Sweet Pea is about 8 months old and is a very sweet little girl looking for her forever home. The couple that brought her in said they found her by the hotel where they were staying. She was so very sweet they didn't want anything to happen to her, so they turned her in. She loves her little bed. She has been fully vetted and is up to date on all shots, spayed and microchipped. We are declaring winter over by having an entire flower garden of pups now in our care. Meet the flower litter pups! These blossoming blooms are approximately 4-5 months old and range between 15-20lbs! Mom is guessed to be a Feist mix an Dad looks to be a silver Lab mix (photo's attached for reference). Foster home update: Lilac is a loving, very active girl. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but needs help knowing what is appropriate "play" - she just gets so excited and does not realize. She is learning to accept being crated, but will protest loudly, but settles once she knows you have left, so for that reason, she will not be suited for apartments, condominiums or townhomes. With her exuberance, she would do best in a home with older children, so she does not accidentally bump into them. She is making progress in her foster home, but will definitely benefit from obedience training. We recommend training for all our dogs! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Noa has been living in a foster home but is back at our shelter to meet starting on Saturday, May 23rd. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet her during open hours! Scroll through her pictures to see her cute video content! Noa is a beautiful and pixie-ish pup at just around 40 lbs full grown! Pictures do not do her tiny frame justice, nor do they accurately portray how her head is a bit too small for her body... but Noa is perfect, and we could not love her more! Noa’s story began in Kentucky, but she’s ready for her happiest chapter yet — finding a family to call her own. Noa was surrendered to one of our rescue partners in a very rural area when her owners were no longer able to care for her. The area is so remote, adopters don't often come looking, even for the sweetest pups like Noa, so when we saw her photos and read about her, we were thrilled to make her a Heartland dog! This petite girl has the gentlest soul and the biggest heart. Noa doesn’t ask for much — just a warm lap, a soft place to rest, and someone to love with all she has. She’s the kind of dog who looks at you like you hung the moon, following you from room to room simply because being close to her people is where she feels safest and happiest. Noa was in a foster home for two weeks with a couple and their large dog. Noa did great with everyone in the home. While she had a couple of accidents initially, she caught in very quickly to going outside and would walk to the back door as a signal that she had to go. She walks very well on a leash and is not reactive at all. Her foster mom writes, "Noa is a sweet, gentle soul. She is incredibly cuddly and loves nothing more than being close to the people around her, making her the perfect companion for anyone who loves a snuggle buddy. She loves being outside and going for walks. Noa gets along really well with other dogs and enjoys a good play session, but she’s just as happy lounging by your side. She has a calm, easygoing nature that makes her a joy to have in the home. And if you’re lucky enough to have her nap near you, you’ll hear the most adorable soft little snore.
