Story
Meet Geoffrey, ❤️ a nearly 1-year-old Foxhound mix with a gorgeous face and sweet eyes. This charming pup is amazing with other dogs, good with chickens and cats, and adores kids. Geoffrey is extremely calm, house-trained, and loves carrying his favorite toys around. While he may need a bit more practice on a leash and in a car, he's fine at daycare and is nondestructive. The only requirement is that he has another dog to show him the ropes. Geoffrey is super low maintenance, capturing the hearts of everyone he meets with his friendly nature. He enjoys making friends with new dogs and puppies, loves to play, and can't resist a good belly rub! Consider bringing this lovable companion into your home. Story
Meet Henry, 💙 this beautiful boy made it to us by a twist of fate. His brothers and family were rescued over a year ago, but he was left behind. He was being fed by a homeowner in rural Alabama, but unfortunately, the man died recently, which made good Samaritans able to get him and bring him to us. His four brothers, were adopted out over a year ago. In the few weeks that we have had Henry he has truly blossomed. He has been less shy of hands, touches and pets and follows you around closely. He was neutered, and by a miracle, heartworm negative, completely up-to-date and on preventative. He loves to play and needs another dog to show him the ropes and could give him confidence. He’s extremely playful, submissive, and sweet. Henry is ready to be in a home where he has loved unconditionally, and will become man’s best friend! Story
Barney is an affectionate, sweet boy. Probably not a year old and loves to play. He has that wonderful hound voice but he's not obsessive with it. He does well with other dogs, he's not familiar with cats but plays to hard with chickens. He's very smart and has learned a few basic commands. He would be a loyal companion for a little love. For more information on Barney and our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry or call Jacki at 941-587-4612.  April 26, 2024, 9:56 pm

Story
Hi all, I'm Franky! I'm still getting used to having a name, since not long ago I was only seen as a number. I lived my whole life being used for toxicity tests and living without the comfort of a warm bed. Luckily BFP came, and now I'm part of the Freedom Fields family! Due to my past, I am shy and still nervous around people. I am looking for a family that is kind and patient with me as I learn to trust and how to be a dog. I'd also prefer to have a friend in my home that can help teach me. I can't wait to experience my new life with my forever family! If you are interested in adopting me , please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org. Location: SAN ANTONIO, TX

Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meet Bluebelle!  We were contacted about this poor 7 year old girl whose owner could not/would not properly care for her. This sweet senior girl is ready to let her light shine and find the home she so desperately wants and deserves. Bluebelle gets along great with children, and has done well with her caretaker's boxer. She knows basic commands such as sit, and give paw. She walks well on a leash and listens well. She is a very loyal dog, who loves her people, and anyone she meets. She does have a history of roaming so she will need a home where she can be appropriately confined in a fenced yard where she is not left alone long enough to get bored and curious.  Meetings with her can be arranged with approved adopters. She would love to meet you!  For more info please email foreverloverescue@gmail.com - Let's find Bluebelle the home she deserves!!!  Apply to adopt at https://foreverloverescue.com/dog-adoptionfoster-application/Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. Be sure to check us out on Facebook at  bit.ly/KittyCornerFB and "LIKE" our page and share our posts! SAVING ONE CAT MAY NOT CHANGE THE WORLD...BUT FOR THAT ONE CAT, THE WORLD CHANGES FOREVER!  April 21, 2024, 6:44 pm
