Story
Hello my name is Lewis I am a lab mix and I am around 5 years old and weigh about 75lbs. I do get along with other dogs but would most likely do well with a female dog. I can be overly friendly with them though. I'm not too sure if I would be the best with cats as I do chase them. I love all people and am just all around a nice guy. I like to do my own thing and play with my toys and just lounge around. I also like to go for walks but I have proved that I am a strong boy and am working on my leash manners. A fenced yard is a must for me as I love to be outside. If you are interested in meeting me please email to get an application. If you are interested in meeting Lewis we ask that you please email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an application. The adoption fee is $250.00, which includes neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming and vaccinations. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgMay 15, 2025, 6:51 am

Story
Meet Bella!  Almost 4-year-old Lab mix • Female • Smaller in size • Kennel trained • Great with kids Bella is a beautiful, bright, and loving girl who’s ready to find her forever home! She’s smaller in size for a Lab mix, but full of energy and personality. Bella is extremely smart and loves to learn new things. She enjoys playing ball, having space to run, and spending time with her favorite people — especially her kids. When playtime is done, she’s happy to relax and be part of the family. Bella is kennel trained and thrives on attention. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal companion who loves both playtime and family time, Bella would love to meet you! Story
Hi my name is Lucy I am a Labrador Retriever and am around 6 years old and weigh about 60lbs. I do get along with other male dogs but would prefer a dog that would just hangout with me and not invade my bubble. No cats or chickens as I like to chase them and It would not be good if I caught one. I love people and would most likely do good with kids but might accidentally knock them over. I am a very sweet girl but I have been known to be a bit of an escape artist and will need a fenced yard and will probably still need to be monitored while outside until you know I can't get out. I love food and going for walks and also love the water. I may be a bit older but I still have energy to burn but also need a couch to crash on when I’m tired, so if you are interested in adopting me please email for an application. If you are interested in meeting her we ask that you please email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an adoption application. Once you have an approved adoption application on file, we will then schedule a time for you to come and meet her. Her adoption fee will be $250.00 that will cover the cost of her spay her vaccinations, her being treated for fleas and worms and her microchip. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgMay 15, 2025, 6:28 am

Story
Sadie Mae is a beautiful girl who loves to snuggle with her humans, go for walks and play in the yard. She would be a great dog for the right human - one who can walk her, has a nice yard to play in and the time to play with her. But, she does not do well with other dogs, nor cats or other small animals. So, being an only child with boundaries where she can safely expend her energy would be the ideal spot for her. She is house and kennel trained but needs all of her shots and she needs spayed - all of those thing would be included in her $300 adoption donation. If you are interested in meeting her please fill out an application and once approved you would be able to meet her and see if she's the dog for you.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.May 16, 2025, 3:09 pm

Story
Koda is around 6-7months old. She weighs 25 lbs. but will get up to 50-60, I assume, since she’s a shepherd/lab mix. She’s current on vaccines. Rabies, too. She was adopted from the Oregon Humane Society. She is now being rehomed because she’s left alone for a large part of the day. No one has time to train her and she’s jumping on the kids. She’s a puppy but who could have seen any of this coming? Koda needs to find her furever home. Urgently. With people who have the time to spend with her that she requires. Also someone who understands what to expect from puppies and goes into the responsibility with a clear head. Someone who understands all of the needs of a dog and can handle the responsibilities of being a dog owner. Someone who will not abandon her when she becomes inconvenient. If this sounds like you and you’d like to give Koda her forever home, please fill out an application at sccpets.com. If approved,we’ll put you in touch with the owner so you can meet her. The cost of her spay is included in her adoption fee of $300. She’s a sweet dog that I’m sure was adopted with the best of intentions. Reality quickly intruded upon those intentions. As it does sometimes. It’s not her fault. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.June 11, 2025, 4:53 pm

Story
Griffin is a five- year- old lab/ husky mix. The blue eyes are a dead giveaway. He’s very obedient. The owner says Griffin shakes both paws. Will sit, lie down and won’t begin to eat til you tell him “okay”. He’s sweet, playful. A touch timid. Walks well on leash. Griffin was a non- certified service dog for his paraplegic owner til he died. He’s current on vaccines, including rabies. He’s also crate-trained. If you’re interested in meeting/adopting Griffin, please fill out an application at sccpets.com. If approved you will be put in touch with the owner. His adoption fee is $200.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.June 12, 2025, 5:03 am
