Harley was dropped off at our house at 4 months of age in December 2024. The owner said he would take her back after two weeks but disappeared. We have been working with her since then and she has definitely made improvements in behavior and skills. Losing some puppy energy has helped as well. She is beautiful and very smart. She is very trainable and requires consistency. She loves to be wherever her humans are, especially in the yard. She loves to chew on sticks, play with humans, tug of war, belly rubs, and brain toys. Our household is not able to provide her the consistency and attention that she needs and deserves.

Meet Jack! He is a gentle, playful, quiet guy who loves attention and would love to snuggle with you. He is also very athletically built and could easily participate in any activities on your agenda. He loves meeting new people and pups. He lived with cats at his first foster home. I loaded him up in the cab of my truck when I picked him up from the eastern Washington transport and he rode home with no problems. He learned how to use the dog door by watching others and is using it to go potty. He will need leash training but i think he will catch on fast. He has had all of his shots and been neutered. We are experiencing increasing behavioral and safety concerns with our 1-year-old German Shepherd/Catahoula mix. He is reactive toward people entering our home and has growled at visitors. He also resource guards food items, bones, and toys around our other dog. Most importantly, we recently had a serious incident involving our 8-month-old baby. The baby crawled toward the dog while he was in his crate, and the dog barked and snapped/lunged toward the baby’s face, leaving marks on the baby’s face. While it was not a serious bite, this incident made us realize we can no longer safely manage him around our young children. We have not experienced significant issues with our older children, but with three young children and a baby we believe his behavioral needs are beyond what we can safely manage. We are seeking a safe, appropriate placement where his history can be fully disclosed. He is very loyal, and protective and will make a great companion for someone without kids.
