Story
From Scooby's Foster Angie, this is what you can expect from life with Scooby. "I am a first-time foster and Scooby has been a very good boy! He is staying for a long weekend and we are on day 3 already. First thing that I noticed about Scooby is that he is a sweetheart and so curious about everything. We have been taking two walks a day which seems to keep him satisfied. He is learning new sounds from cars, trucks, and motor bikes in my neighborhood,, so I worked out some tricks to keep him calm when they are close. He wants to say hi to all the dogs, but he is still learning and needs to build his confidence in this area - a very quick learner though! Scooby loves to smell and investigate everything. He also knows to check in with me when he gets excited, which is progress. I work from home, so his first day he chilled with me all day. No whining of any kind. He just wanted the occasional scratch. Bonus: He is crate trained and goes to bed like a prince! I've shared a lot of photos so you can see how sweet of a boy he is. He cuddles, likes play time, and chills on the back patio like a dream."

Story
Leggs is a resilient 32 pound, 1 year old pup working hard to become part of the world around him. While he’s naturally timid because he was feral the first three months of his life, he’s been bravely approaching new challenges and turned into the most amazing dog at home. Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. His perfect home would be one that understands his initial need to decompress. After that, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion. He is not a fan of cats so no kitties please. Leggs is being fostered in Texas but can be transported out of state. Story
Moet is a 4-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix with a thoughtful, observant nature and a heart that’s still learning to trust the world. At 64 pounds, she does well with other dogs and may feel most comfortable alongside a confident canine companion to help guide her. Moet is still building confidence with leash walking, and it’s unclear whether this is due to shelter stress or limited prior experience. Because of this, she may do best in a calm, quiet home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely decompress and enjoy outdoor time without pressure. With patience, consistency, and a gentle approach, Moet has the potential to blossom into a deeply loyal companion—she just needs a little time to find her footing.

Story
Meet Opie! Check out what her foster mom has to say! "Opie (aka Sarah) is wonderful with people and other dogs. She loves attention and being petted. Loud noises and crowds don't bother her at all. She behaves beautifully at coffee shops and festivals, making her a joy to take out in public. She is incredibly gentle, sweet, and affectionate. She does an excellent job keeping all four paws on the ground when greeting people. I could easily see her excelling as a therapy or service dog, especially visiting patients in hospitals. She has such a calm, kind temperament, especially for such a young puppy. While she still needs supervision, she behaves very well in the house. If she starts investigating something she shouldn't, a simple "no" is enough for her to stop immediately. Opie is remarkably calm for a puppy. She enjoys short games of tug-of-war and playing with other dogs, but she seems just as happy lying at your feet. She walks beautifully on a leash, doesn't pull or chew on it, and stays right by your side. She has recently learned to sit and lie down on command and is doing very well. She also comes when called. She is quiet in the home and rarely barks outside, even though we live in an area with plenty of wildlife. She settles and sleeps well in her crate. Since she is still a puppy, she occasionally wakes during the night to go outside to potty. She is currently on a three-hour potty schedule and is still learning to alert at the door when she needs to go out. She has not had any accidents in her crate."
