APPLICATION or INQUIRY...Please email or text me for the e-mail version of our application/inquiry. Currently our application is not working... Terry 210-394-6060..or petcentralsatx@gmail.com. Include dog's name in the inquiry. Jack is a male Shepherd mix, about 4 yrs old (est DOB 7/23/2021). He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. JACK needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day. He deserves a second chance…he needs someone who believes in him! Check our You Tube Video: https://youtu.be/zawD9-77Oxs This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Bronx is a sweet and lovable dog. He is 2 years old. We adopted him but our male labrador does not do well with him so we are trying to find Bronx a new, loving home. He is a chill dog who loves to run and play tug-of-war. He does really well on walks and at the dog park. He is great around other dogs at the dog park but doesn't do well with another alpha male at home. He is good with our 10 year old child and he is friendly with people. We love him but we know it is for the best to find him a loving home that is better suited for him. We just want to find someone who will give him a great life. He is a wonderful and calm companion who also likes to hike/walk and play.

Story
Hi! My name is Quinn and I am available for adoption!I am a friendly, energetic young man looking for an active family. I love playing with stuffies and will roll over and entertain myself with them. My caregivers say it is pretty cute. :) I love to have an `emotional support stuffie` to chew on hand. It helps me keep my mind busy and chewing helps me calm down.I am very eager to please and walk nicely on leash.I am affectionate and like to lean in for pets. I can, however, be a typical aloof shepherd when first meeting. I can spook easily when meeting new people, so please take things slow when getting to know me and introduce me to the world.I am a member of RASKC`s playgroup pals! Ask staff if you would like to know how I interact with other dogs! When meeting new dogs in a home it is always best practice to do introductions slowly.I am a large breed dog and I weigh about 76 lbs.You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I would love to go home with you!

Story
She is very energetic, adventurous, and absolutely loves going places with me, I’ve brought her almost everywhere with me and she does good out and about. She is very food motivated and learns quickly with treats. She is crate trained and knows Sit, Lay down, Paw / other paw, Spin, Wait and Okay release command with food. We’ve been working on heel and leash manners, still a work in progress, but she’s improving. She is mostly potty trained, with occasional accidents. She would do best with someone who is active and has the time and energy to continue her training and give her the structure she needs. She has so much potential and will thrive with the right person.

Story
Alex is an incredibly sweet, calm, and intelligent dog who has already made great progress in a short amount of time. He is very food-motivated, which makes training both effective and enjoyable. He quickly picks up commands like “sit,” “wait,” and responds well to redirection. He has a gentle and easygoing temperament in the home. He does not counter surf, beg for food, or get into things he shouldn’t. When relaxing, he’s content to quietly lay nearby or settle in his own space. He is also very quiet! We have not heard him bark, and he only whines briefly when adjusting to new situations like the crate. He walks well with guidance and has been responsive using a no-pull harness with a double lead. He allows handling well, including having his paws wiped after walks. He also plays appropriately with other dogs and reads social cues well, knowing when to engage and when to give space. He has gotten along with dogs of all shapes and sizes! While he is still building confidence with crate time, he has shown clear improvement and does best when he feels secure and not isolated. With continued training, a properly reinforced crate setup, and a consistent routine, we believe he will continue to succeed. Crate training will be important for Alex, because he may find ways to entertain himself if he is left at home alone that might include finding things to chew on and destroy. Overall, Alex is a loving, well-mannered dog with a lot of potential. He will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to give him the guidance and stability he needs to fully settle into his forever home. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Story
Almost 2 years old. He is a Black German shepherd lab mix. He is fixed and up to date on his shots. He is House trained and crate trained. He also knows basic commands such as sit, stay, and no ect. Would be best suited as the only pet in house hold, no young children. He enjoys walks, cuddles and playing fetch and playing with toys. We adopted him from a shelter in Lewis county last February, he was about 8 months old. We don’t know much about his history, we only know him and his sister were left at a fire station and then bounced around different animal shelters. Please reach out if you have any questions!
