Jack is a male Shepherd mix, about 4 yrs old (est DOB 7/23/2021). He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. JACK needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. With his stunning brindle coat and soulful eyes, Juno may look a little intimidating at first glance ~ but he’s truly a sweet, loving, and loyal boy once you get to know him! Juno bonds deeply with his people and loves being out and about with his handler. He would make an excellent adventure companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. He’s affectionate, eager to be close to his person, and may even jump up for an enthusiastic “hug” when he’s excited to see you. Once Juno chooses his person, he’s all in. He’s a smart, eager-to-please dog who thrives with structure and consistency. Juno already knows sit, down, and his adorable “happy spin” at mealtime, and he would do great in a home that wants to continue working on training while providing both mental and physical outlets. Juno walks well on leash and enjoys getting out for walks and exploring. She was found in the middle of nowhere, in the bones, and with too much fear, she tried to bite us until she could understand that we were not going to hurt her, we just wanted to help her, and she got on her belly, letting me know that she trusted me. She is a really sweet, intelligent, loving dog, she has too much love to give, and she needs to receive even more. She is a very loyal dog, and tends to dance with her front paws when she gets excited. She gets excited when she goes for a walk, she likes to see new places and sometimes she is a little shy at first with strangers but she understands quickly when people don't want to hurt her. On the contrary when she knows that people are a threat to her or to you, she is very protective. She gets along well with very few male dogs, she is dominant and does not usually play with other dogs, but she gets along very well with adults and children, she would be ideal for a family with small children, she knows how to measure her strength, and she is not at all rude with babies.
