Daisy Mae-Foxhound female puppy, DOB 12-20-25 (Sept. 2026) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Daisy Mae came to the Rescue through the Prison Training Program. She is an owner surrender to the Program when the prior owner, a Breeder, would not sell her or her littermates. She's a 9 mo. Old puppy, looking for her first family. She weighs 39# at this time. At the Prison Program, she is learning...Has started the following and this will be her first week here Obedience Manners Self-control Husbandry skills Crate skills Socialization with lots of dogs and people Grooming Skills Temperament assessment was excellent. Great with dogs and everyone she has met so far. No resource guarding of toys, food, treats, bedding, crate or her trainer. Because she's not lived with cats or children, we do not have an assessment on them at this time. Daisy Mae's adoption fee is $450 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Porter-Foxhound X male, DOB 10-10-25 (Sept. 2026) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Porter came to the Rescue through the Prison Training Program. He is an owner surrender to the Program when the prior owner abandoned this young fellow in a high kill rural shelter. He's a 12-mo. old puppy, looking for his first family that will love, care for him and appreciate what a special dog he is. In his 1st week at the Prison Program, he is learning: Obedience Manners Self-control Husbandry skills Crate skills Socialization with lots of dogs and people Grooming Skills Temperament assessment was excellent. He's a little timid with new people, but this is a big change in his life, lots of new people and experiences. Great with dogs and everyone he has met so far. They feel Porter came from a situation with a lot of dogs and he understands 'dog language' very well. No resource guarding of toys, food, treats, bedding, crate or his trainer. Because he's not lived with cats or children, we do not have an assessment on them at this time. Porter's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Elvie-Foxhound mix female, Tri-colored, DOB 9-27-25 Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Elvie came to Rescue when found as a stray, abandon in a barn. She was taken into a Prison Training Program a couple weeks ago. The Prison Program does not have the ability to test her with cats or kids, so those are an unknown. She will be tested once she's out of the Program. The Inmate Trainer said that she's a very loving dog, great personality. Happy to meet new people and the other dogs in the Program. Elvie's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
