Sweet Pea is about 8 months old and is a very sweet little girl looking for her forever home. The couple that brought her in said they found her by the hotel where they were staying. She was so very sweet they didn't want anything to happen to her, so they turned her in. She loves her little bed. She has been fully vetted and is up to date on all shots, spayed and microchipped. This dog is being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Pen weighs about 20 pounds and will probably a medium dog when full grown. He is great with other dogs and, after some initial shyness, he enjoys getting pets from new human friends. He’s learning to spend time in his crate and do his business outside, but like all puppies, he will need continued training to be his best self! Wisteria is a 6 month old mixed breed lady who weighs about 15 pounds currently, so we expect she’ll be a medium pup when she’s full grown. She is Great with other dogs and appreciates getting pets and attention from new human friends once she warms up! She is proving to be the quieter and more timid pup between her and her brother, so she is looking for a loving home with lots of puppy patience! She’s been doing well in her crate and starting to work on potty training. She likes to follow her brother’s lead, so she might enjoy the company of another dog in her forever home. Rocket Man has been in rescue for quite a long time. Some people think that means there is something wrong with the dog. Not always the case - as with Rocket Man. He is a short, stout fella who loves people. All he wants is to be your buddy - to go on car rides and hikes- and sleep by your side. He has a great personality for being your number 1. He does live with another dog, but he would need to have a meet and greet with any other dogs. Why hasn't he been chosen? We have several ordinary looking dogs who are lingering in rescue. They aren't flashy with beautiful curls or long, fluffy coats and blue eyes. They are just ordinary looking. Don't be fooled by the black or brown dogs. They can be some of the most special personalities out there. All they need is a chance to show off. Meet JC, she is an approx. 10 year old Jack Russell. I don't know too much about her background but she is sweet yet timid. When I go to pet her she will flinch so I think someone was not very nice to her. She's a small girl at only 21 pounds and due to her age, she will not get any larger. On a past transport she was almost left behind in the shelter most likely because of her age but we could not do that. She was so happy to be picked to come. JC will follow me everywhere. She gets along well with the other dogs here, she just kind of keeps to herself, she likes to go in the car and stick her head out the window so I have to lock them. JC does have some hearing loss so she has to be kept closer either on leash or fenced yard. After having her for a few days, we did blood work to check everything because of her age; most all came back well but it was found she has cushings, a condition that sometimes affects both cats and dogs. She was drinking excessive amounts of water and peeing more. She is now on medication that has helped tremendously. It does cost about $50.00 per month thru Chewy. Due to this Rover Rescue has waived her adoption fee. She will do best in adult home or with older children. A fenced yard would be ideal so she can get frequent potty breaks thru the day. She does sleep quietly thru the night in her little kennel with comfy bed. I'm hoping someone will be able to provide for her and give her the best thru her senior years.
