Story
Meet Bree! Bree is a 6 month old smooth coat retriever mix with a petite frame and the sweetest spirit. She has unique brindle coat and ears soft like velvet. She was found dumped at a construction site with her two sisters, but this resilient girl hasn’t let that rough start dull her shine. She loves to be with her people and pack. She gets along with adults and kids alike. She gets along with her much larger foster siblings and will hold her own if needed. She is a shadow dog and loves to always be nearby, but is not underfoot. Bree also has opinions on TV shows and wants to share them with you. She`s content to sleep on her bed while you work, eat, or just while you`re doing daily activities. She is house trained and crate trained. She protests when she first goes in her crate but will eventually settle. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but she’s eager to learn, loves attention, and is ready to trade construction dust for a cozy home and a family of her own. Eventhough, she enjoys hanging with her siblings and her foster`s pack she would be fine as an only dog. She would also do fine as an apartment dog. Bree has been spayed and current with her vaccines. Bree is ready to build her forever life with you.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Well, Hello There!! I'm Luna! I'm two years old and weigh approximately 73 pounds. I can come live with you in Texas or New England. My favorite activity is spending time with my foster mom on the back patio and in the backyard. She says I'm great at going for walks, and I enjoy car rides. I'm so smart, I know how to sit on command and am kennel trained. I love other dogs, both big ones and those tiny ones! I like cats, too, though my foster mom says I can be a bit overwhelming to the cat when I get excited to say hello. I would cherish a home where I can receive lots of love, be an active participant in my family's life, and have the freedom to grow my sweet disposition. She sits and stays on command. I'm spayed (whatever that means), vaccinated (that's a funny word), house-broken (I swear, I didn't break anything in the house), and microchipped (that sounds like a sci-fi movie). 🗞️ The Daily Dog 🗞️ Special Feature: A Very Good Girl Named Reba If you’ve been searching for a little more peace, softness, and love in your life, allow us to introduce Reba. 🤍 At 9–10 years young and a perfect 45 pounds, Reba redefines what it means to be the ultimate companion. She shines in slow mornings, sunny afternoon naps, and quiet evenings spent right by your side. She is known for bringing a sense of calm and comfort wherever she goes. Despite being visually impaired, Reba navigates her world with remarkable confidence using her nose, her ears, and her memory. Once she learns her surroundings, she moves through life with ease and quiet grace. She may not see everything, but she feels everything that matters, especially love. Her leash manners? Lovely. Her daily walks? A highlight. Reba prefers a relaxed pace, taking in every scent and sound along the way. Car rides have also received glowing reviews. She is a calm, content passenger who simply enjoys being close to her person. Bonus points if the destination includes a pet store, where she can fully explore her love of new smells. Critics Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “She’s the kind of dog who makes your whole house feel warmer.” — Reba’s foster family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Would give 15/10 if we could.” — Literally anyone she meets Reba is seeking a home where she can truly shine as the only dog. In a peaceful, low-key environment, her sweet and gentle personality takes center stage. She is well-mannered, easy to care for, and happiest when she’s close to the people she loves. Fully prepared for her next chapter, Reba is vaccinated, crate trained, house trained, spayed, and microchipped. Ideal home: someone who appreciates a slower pace, values quiet companionship, and is ready to welcome a deeply loving, loyal dog into their life. Final verdict: A gentle soul with a steady heart. She’s the kind you wait your whole life for. Apply to adopt Reba in Texas at www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Available for adoption in Texas: Collins! At just one year old and about 60 pounds, Collins is the perfect blend of youthful energy and snuggles. Collins firmly believes the best seat in the house is whichever one is closest to you. Preferably touching you. Just to be safe. This beautiful girl with the biggest, most soulful eyes bonds deeply with her humans. Once you’re in her circle, you’re in for life. She follows her foster like a devoted little shadow and is convinced that every task is better when done as a team. Cooking dinner? Together. Folding laundry? Together. Sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing? Especially together. In Collins’ world, personal space is more of a suggestion. She can be shy when meeting new people and appreciates slow, gentle introductions. But once she feels safe, she melts. Truly melts. She’ll lean into you like she’s been yours forever. Collins takes her role as “loyal sidekick” very seriously. Batman had Robin. You’ll have Collins. She is currently building confidence during life’s solo moments, like when her people leave the house. Because she bonds so deeply, being alone hasn’t always been her favorite thing. The good news? She’s making wonderful progress with structure, consistency, and medication support. We’re already seeing her grow braver. She will need a patient, understanding home, committed to continuing that journey and cheering her on. Collins would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not and where she has a confident canine sibling. Another dog isn’t just a bonus for her; it’s truly important. She gains comfort and confidence from having a dog friend to follow and learn from. She loves other dogs and does well with cats, too! And if she wasn’t cute enough already, Collins knows some Spanish! Bilingual queen energy. She’s looking for a calm, stable home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. In return, you’ll get unwavering devotion, endless snuggles, and a best friend who thinks you are the greatest thing that has ever happened. Collins is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, and officially ready to start her next chapter with her forever family. If you’ve been searching for a loyal little shadow with soulful eyes and an even bigger heart, Collins is waiting! 🤍 Apply to adopt at www.luckylabrescue.com
