Story
We are seniors and adopted peanut and piglet ( daughter and mother) from a shelter near Chattanooga TN in 3/23 after our dog passed of old age and illness in 2/23. We had planned to adopt a poodle but she turned out to have serious biting issues. We love the girls but they were untrained and can’t deal with other dogs though they are good with our 5 year old granddaughter. We can’t train them we did get them vaccinated and spayed and microchipped

Story
Major is an incredibly sweet, playful, intelligent dog. He’s 1 1/2 years old. Loves people and other animals. He’s shy at first, but warms up quickly. He needs a good home where he will be loved and spoiled. He’s a comfort dog. He loves warm, comfy places to sleep, lounge and cuddle! He loves playing chase and tug of war with other dogs. Best guess is he’s a Basset, Beagle mix. Pictures should help. He’s a very handsome boy and deserves the best. He loves to run. He loves to go for walks. Loves treats! Knows how to sit. He will make an amazing addition to a loving family and he deserves to have that.

Story
My name is Copper Bleu! I'm an 8-year-old, beagle (DOB 09-04-2015) weighing in at 45 pounds and considered to be a bit overweight. Maybe we could start 2024 right by being healthy together? I'm a handsome beagle, if I do say so myself, with some beautiful brown eyes and a silly smile/or serious face that will melt your heart. I had a wonderful owner that asked Angels to help me find a new family due to my owner's declining health and financial hardship, it had nothing to do with me. It was very sad, but my foster family has taken great care of me.     Here's a little info: I know simple commands like sit and go outside. I'm pretty good on a leash even though my nose leads the way, I'm told that is the characteristic of a typical beagle. I enjoy roaming free in a fenced backyard, play with other dogs and love everyone I meet.    I am house-broken and crate trained (but not my favorite spot). I'm considered a "Velcro dog" who lives to be by your side. I would love for someone that is home a lot because I really need to know that everything is going to be ok. I'm not a fan of car rides, thunder or fireworks and take meds for anxiety when certain occasions arise. I'm honestly a homebody with my people and enjoy laying on the couch as close to my human(s) as possible. I'll even let you hold me like a baby to snuggle!    I truly love food, and treats are my favorite, next to getting all the attention. I am on a sensitive stomach, dog food and medication for hypothyroidism. I do bark when left alone, so apartment/townhomes/condos are probably not ideal for my forever home, most neighbors are not fans of my singing.     I would love to meet my new family soon - I've been waiting for you. If you would like to meet me, please submit an adoption application for me today! Story
Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read my bio! My name is Dale Junior! Yes, just like the race car driver! When I first came to my foster, I was not fast at all actually the complete opposite! I came in at 120 pounds and through diet and exercise, I am a new man at 62 pounds! I can be very silly with my foster brothers and sisters. I like to go on walks, play in the yard, or sometimes I want to hang out in my dog bed. I would like to have a family with another dog, preferably a female because I am quite a good boyfriend! I get along with all dogs. If I can fit into your family, I would love to meet you!     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Doxy is an eight year old, 17 pound, Beagle/Doxy mix. He was returned to AAU because his adopter was going into a senior living situation. He is a very sweet little dog. He does bark a lot, so he can not live in an apartment or condo. He is house trained, but he’s on Lasix (a fluid pill) for his heart condition. He can only be left for a few hours or so, depending on the time you gave the medication.    Speaking of his heart condition, Doxy does have rather advanced heart disease. He is on 2 other heart medications besides the Lasix. And I’ll add to his being left, that he has separation anxiety. He needs a home with another sweet dog. I would not crate him. I do have 2 personal dogs and I give them and Doxy the run of the house when I leave.    Doxy also has urinary crystals and must be on a special diet. Finally, he has Gallbladder disease for which he must take medication. Summing it up, he will be on a special diet and medication for the rest of his life. He would do best with a fenced yard because of his medication.   I know he sounds like a train wreck, but he’s a very good dog. He loves everyone and other dogs. He is not a fan of cats. Doxy is very attached to his people and smart! He picked up our routine quickly. He enjoys watching TV on the sofa.    Doxy is also a good watch dog. He spends much of his day “lounging”. He loves, loves, loves his evening leash walks. Honestly, you would never know he had any health issues when you meet him. I am retired and have a busy life. Doxy’s health issues have not interfered with my lifestyle. He has only added love to our household!
