From Scooby's Foster Angie, this is what you can expect from life with Scooby. "I am a first-time foster and Scooby has been a very good boy! He is staying for a long weekend and we are on day 3 already. First thing that I noticed about Scooby is that he is a sweetheart and so curious about everything. We have been taking two walks a day which seems to keep him satisfied. He is learning new sounds from cars, trucks, and motor bikes in my neighborhood,, so I worked out some tricks to keep him calm when they are close. He wants to say hi to all the dogs, but he is still learning and needs to build his confidence in this area - a very quick learner though! Scooby loves to smell and investigate everything. He also knows to check in with me when he gets excited, which is progress. I work from home, so his first day he chilled with me all day. No whining of any kind. He just wanted the occasional scratch. Bonus: He is crate trained and goes to bed like a prince! I've shared a lot of photos so you can see how sweet of a boy he is. He cuddles, likes play time, and chills on the back patio like a dream."

Leggs is a resilient 32 pound, 1 year old pup working hard to become part of the world around him. While he’s naturally timid because he was feral the first three months of his life, he’s been bravely approaching new challenges and turned into the most amazing dog at home. Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. His perfect home would be one that understands his initial need to decompress. After that, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion. He is not a fan of cats so no kitties please. Leggs is being fostered in Texas but can be transported out of state. Meet Bella - a sweet, smart girl looking for her forever home. She's affectionate, playful, and a fast learner. She has a lot of puppy energy - she loves being outside, chasing a ball, and running the dog park - but is just as happy curling up for a cuddle. She's great with kids and dogs - living happily with our 2-year-old son and 12-year-old Vizsla. She's fully house-trained with zero accidents, and like most young dogs, would benefit from some basic obedience training - something we think she'll pick up fast.We found Bella wandering alone near a 7-Eleven in North Austin with no owner around. She came right to us after a friendly greeting, and despite posting everywhere we could think of, no one came forward. She's since been vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Believed to be a Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, 8-9 months old and 50 lbs.We can't keep her for personal reasons unrelated to Bella - she deserves a family who can give her the time and space to thrive.

I would keep this beautiful, loving boy if I knew he would get along with my senior dog. He has shown too many signs of aggression towards other animals on our walks for me to chance it. He has never bitten but he lunges and barks. Behaviorst say it may be excitement but I do not feel comfortable enough to take the chance and find out. This was a found animal. I found the owners. They do not care about him. He deserves the very best and if I was not leaving for work for the next 20 days I would keep him longer. This is a sad decision for me. I leave tomorrow and really really need help. I have had him aver a month and spent so much energy on this I am a bit spent. Please help

Nene and Macho, her brother are being posted as pair. Nene. 63lbs, born January 2025, is a Malinois/Pyrenees mix. She is content to snuggle. She loves to run, and I can't provide the space she needs. They need a large enough fenced in yard that she can sprint. Nene is a livestock guarding breed, so she barks at the doorbell, people knocking, people talking outside of the house. If you cannot tolerate barking or don't have patience to redirect her, then she is not for you. Nene needs a family, she needs people home. If you need to leave her home for 8hrs/day, she's not for you. No kennel families will be considered. She roams the house freely without touching anything and she's potty trained. Putting her in a kennel while you're gone is like having a Ring camera and never turning it on. She's excellent as a house dog, package thief deterrent. They're comfortable with me, and I'm in no rush to adopt her. Home visit and interview required before transfer of ownership.
