Story
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Holly. Holly is a one-year-old and weighs approximately 65 pounds. In fact, you may remember Holly, we saved her from a shelter with her puppies around Christmas-time, hence her name, Holly. She's a true gem, dog, cat, and people-friendly! She was a wonderful mother to her two puppies (Holly was just a mere pup herself when she had her puppies, which is why spaying and neutering are so important, and now she’s looking for a family to call her own. Holly is house- and crate-trained and rides well in a vehicle. She loves to play outside, either by herself doing zoomies and exploring or with her foster siblings. Holly enjoys pets, cuddles, and kisses, and likes being included in everyday life. She is good with large and small dogs, as well as the cats in her foster home. She is a gentle dog who wants to find her place and be part of a family. She would love a playmate, but would be good as a solo dog as well. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Story
Meet Ollie — a 65 lb elastic band of enthusiasm held together by fur, optimism, and the faint hope that you dropped a snack. He’s 2 years old, tall, lanky, and moves with the confident wobble of a toddler in a cape. His knees have their own opinions. His life motto is “full send.” Ollie lives with a cat and dogs. The cat is the household deity; Ollie approaches her like a mortal at a sacred shrine, hoping not to be smote. He plays well with dogs and thrives at daycare. But his true soulmate is his foster family’s five year old daughter. If she runs, he’s beside her. If she drops a crumb, he materializes. If she’s plotting mischief, he’s already on the committee. Ollie isn’t just fun at home, he’s an absolute star out in the world. He spends his weekends at farmers markets, trails, and busy public spots, and he thrives in it. He loves meeting people, especially kids, greets other dogs politely, and will happily sit and wait while you chat. He would make an incredible companion for someone who wants a dog by their side for everything. Hiking, running, patio hangs, markets, camping trips, daily adventures… Ollie is ready. If you live an active, dog-friendly lifestyle, he’s your perfect sidekick. When he’s not out adventuring, Ollie turns into a cuddle blanket. He melts into couches, flops into beds, and tucks himself into his crate like it’s his personal spa. He LOVES his crate. He knows “sit” and “down”, walks nicely on leash, and is overall a very good boy… except when it comes to recall. He hears you. He considers it. He chooses chaos. He believes he is the neighborhood security system when it comes to squirrels and birds. He doesn’t chew furniture, but the trash can is his greatest temptation. Ollie is not apartment compatible. He needs a yard, an active family, and ideally a dog companion. He would do great with someone who works from home and would thrive going to daycare regularly. If you want a dog who is 50% cuddle, 50% chaotic good, and 100% comedy, Ollie is your guy. He’s house trained, crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to boost your serotonin daily. Apply to adopt Ollie at luckylabrescue.com!

Available for Adoption in Texas - Meet Sven!
At 8 weeks old and already 10 pounds, this handsome little guy is built like a baby reindeer and has the personality to match. Sven is all about adventure, playtime, and soaking up every ounce of attention he can get. If there’s a toy nearby, he’s on it. If one of his siblings wants to wrestle, he’s ready. And if there’s a tug-of-war match happening, Sven is probably leading it.
After playing hard, he crashes just as hard and can sleep absolutely anywhere, through absolutely anything. This happy little snow pup has been raised around bigger dogs and fits right in with the pack. He’s full of kisses, nonstop tail wags, and adorable puppy charm! Sven is microchipped and age-appropriate vaccines. Apply to adopt Sven in Texas on our website www.luckylabrescue.com!

Story
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Lola is a 4½‑year‑old Lab mix weighing 59 pounds, and she’s a truly lovely girl with a gentle, affectionate heart. She was originally adopted from us as a puppy, but was recently returned through no fault of her own. Her previous family moved into a new home located next to a train line, and the loud train horn caused Lola significant panic. In her fear, she would attempt to escape the yard to get away from the noise. Concerned for her safety, her owners made the difficult decision to return her to us in hopes she could find a calmer, more suitable environment. Here with us, Lola has been incredibly sweet and people‑oriented. She has shown some anxious behaviors, which is understandable given her recent stress, but she has not attempted to escape our yards — even when firetruck sirens pass by our facility. With stability, reassurance, and a quieter home setting, Lola has every chance to thrive. She is in great health, and our veterinary team has cleared her with no concerns. Her adoption fee is $300, though we are willing to be flexible for the right family who can offer her the peaceful environment she needs.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether she is housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you’d like to meet Lola, we’d be happy to help. She’s a loyal, loving girl who just needs a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe — and she’s ready to start her next chapter with a family who will cherish her. 🐾✨
