Story
Pee Wee is a total sweetheart! He loves being around people, especially his housemates. He greets everyone with the same generous affection and is very comfortable meeting new people. He is a small Chi/Mountain Feist mix weighing in at 21lbs. He loves to play, and dance on his hind legs! He’s good with other dogs, especially younger dogs with lots of energy like him! He will definitely need another pup in the home. He loves to cuddle with his person or sleep under a blanket. At bedtime he wants to be in the BIG BED with his people, not in a crate or a pen. Pee Wee enjoys chewing on dog friendly appropriate chews, playing fetch and sleeping on your lap. Pee Wee is housebroken & crate trained. One HUGE plus for Pee Wee is he is SUPER smart and follows instructions like a little person! Does Pee Wee sound like he may be the right new family member for you? Please apply for him below. Pee Wee is current on his vaccinations and is neutered. If you are interested in adopting Pee Wee please apply on our website www.coaldr.org. Please note - Pee Wee is located in Massachusetts & is available for a meet & greet.

Story
Dasher Provac is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Dasher is a spunky little man with a big personality. He does best with dogs his own size and similar energy style. Dasher should be fed separately and can be protective over his toys. He is super friendly, loves people, and will happily follow you from room to room. Dasher enjoys walks, loves playing fetch, and has a special fondness for small toys he can carry and toss around.  Food motivated, great in the crate and does well home alone.  Great on leash, enjoys car rides, and loves outside.   His perfect home is waiting, is it with you? If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter. Story
Laika is a 6.5 years old Lab and a Terrier mix weighing about 38 lbs. We adopted her more than 4 years ago from NorthEast Animal Shelter. She is a medium energy dog and very goofy! She loves squeaky toys and destroys them in minutes. She loves humans and greets everyone and asks for pets, she is however reactive to other dogs and has to be the only pet at home. We give her Farmer's dog fresh food everyday and would be ideal if she can get the same in her new home. She does get on the living room furniture and sleeps on her blankets. In the nights she sleeps in her crate. She doesn't like her nails trimmed or being given injections so we have to give her medication before we take her to vet. She is in general very lovely dog, loves to sleep next to you and will follow you everywhere. We realized our baby has dog allergies and are forced to re-home her.

Story
Adoption Donation   $ 599 Located:  RI  (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx 1 year old Weight:  27 lbs.   Found as a stray in Mississippi, emaciated and no owner looking for her. Gypsy has since gained several pounds and is a healthy happy energetic pooch! She currently weighs 29 lbs. and is not expected to do much more growing. Although she is a year old, she is still very much a puppy.  She will need some basic obedience training; however, she is very food motivated and eager to please. Her temperament is fabulous. She is kid and dog friendly. She can be jumpy and mouthy at times so no small children. She loves to play and pounce on other dogs so she would need a buddy who also wants to play. She does like her crate, and we have been utilizing it for housetraining. She is doing very well once in a consistent routine. She is very curious about absolutely everything and if left to roam around the house she will find trouble so her new family will need to stay on top of her training. Gypsy will be a fabulous addition to anyone looking for a beautiful, healthy, smart, and energetic young dog.   If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  kyleallyn1112@yahoo.com  Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. Adoption Donation   $    599                Located:    Ms     (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details )    Age: approx   2   years old     Weight: 30  lbs Meet Lucinda! She's the most gorgeous brindle Feist, around two years old, and she was hanging around under someone's porch in Mississippi but would run whenever she saw a human being. Thank goodness one of our awesome southern rescuers was able to trap Lucinda, and after just a few days in foster care she has firmly become an indoor dog. Lucinda is loving the comfort, yummy food, attention, and affection she's getting and is spending her days relaxing in a sunbeam, prowling the backyard for squirrels, and showing her love and gratitude to her foster family. Lucinda is gentle, mild mannered, super sweet and actually smaller than she appears in pictures at 27 pounds. She was treated for heartworm in the south, and thank goodness has fully recovered, and is a happy, healthy girl. Lucinda is loving life with her 4-legged best friend ; her ideal home would have another dog.   If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  friendsoha@yahoo.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in.
