Adoption Donation   $ 599 Located:  RI  (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx 1 year old Weight:  27 lbs.   Found as a stray in Mississippi, emaciated and no owner looking for her. Gypsy has since gained several pounds and is a healthy happy energetic pooch! She currently weighs 29 lbs. and is not expected to do much more growing. Although she is a year old, she is still very much a puppy.  She will need some basic obedience training; however, she is very food motivated and eager to please. Her temperament is fabulous. She is kid and dog friendly. She can be jumpy and mouthy at times so no small children. She loves to play and pounce on other dogs so she would need a buddy who also wants to play. She does like her crate, and we have been utilizing it for housetraining. She is doing very well once in a consistent routine. She is very curious about absolutely everything and if left to roam around the house she will find trouble so her new family will need to stay on top of her training. Gypsy will be a fabulous addition to anyone looking for a beautiful, healthy, smart, and energetic young dog.   If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  kyleallyn1112@yahoo.com  Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. Adoption Donation  $ 599 Located: RI (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx. 2 years old Weight: 30  lbs.   Meet Lucinda! She's the most gorgeous brindle Feist, around two years old, and she was hanging around under someone's porch in Mississippi but would run whenever she saw a human being. Thank goodness one of our awesome southern rescuers was able to trap Lucinda, and after just a few days in foster care she has firmly become an indoor dog. Lucinda is loving the comfort, yummy food, attention, and affection she's getting and is spending her days relaxing in a sunbeam, prowling the backyard for squirrels, and showing her love and gratitude to her foster family. Lucinda is gentle, mild mannered, super sweet and actually smaller than she appears in pictures at 27 pounds. She was treated for heartworm in the south, and thank goodness has fully recovered, and is a happy, healthy girl. Lucinda is loving life with her 4-legged best friend  her ideal home would have another dog.   If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  lauraraia74@gmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. Story
Adoption Donation   $599 Located: RI   Age: 1 yr old 45 lbs   Meet Dip N Dot!  AKA Dippy (or "Dip" for short) is a well-rounded and curious girl who loves to explore her surroundings and learn new things. She’s currently mastering her basic commands like sit, lay down, and come, and she's making steady progress with her potty training. As with most young dogs, Dippy is still a bit mouthy due to her baby teeth, but give her the right toys and attention, and she settles in just fine. She loves food and treats, which makes training easier and fun! Dippy is full of playful energy and would thrive in a home that can give her plenty of physical and mental stimulation. She’s still learning not to jump up on people, so a home without very young children would be best for now. With continued training, that behavior should improve quickly. She’s been living with her brother and enjoys canine company, though she may need a patient dog companion—she hasn’t quite learned the concept of personal space yet! Dippy is shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up, her vibrant and affectionate personality really shines. Whether you're looking for a sweet, smart, and slightly goofy pup to grow with your family or a fun companion for your current dog, Dippy is ready to win your heart.     *** As part of the adoption donation this pup will participate in FOA's spay/neuter program or other programs available through FOHA. If you would like to apply to take MURPHY home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. This little one came from a hoarding situation, we are estimating to be somewhere between 1-2 years old. Being taken out of that situation when it’s all you’ve ever known is a bit of an adjustment, they have just gone into foster homes, and with patience and a bit of time we are confident they can adjust into a normal life. None of the dogs were nippy, just nervous. With this in mind we would recommend no small children or hectic households. They are all used to other dogs and a confident doggy companion in the home would be great. Apply now will be available to go home mid February.
We'll also keep you updated on ASHER's adoption status with email updates.
