HI - I'M GOOSE! I'm a young (1-2) black lab-flat coat retriever-lab mix in need of a foster or forever home! (Shelter says I'm 3 but I act like a 1-year-old puppy even in the way I walk.) I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my brother Rooster, a flat-coat retriever, who also needs a home. We do not have to be adopted together. I am good with other dogs and a lovebug with people. I'm basically a happy boy who would love my own home where I can be walked, petted, taken on outings or road trips and given the love and attention I so deserve. I weigh about 50-55 lbs. I'm currently still in California, but can be transported to you in Oregon. Please email for an application.

HI - I'M COFFEE! I'm an 11-month-old male small black retriever mix puppy in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a scary California shelter along with my littermate Cream, who was adopted. I'm a small boy - about 30-40 lbs. I'm a little shy at first but with a few belly rubs and walks I'll warm up quickly. I'm good with other dogs and a lovebug! I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Oregon. Meet Bear! A purebred 5-year old black lab. He is sweet, energetic, and affectionate. He's full of love and enjoys playtime chasing a ball, swimming in the water, and spending quality time with people. He's healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, and has lots of love to give. He is loyal and eager to please, making him a wonderful companion for active families or individuals. He needs a home that can provide him attention and interaction very often. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I am unable to keep him and he needs a family or individual who can spend time with him. He just wants to be loved often. He does good with other animals (cats and dogs), but because he is not neutered he would probably do best with a female dog. He is amazing with kids and loves to be wherever they are. He is also kennel trained. He needs someone who can provide structure, love and plenty of exercise.

Story
He will be 4 years old on 01/18/2022. I am looking to rehome him due to ongoing behavioral issues. He struggles with severe anxiety and is currently taking fluoxetine. He is mostly up to date on his vaccinations, but is still due for Bordetella and Leptospirosis. He is reactive to both dogs and cats, so he needs to be the only pet in the home. I do not have children, so I’m unsure how he would behave around them. He has previously been in a fight with another dog and required surgery on one of his legs, so he is sensitive to touch in that area. He may occasionally have accidents in the house—I'm not sure what triggers it, but it does happen from time to time. He knows basic commands but tends to respond only when treats are involved. I love him deeply, but I believe rehoming him is in his best interest. I don’t have the time or, honestly, the patience necessary to continue working through his challenges, despite trying everything I could. Please feel free to reach out! Thank you!
