Knox loves cuddles, is learning to walk on a leash, and is doing great with his potty-training routine. He’s a gentle little guy who just wants a family to love and grow up with. He gets along with kids and other dogs. We are working on potty training with him and he is catching on quickly! He loves to get a treat after he's gone potty outside! He can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He is loving romping around and playing with toys. He loves his evening snuggles. He can also sit, especially if food is involved! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This is Kylie - she is a ball of energy and is on the shy side. Everything is still very new to her. She is learning how to walk on a leash, how to share toys with the resident senior dog and is working on potty training. She is a total cuddle bug. The few times she has been in her crate, she whined a little bit but then got comfortable and laid down. She is treat/food motivated so hopefully this will come in handy with basic commands a potty training. Kylie has really come out of her shell since being in a foster home the last week. She has a ton of energy and would do best with an active family and a nice yard to run around in. She is fast, playful and super smart. She gets along well with dogs of all ages but it does take her some time to warm up to them. The outside world is a little scary to her still with all the sounds and things she has never seen before but with some patience, she is learning it isn’t all that scary. She does need consistency with potty training and knows if she does outside, she gets a treat. Rocket Man is a dog with a strong personality. He is short and stocky, making him stand out among other dogs. Rocket Man enjoys being in control and likes to be the boss of the pack. He craves attention and loves being around people, always seeking out affection and playtime. However, his assertiveness can sometimes lead to him bullying less dominant or submissive dogs. Despite this behavior, Rocket Man's loving nature and need for human companionship make him an ideal companion for an active and experienced dog owner. He enjoys running around with other dogs at the dog park. With proper training and socialization, Rocket Man can become a loyal and loving pet who will always be by his owner's side. Sonja was adopted 4 years ago in December from heartland animal shelter. My vet thought at time she was three years old so I’m guessing now she’s 6 or 7. Someone to love and care for her. She is trained to use the Peepee pads. She loves to sit on your lap under a blanket, loves kisses enjoys a fenced in yard. She sleeps in my bedroom in her bed. She’s tiny snuggly independent low maintenance. She eats a quarter cup of dry food twice a day and loves her treats!

Peaches joined BAARK after her mom passed away and no one in the family or among friends wanted her, or her two little Chihuahua friends. They were all left to find new places, losing their mom, their home, and everything that had become their lives. When Peaches and little friend Chewy joined BAARK, we thought they might be bonded but have learned they are not bonded to each other but do enjoy the company of other little dogs. As such Peaches would love a home with another dog…and plenty of attention and cuddle time! Peaches is about 5 years old, about 11 lbs, a Chihuahua, possibly a mix because she does not have the typical temperament of a Chihuahua! She’s very snuggly and such a happy girl. She has met new people, new dogs (big and small) and kids in her foster home and has done well with all. She is nearly a perfect pooch. However her only issue (not uncommon) is that she is a food stealer and, she eats FAST, worried that other dogs might steal her food! As such, the recommendation is that she eats separately so she can enjoy her healthy meals and others can do the same! Peaches is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and on year-round preventative. She is up to date on vaccinations. Peaches weighs about 11 lbs and would benefit from the loss of 1-2 lbs, A pet parent (parents) able to resist overfeeding Peaches AND proactively manage a healthy diet for her, is ideal. She is housebroken and has free roam of the house while her foster is at work.
