🗞️ The Daily Dog 🗞️ Special Feature: A Very Good Girl Named Reba If you’ve been searching for a little more peace, softness, and love in your life, allow us to introduce Reba. 🤍 At 9–10 years young and a perfect 45 pounds, Reba redefines what it means to be the ultimate companion. She shines in slow mornings, sunny afternoon naps, and quiet evenings spent right by your side. She is known for bringing a sense of calm and comfort wherever she goes. Despite being visually impaired, Reba navigates her world with remarkable confidence using her nose, her ears, and her memory. Once she learns her surroundings, she moves through life with ease and quiet grace. She may not see everything, but she feels everything that matters, especially love. Her leash manners? Lovely. Her daily walks? A highlight. Reba prefers a relaxed pace, taking in every scent and sound along the way. Car rides have also received glowing reviews. She is a calm, content passenger who simply enjoys being close to her person. Bonus points if the destination includes a pet store, where she can fully explore her love of new smells. Critics Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “She’s the kind of dog who makes your whole house feel warmer.” — Reba’s foster family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Would give 15/10 if we could.” — Literally anyone she meets Reba is seeking a home where she can truly shine as the only dog. In a peaceful, low-key environment, her sweet and gentle personality takes center stage. She is well-mannered, easy to care for, and happiest when she’s close to the people she loves. Fully prepared for her next chapter, Reba is vaccinated, crate trained, house trained, spayed, and microchipped. Ideal home: someone who appreciates a slower pace, values quiet companionship, and is ready to welcome a deeply loving, loyal dog into their life. Final verdict: A gentle soul with a steady heart. She’s the kind you wait your whole life for. Apply to adopt Reba in Texas at www.luckylabrescue.com

Available for Adoption in Texas - Meet Gus Gus!
This sweet little cuddle bug is 8 weeks old, weighs just over 9 pounds, and has fully embraced the “professional lap puppy” lifestyle. While his siblings are busy zooming around, Gus Gus is usually nearby hoping for belly rubs, snuggles, and extra attention. He’s the calmest of the bunch and has the most precious little head tilt when you say his name, like he’s genuinely trying to understand every word you’re saying. Gus Gus has been raised around bigger dogs and never lets his size slow him down. He loves toys, loves people, and especially loves giving kisses. If you’re looking for a puppy who balances playful energy with a softer, snuggly side, Gus Gus may be your perfect match! Gus Gus is microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccines. Story
Up for adoption in Texas: Puppy Max. Lucky Lab saved Max after he was dumped at a truck stop and brought to safety by a caring gentleman. He is about three months old and weighs 25 pounds. If you have been thinking about a puppy, don't miss this gem! Max is delightful and amazing. This little boy is a lot of fun and well-behaved. He loves to play with toys and the other dog in the house. He is sweet and gentle with kids. He likes exploring the yard and cuddling with you on the couch. Max is calm and a good napper. He is smart and motivated by meal time, so he is food motivated which typically means very trainable! In fact, he already knows "sit." When home alone, Max does well in a crate with no issues. At night, he'll sleep in your bed and stay there until you get up. He is working really hard on potty training and is almost there. Max is a great puppy! He has received two rounds of puppy vaccinations and will be microchipped. Apply for this cutie at http://www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Daisy Mae! This beautiful purebred-looking Lab is about 7 years old and weighs approximately 60 lbs. Daisy Mae has never met a stranger, and everyone who meets her falls in love. This gentle, chill, happy girl is an easy addition to any family. She loves all humans and gets along with all the dogs she's met while in her foster home. She showed interest in a neighbor's cat, but when the cat didn’t reciprocate, she turned and walked away. She also didn’t react to neighborhood dogs who barked and lunged at her. Daisy Mae is house-trained and prefers to do her business on short walks several times a day rather than in the yard, but she will pee in the yard if she really needs to. She’s easy on a leash, although she likes to get to say hello to passersby — and she always approaches low and wiggly and never jumps. She doesn’t need to be crated, as she has never been destructive or tried to get into anything when left home alone. However, in her first few days in a new place, she may be a little anxious and bark. Once she feels safe and realizes you’re coming back, she’ll mostly just sleep while you’re gone. She doesn’t bark at things out the window, or even when people come to the door. She’s a very quiet girl. Daisy Mae would love to share your bed, but if she has a bed of her own in your room and you tell her that that’s where you want her, that’s where she’ll stay through the night. She’s also good in the car and loves to go to the park for hikes, and she has the cutest bouncy rocking horse run. She lived with other dogs in her original home and has been living with five other dogs in her foster home, so we don’t know how she would do as the only pet. But she’s so easy-going that once she realizes it’s home, she would probably be fine. She is very gentle and patient and likes to be hugged. She has enjoyed meeting babies and young children on walks. The most important thing to Daisy Mae (and to Lucky Lab) is that she is loved. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Apply for her at www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Holly. Holly is a one-year-old and weighs approximately 65 pounds. In fact, you may remember Holly, we saved her from a shelter with her puppies around Christmas-time, hence her name, Holly. She's a true gem, dog, cat, and people-friendly! She was a wonderful mother to her two puppies (Holly was just a mere pup herself when she had her puppies, which is why spaying and neutering are so important, and now she’s looking for a family to call her own. Holly is house- and crate-trained and rides well in a vehicle. She loves to play outside, either by herself doing zoomies and exploring or with her foster siblings. Holly enjoys pets, cuddles, and kisses, and likes being included in everyday life. She is good with large and small dogs, as well as the cats in her foster home. She is a gentle dog who wants to find her place and be part of a family. She would love a playmate, but would be good as a solo dog as well. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
