Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Hi! My name is Bessie, but you might as well call me your new Bestie :) I currently live with my foster family (a human mom, dad, and 3 kids ages 10, 7, and 3). I am an eager learner, and already know sit, lay down, gentle, treat, outside/potty, and leave it. I love being outside, I am friends with everyone at the park, and I love my nylabone and Kong. Sometimes I forget that I'm 70 pounds, and need reminders to be gentle with the smaller humans, but I'm improving on that! A play date with a furry friend is a great outlet for me. I play hard and snooze hard!I crate at night perfectly, but would absolutely accept an invite to your bed. I am such a good girl, and am waiting patiently for you! 💕 --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. Story
Aurora is a beautiful, spunky 7 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix with lots of love to give. She loves to play fetch, enjoys belly rubs and pets, and entertains herself with bones and toys. Timid at first, she is a goofball once she warms up to new people and places. She does best with consistency, routine, and a primary caregiver who has the time and patience to help her feel safe. A home with a yard or a quieter suburban environment would likely suit her best. Slower introductions to new people are important for her, but once trust is built, she is affectionate and settled. In calm environments, she is quite chill and enjoys closeness with people she knows well. Rory struggles with reactivity, which shows up primarily as nervous barking toward people outside or unfamiliar situations. This is rooted in insecurity rather than aggression. With the right structure and practice, she has already shown signs of improvement. She is in training with The Canine Coach in the Twin Cities.

Story
Memphis is a phenomenal dog. He is house trained, crate trained, knows commands, and does not jump on guests. He is very mild mannered. He has also attended training school and did very well. He loves car rides and long walks or a romp in the back yard. He gets along great with any person and any dog, but he does have a prey drive and would do best in a home without cats. He would also benefit greatly from having another dog in the house.

Story
Carrots is an owner give up to our rescue. Below is the information her owner gave us initially. I have had Carrots for almost two years now. She has been the most amazing friend I could have asked for. She rarely barks and only lets out an occasional whine if she needs to go out or is wanting some attention. She’s a well behaved for a dog that lives her life with me in a small dorm and can only go out to play fetch or go for a walk when I’m not at class or work. She needs better. In general, she has been amazing for the hand she’s been dealt. I actually couldn’t be more grateful for how well she’s treated me as she’s grown to be near a full two years old!! I am having to part with her because she is still a puppy, and I’m a Junior in college struggling to work and commute on weekends when I have to, and give her the attention she deserves. She’s trained well. She sits on command, she can stay if you ask, she’s house trained, and she’s comfortable with her kennel if needed. She uses a harness for walks and does great. She was trained to walk on the left of you and she’s usually pretty good about staying focused. She has started the process of being an ESA certified dog but has not rec'd her second certification. Her previous owner said that she was around a child once and growled so we do not recommend her with small children. She has never been around cats so we cannot say whether she will or will not be okay arounds feline friends. She would make a great family member for an active family. If you would like to add Carrots to your home, please message us and we will send you an application. Carrots is being fostered in MS but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal friendly transport on the road! The adoption fee includes her medical for a health certificate and transport to you. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
