gentle loving dog who doesn't bark overly much and does not whine when she is left by herself. She is 8 months old and puppy pad trained. She can sit, shake, and lay down or up down with verbal and hand commands. She is an indoor independent dog. She loves apples mandarin oranges and green grapes and assorted veggies too! She doesn't like bananas. She is a native and current resident of Houston and is a beautiful brindle Dutch shepherd mix. She loves to take showers with me. She's good with other puppies and has a cat friend. Please consider her for your next new pet!!! She is also good on travel too. She also likes to sleep next to her human. She absolutely loves it when someone says her name really really fast. And lastly I would want to say I call her the "big goof" and she likes it or seems too.

Story
I was left in front of an abandoned store to fend for myself. My luck changed, however, when some kind humans got me to safety. I am a young and active guy. I would love a doggie friend or even a jogger to take me out. I do know a few commands, am in excellent health, and can't wait to find my forever family. I have not met cats yet.

Hi I'm Savvy!! A super smart and loyal friend looking for an active human to hike, jog, and camp with. I love lounging equally and won't judge if we just do a lazy day Sunday as well. Heck, I'll even wear your favorite team's jersey! Just don't forget the chips and snacks because I enjoy those too! Other dogs are fine and just give me a minute to get to know them; after that, it's all fun!

🐶 Meet Tucker Say hello to Tucker—a truly gentle soul with the sweetest eyes. This handsome boy came to the shelter as a stray, but it’s clear he’s had a home before. Tucker is well-behaved, polite, and calm, the kind of dog who quietly observes the world around him. The noise and chaos of the shelter can be overwhelming for Tucker, and he finds comfort curling up in a quiet space—often snoozing peacefully with his paws crossed on a big pillow in the office. While he may be shy at first, Tucker is doing his very best to be brave. Dogs like Tucker are special. They may need extra time, patience, and gentle reassurance to build confidence, but in return they offer deep loyalty and an incredible bond with their people. Tucker is quiet, sensitive, and affectionate once he feels safe. You can see in his eyes that he wants to trust—he just needs the right environment to help him blossom. 🏡 Ideal Home Tucker would thrive in a calm, low-traffic household with a family who understands shy dogs and is willing to let him settle in at his own pace. A peaceful home and devoted humans will help Tucker grow into the confident, loving companion he’s meant to be. 💙 Are you the one Tucker has been waiting for? Come meet him and see if your heart is the safe place he’s been searching for. ❓ Questions? 📧 Email: info@lifelinetx.org 🏡 Local Adoptions Are Welcome! Story
4 yo Belgian malinois mix Maddox and her 2 year old malinois sister Mel lost their parents, their homes, and siblings to divorce and overnight, her world collapsed. Maddox is a super sweet, almost perfect pup. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. She lives with dogs, a kitty, and two small children, and gets along with everyone. She does love to play fetch, but mostly she is very quiet for her breed, and prefers chilling with her foster family, than play with her doggie foster siblings. Maddox tends to be a bit more reserved and enjoys her own quiet space. Maddox is housebroken, crate trained and very affectionate and better suited as a companion than a high-drive working dog. Maddox weighs 60 lb and is fully vaccinated, spayed, chipped, heartworm negative and kept on proheart 12. She loves to sunbathe, and snuggle. The sudden change in their situation has been very stressful to Maddox, so we would definitely like to find her a home where she gets lot of love, and affection. Maddox is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet our gorgeous pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Story
7 yo Belgian malinois girl Valentina is a super sweet, almost perfect pup. She lives with dogs, and four kitties and gets along with everyone. She is so sweet, she gives paw when she meets someone for the first time. Someone took their time to train this girl and we do not know how she ended up in a high kill shelter from where she was rescued. Valentina enjoys her own quiet space and loves to be velcro with her foster parents. Valentina is housebroken, crate trained and very affectionate and better suited as a companion than a high-drive working dog. Valentina weighs 56 lb and is fully vaccinated, chipped, and kept on heartworm and flea prevention. She loves to sunbathe, and snuggle. Valentina is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet our gorgeous pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Valentina's' adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, and Harness. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Story
Mia is a 6-month-old Belgian Malinois puppy who is as sweet and smart as they come. She has a gentle, loving nature and truly adores people. Mia is friendly with everyone she meets, wonderful with children, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. She is curious about cats (as many puppies are!) and would do well with proper training and guidance around them. Mia is very smart and eager to learn, making her a joy to train. She’s affectionate, loyal, and ready to bond deeply with her forever family. Whether she’s playing, learning something new, or cuddling with her humans, Mia’s loving personality shines through. Mia used to be a lonely puppy in an apartment (see video), entertaining herself while her former parent was gone for work 12 hours a day. Fortunately, her former parent knew a rescue vet who coaxed him to surrender her to our rescue so that she could have a proper life and find home where she can thrive. Therefore, Mia is looking for the perfect home, in Texas or anywhere in the States and even in Canada. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. She is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and kept on heartworm and flea prevention. Mia currently weighs about 40 lbs and is still growing into her paws and her big heart. Mia is ready for her forever home — a family who will love her, guide her, and give her the life she deserves. If you’re looking for a smart, gentle, and devoted companion, Mia may be the perfect match for you. 🐕💛 To meet this amazing pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Mia's adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Transport Fee to several states in the United States.
