Story
Adoption Donation   $   599 Located: in KY (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx 2 yo Weight:19 lbs   Addie Rose is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. She would do best in a peaceful environment, ideally with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes and build her confidence. Addie is learning to trust humans and discovering what it means to live in a loving home. She is not aggressive at all — just shy and still figuring things out. With patience, kindness, and consistency, she will continue to grow and shine. If you have a gentle heart, a quiet home, and maybe a canine companion to guide her, Addie Rose could be the perfect addition to your family.  If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:    ssotis@cox.net Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. Adoption Donation  $ 599 Located: RI (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx. 2 years old Weight: 30  lbs.   Meet Lucinda! She's the most gorgeous brindle Feist, around two years old, and she was hanging around under someone's porch in Mississippi but would run whenever she saw a human being. Thank goodness one of our awesome southern rescuers was able to trap Lucinda, and after just a few days in foster care she has firmly become an indoor dog. Lucinda is loving the comfort, yummy food, attention, and affection she's getting and is spending her days relaxing in a sunbeam, prowling the backyard for squirrels, and showing her love and gratitude to her foster family. Lucinda is gentle, mild mannered, super sweet and actually smaller than she appears in pictures at 27 pounds. She was treated for heartworm in the south, and thank goodness has fully recovered, and is a happy, healthy girl. Lucinda is loving life with her 4-legged best friend  her ideal home would have another dog.   If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  lauraraia74@gmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. Story
Adoption Donation   $599 Located: RI   Age: 1 yr old 45 lbs   Meet Dip N Dot!  AKA Dippy (or "Dip" for short) is a well-rounded and curious girl who loves to explore her surroundings and learn new things. She’s currently mastering her basic commands like sit, lay down, and come, and she's making steady progress with her potty training. As with most young dogs, Dippy is still a bit mouthy due to her baby teeth, but give her the right toys and attention, and she settles in just fine. She loves food and treats, which makes training easier and fun! Dippy is full of playful energy and would thrive in a home that can give her plenty of physical and mental stimulation. She’s still learning not to jump up on people, so a home without very young children would be best for now. With continued training, that behavior should improve quickly. She’s been living with her brother and enjoys canine company, though she may need a patient dog companion—she hasn’t quite learned the concept of personal space yet! Dippy is shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up, her vibrant and affectionate personality really shines. Whether you're looking for a sweet, smart, and slightly goofy pup to grow with your family or a fun companion for your current dog, Dippy is ready to win your heart.     *** As part of the adoption donation this pup will participate in FOA's spay/neuter program or other programs available through FOHA. All puppies will have age appropriate vaccinations.  All small Pups need to be adopted by by children old enough to understand how to be respectful and gentle in handling a small young pup. ***     If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website   www.fohari.org and email my foster parent for more information:  wideye13@yahoo.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.       Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. Adoption Donation   $ 699 Located: in RI 3/15 (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx 10 weeks old Weight:3 lbs   Meet Miss Rosebud Miss Rosebud is a spunky, bright, and eager to learn little girl with a whole lot of personality packed into a tiny body. She’s full of life and energy and absolutely loves to play, especially with other dogs. She has a sweet independent side and is perfectly content settling into her own space when it’s time to recharge. She’s doing really well with potty training and understands going outside, though she’s still learning and will thrive with consistency and routine. Rosebud is smart and picking things up quickly, she already recognizes “treat” and “potty,” and she’s eager to keep learning with the right guidance. She does best with someone who can read and respect her social cues. There are moments where she enjoys her independence and prefers a little space, and she’ll let you know when that’s the case. She loves to hop around and explore, so a fenced in yard would be ideal for her to safely run and play. Overall, Rosebud is a fun, spirited little girl who will make an amazing companion for someone willing to continue guiding her and loving her for exactly who she is  If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:    tiffany-lee@hotmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. With patience, love, and a few tasty treats, he’ll blossom into a loyal and cuddly companion. Once he trusts you, Mr. McFly will be your devoted best friend—always ready to snuggle by your side. He’s looking for a calm, quiet home with gentle, patient humans who understand that slow and steady wins the race.
