Story
Bobble is full of energy, curiosity, and love! He is making great progress with potty training and is working on crate training and leash manners. Bobble gets along well with other dogs and has done nicely with the foster cats in his home. He’s mostly happy and playful, with a love for fun and games that never seems to quit—playing is definitely his favorite activity! Bobble does get a little overly excited around food. It seems he hasn’t always had consistent access to meals, so he eats with enthusiasm, like every meal could be his last. Crates are still a bit stressful for Bobble, and we’re slowly helping him feel safe and comfortable in one. He’s a smart, fast learner and would do best in an active, patient home that can continue teaching him manners, routines, and how to navigate life as a confident young dog. Bobble is affectionate, loving, and especially enjoys playtime with his foster dog brother. With guidance, consistency, and lots of love, he’s going to grow into a wonderful, loyal companion.   Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays from 12-4 pm at 372 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable animals in person. This tiny peanut is Max — a 4-lb, 7-month-old Chihuahua with a huge personality packed into a very small body. Max is friendly, spunky, and absolutely adores curling up in a warm lap. He may be little, but he keeps up with dogs of all sizes and loves playing with toys — even the ones bigger than he is!Max is currently living with other dogs and doing wonderfully. He’s a typical happy puppy who enjoys playtime, companionship, and lots of love.Max does need a special adopter. Because he is so tiny, he will require a home that is very careful and mindful about keeping him safe. The day he arrived in our care, he experienced a seizure. Since switching to a limited-ingredient diet, he has been a completely typical puppy with no additional episodes. However, due to his history, Max will need an adopter who is prepared — physically, emotionally, and financially — to care for a pup who could potentially have seizures in the future.In return, Max promises a lifetime of love, loyalty, and happiness. Meet Jojo, an adorable Chihuahua with a delightful combination of old fuddy and classic Chihuahua personalities. He`s an excellent walking companion and is always up for adventure and exploration. He gets along with other dogs, but can be the only dog. He has a lot of feelings and isn`t afraid to show them and his silly expressions and reactions make foster mom laugh every day. He absolutely loves curling up on a pile of laundry in a basket so foster mom makes sure one is always available.
