Story
We unfortunately have to rehome Myla due to an upcoming move. She is a 2 year old Healthy American Foxhound mix, spayed, upto date on shots and will go home with every thing she needs: kennel, leash, harness, collar etc. and a few other items. She is a very loyal and loving pup who needs a bit of extra attention around other dogs as she can get aggressive especially with food involved. She gets along with my male husky so willing to see if she would with another dog. 100 rehome fee so she finds a good home. Contact me if you have any questions or want to meet her! :) Not actually asking for fee 100 Petco gift card for her new family.

Story
I got Grace from a foster family about 8 years ago. She is about 12/13. They found her on the side of the road in Richmond. She is a very loving dog. She has never be aggressive and she is not reactive to anything. We have lived with cats and other dogs. I take her to dog parks, the river, car rides, and we walk with several other dogs. I have taken her to Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and the beach. She is well behaved inside, fine with baths, nail trim, and is fine with the vet. She has arthritis in one leg. She isn’t on medication except for the usual heart worm and tick/flea. Grace is fine to live with other pets. I think she would love a back yard or a fenced in porch. I love Grace so much but I have to move out of state and then I will be moving out of the country.

Story
Sam is another refugee from the Duplin County shelter in NC. And like most rescues, he seems very grateful to have another chance at life! Sam's foster and transporter both referred to him as a "sweetheart dog" for obvious reasons! He is very gentle and loving and seems eager to please his humans. He gets along great with other dogs (as long as they are not "toy" breeds because of his size). Sam is only one year old, 53 pounds, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and will be neutered and microchipped as soon as possible. Sam will be a perfect candidate for obedience training because he's very smart and receptive to guidance. His primary breed is American Foxhound but he probably has some Walker Hound in his DNA as well. But he has all the traits to make him a wonderful companion and family dog! He travels well in a vehicle and is good in a crate. He will let you know if he has to go outside. Sam just wants to be loved and he will return that love many times over! If you are looking for a good and loyal friend, then please consider Sam. He will not disappoint! Please email adoptionsecondchance@gmail.com for more information or adoption application. You can also download an adoption application from the website secondchancehabitat.org.
