Adoption Donation   $ 599 Located:  RI  (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx 1 year old Weight:  27 lbs.   Found as a stray in Mississippi, emaciated and no owner looking for her. Gypsy has since gained several pounds and is a healthy happy energetic pooch! She currently weighs 29 lbs. and is not expected to do much more growing. Although she is a year old, she is still very much a puppy.  She will need some basic obedience training; however, she is very food motivated and eager to please. Her temperament is fabulous. She is kid and dog friendly. She can be jumpy and mouthy at times so no small children. She loves to play and pounce on other dogs so she would need a buddy who also wants to play. She does like her crate, and we have been utilizing it for housetraining. She is doing very well once in a consistent routine. She is very curious about absolutely everything and if left to roam around the house she will find trouble so her new family will need to stay on top of her training. Gypsy will be a fabulous addition to anyone looking for a beautiful, healthy, smart, and energetic young dog.   If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  kyleallyn1112@yahoo.com  Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. Adoption Donation   $    599                Located:    Ms     (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details )    Age: approx   2   years old     Weight: 30  lbs Meet Lucinda! She's the most gorgeous brindle Feist, around two years old, and she was hanging around under someone's porch in Mississippi but would run whenever she saw a human being. Thank goodness one of our awesome southern rescuers was able to trap Lucinda, and after just a few days in foster care she has firmly become an indoor dog. Lucinda is loving the comfort, yummy food, attention, and affection she's getting and is spending her days relaxing in a sunbeam, prowling the backyard for squirrels, and showing her love and gratitude to her foster family. Lucinda is gentle, mild mannered, super sweet and actually smaller than she appears in pictures at 27 pounds. She was treated for heartworm in the south, and thank goodness has fully recovered, and is a happy, healthy girl.  If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  friendsoha@yahoo.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. Adoption Donation   $ 699   Located: RI  (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details ) Age: Puppy   DOB:  1/7/2025   Meet Dip N Dot!  AKA Dippy (or "Dip" for short) is a well-rounded and curious puppy who loves to explore her surroundings and learn new things. She’s currently mastering her basic commands like sit, lay down, and come, and she's making steady progress with her potty training. As with most puppies, Dippy is still a bit mouthy due to her baby teeth, but give her the right toys and attention, and she settles in just fine. She loves food and treats, which makes training easier and fun! Dippy is full of playful energy and would thrive in a home that can give her plenty of physical and mental stimulation. She’s still learning not to jump up on people, so a home without very young children would be best for now. With continued training, that behavior should improve quickly. She’s been living with her brother and enjoys canine company, though she may need a patient dog companion—she hasn’t quite learned the concept of personal space yet! Dippy is shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up, her vibrant and affectionate personality really shines. Whether you're looking for a sweet, smart, and slightly goofy pup to grow with your family or a fun companion for your current dog, Dippy is ready to win your heart.     *** As part of the adoption donation this pup will participate in FOA's spay/neuter program or other programs available through FOHA. All puppies will have age appropriate vaccinations.  All small Pups need to be adopted by by children old enough to understand how to be respectful and gentle in handling a small young pup. ***     If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website   www.fohari.org and email my foster parent for more information:  wideye13@yahoo.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.       Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Rusty! Rusty is approximately 5 months old, 25 lbs currently and he is an adorable mixed breed dog! In his foster home, he is doing great with his house training, crate training but has no experience with leash walking. He could go to a home with dog-savvy kids, cats and other dogs. His foster says, `Rusty is going to fit into any house dynamic situation he is put into. He is still a puppy and requires being watched and is learning what is and is not ok to chew on. Rusty would love a house with other playful dogs, kids, and humans that want to go places do things. Would make a fantastic hiking/jogging buddy. He is SUPER smart. Eager to learn. Knows to sit before even being told. Learning down and shake. Takes his good boy treats gently. All your fingers stay in tact! Very inquisitive, and wants to know what everyone is doing and if he can help. Careful, he likes helping with the laundry including getting it out of the dryer! (take note of that) He really does not get up on the furniture, or the bed. Sleeps on the floor/dog beds/blankies. He has not had one accident in the house since I have had him! He does out on a regular basis with the other dogs and any other time offered to go out. Rusty LOVES to just curl up at your feet. Even if youre cooking or doing dishes. If you hold still too long you will have a good little foot warmer suddenly passed out at your feet If you have cats, that is ok too. He pretty much ignores mine. Grumpy seniors?? Those are ok too. He takes their attitudes like a champ.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on December 5th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Rocket Man is a dog with a strong personality. He is short and stocky, making him stand out among other dogs. Rocket Man enjoys being in control and likes to be the boss of the pack. He craves attention and loves being around people, always seeking out affection and playtime. However, his assertiveness can sometimes lead to him bullying less dominant or submissive dogs. Despite this behavior, Rocket Man's loving nature and need for human companionship make him an ideal companion for an active and experienced dog owner. He enjoys running around with other dogs at the dog park. With proper training and socialization, Rocket Man can become a loyal and loving pet who will always be by his owner's side. Story
Meet Fortune Cookie! Fortune Cookie is ready to tell your future, and it just might include her by your side. Fortune Cookie is bonded with her best friend, Snoopy, they have a close relationship and would benefit from going home together. Cookie is very sweet and gentle, she is rather shy with new people. The good news is that there’s an easy way to break down Cookie’s walls and earn her trust - treats, and lots of them. Give her a little time and a tasty snack and she’ll be your little shadow and best friend. Since she did come from a home with limited exposure to the outside world, Fortune Cookie is not house trained and has no experience being on leash. She would do best in a home that either has a secure yard or is comfortable using pee pads until a time where she is comfortable going for walks. Cookie and Snoopy are in our special adoption program, if you are interested in them please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email cshamgochian@parl.org to set up a meet and greet

Story
Meet Honeycomb and Bingo! These two pups came in with a number of their friends and littermates, but they seem to share a very special bond with each other. Honeycomb is still just a puppy at only three months while Bingo is estimated to be a year old. They match each other's energy and love to play silly games and rough house together. Since they haven't experienced any of the world before coming to us, they are nervous with new people and situations. Luckily, these two are absolutely obsessed with food and are ready to bond with you over a tasty snack and a shared meal. Honeycomb and Bingo are not house trained, so adopters should be understanding and patient with any accidents they have as they settle into the home. **If you are interested in this sweet pair, please complete an adopter’s profile at parl.org and come in during our open hours**

Story
Introducing Cassia! 🐶😍 This 7-month-old Chihuahua/Husky mix is basically a walking ray of sunshine. With ears that look like they could pick up satellite signals and a smile that never quits, she’s equal parts silly and sweet. Cassia has plenty of pep in her step and would love a home that can keep up with her goofy zoomies, toy-tossing sessions, and “look at me” moments that will have you in stitches. She’s got a whole lot of personality packed into her little frame, and she’s not afraid to show it off! She’s wonderfully social—great with kids, cats, and other dogs—and would especially benefit from a canine companion to help her run off some of that puppy energy (and join in her hilarious zoomie routines). After playtime, though, she’s all about the cuddles. She’s crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Cassia isn’t just looking for a home—she’s looking for a family (and maybe a furry sibling!) to laugh with, cuddle with, and love forever. 🐾❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such.
