Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Welcome Koa to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Koa is a very sweet pup. We think her breed mix is Dutch Shepherd/Border Collie. She weighs about 28 pounds and should stay medium sized. She is good on a leash, good with other dogs. She is mostly with her sister in her foster home. Koa is the most confident of the 2 pups and she has 2 upright ears. She uses a doggy door and is good on leash and in a car. She would be best with someone that is active and outdoorsy. She would be fine as an only dog or would be good with another dog. She will be a fun one to train. She has good eye contact and attention to who is speaking with her. She has one upright ear and one that is not. She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. She would be a great family companion and could go with children. We like children to be 8 or older. Please be patient when you put in your application. Adoption fee for Koa is $400 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed mix. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Hi! My name is Bessie and I just arrived from Alabama! In Alabama I was around other dogs with no issue. I currently live with my foster family (a human mom, dad, and 3 kids ages 10, 7, and 3). They all LOVE me and give me hugs, belly rubs, and ear scratches. They call me their sweet and silly "bat dog" ... something about my ears apparently ;) I walk nicely on a leash and have not pulled too much unless I spy a friend I desperately want to meet. I really love being outside... I think I would like a fenced yard so I can hang independently from time to time. I don’t love going potty with someone real close by, but if long walks are your thing, I can do that too! I am not high energy inside the home, but if offered some playtime, I am game! Mom says I'm just so accommodating. And have you SEEN my puppy dog eyes? Secret weapon ;)I quietly sleep in my crate overnight AND when mom goes to work. When she's working from home, I closely supervise. My favorite treat is peanut butter. Oh! Don't forget to ask about my army crawl sprawl! I am looking for a family who has room in their hearts and home for a big, gentle, and fun snuggle bug!! It just might be YOU! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. He tolerates our pup, but would probably be happier in a home with no dogs or with older dogs. He doesn’t know how to play with our pup. He doesn’t seem to enjoy when our pup tries to get him to play. He’d rather sit by me with his head in my lap and get pets.

These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own! Eddie is working on his confidence being handled so an experienced home will be important for Eddie. He may also do best in a home without small children due to his initial trust concerns he may have. A Note from the Foster: Eddie is awesome! Eddie is an OOTC surrender that each day becomes calmer, more playful, and loves head rubs. He is a strong guy but very gentle. Walking on a leash is getting better and enjoyable. He has seen other dogs on walks and seems eager to meet them without barking. I feel he would be great with other dogs. He has met visitors appropriately. Has not been around kids or cats. He sleeps all night and quietly in his kennel, in the living room. Car rides are good. He has been on short trips out of kennel and long trips in the kennel. He eats well and loves treats. I feel he would be great for an active family. He loves to keep track of where we are and is happy to see us return home. Has had no accidents in the house, will go to the door if he needs to go out. A sweet, gentle, and fun guy to have in our home as a foster.
