Story
Darling Daisy is a charming and affectionate two-year-old pup who will bring joy to any family. She weighs about 24 pounds and is believed to be a French Bulldog / Pug mix. Rescued from the countryside after being dumped with three other dogs, Sophie, Donny and Danny. We believe that the pups are hers from different litters. Daisy shows a loving nature and enjoys human company. She gets along well with other dogs and is adapting to her new routine, including house training and leash walking. Daisy is learning to use the doggie door and responds to commands like “go potty.” She is scheduled to be spayed but is currently microchipped and vaccinated, ready to find her forever home. Potential adopters should have breed experience and be prepared to continue her training. Daisy is sure to be a delightful addition to the right family! Special Sophie will delight you with her presence. This sweet girl was dumped with 3 other dogs out in the country. We believe Daisy is her mother (French Bull Dog / Pug Mix) and Danny & Donny are her brothers from another litter. Sophie is appx 4 ½ months old and weighs 22 pounds. We believe she is a French Bull Dog / Pug / Shepherd mix. She is a sweet and silly girl. She gets along well with other dogs. She is a happy puppy! She will need leash training when she is fully vaccinated. She will need more house training. She is getting into the routine of going out with the other dogs with the command “go potty”. Sophie is scheduled to be spayed but we are looking for her home now. She is microchipped and currently vaccinated. Can she join you on your next adventure? Sophie is the PERFECT girl for an active family. Come meet her and give this little girl a second chance at happiness! **Meet Donny & Danny – Gentle Souls Looking for Love!** Dapper Donny will dazzle you with his sweetness! He was dumped with 3 other dogs out in the country. We believe one is his mother Daisy a Frenchie/Pug mix and the other pups are siblings from two different litters. At about 1 year old and Weighing 16.8 pounds he is a Pug mix. Donny has a tan coat mostly smooth coat with some fluff around his neck and chest as well as his tail. It should be easy to care for. He’s a bit shy at first but enjoys human companionship and gets along well with other dogs. Donny is learning house and leash training, and he’s getting the hang of going out with the command “go potty” and using the doggie door. He’s scheduled to be neutered and is microchipped and vaccinated. Breed experience required. Donny is sure to bring joy and completeness to his new family! If you're looking for a pair of loving, slightly shy pups who will blossom in a caring home, consider Danny and Donny—they’re ready to become your new best friends! Story
WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi! I’m Mía! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I am a very pretty girl. HOW OLD ARE YOU? I was born on March 21, 2022! WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a French bulldog. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I weigh 24 pounds! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I am a blue merle, so my coat is swirl of grey and white! My beautiful hazel eyes are quite mesmerizing, but my main showstopper is my adorable floppy left ear! WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I love food and would eat anything I'm given. However, I have some allergies to chicken and other poultry products. My favorite treats are salmon bites my foster mom gives me! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am perky and energetic! I love to chew on my squeaky toys or be cuddled while getting a belly rub. I love love LOVE being with my humans! But my most favorite thing to do is steal toys and play catch me if you can! DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day is eat, play, sleep, cuddle on repeat! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? My favorite toys are the ones I steal from others! Especially the rubber spikey kong balls, squeaky toys, or the Benebones! DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I know "sit" so far! And I know to go to my crate when it's time to eat or sleep. WHAT SCARES YOU? I have a case of FOMO (fear of missing out) but that's about all so far. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? Yes, I've only met older kids so far (9+ years old). I like that they give me a lot of attention and love to play with me and my toys! DO YOU LIKE CATS? I haven't met a cat. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I like them a lot, big or small! Especially playing keep away with toys! It's my favorite game! Though since I can be a toy hog, slow introductions are important. IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I love to be with my humans getting attention or just cuddling on the couch. When it's warm out, I do love sunbathing! HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I’m an IVDD survivor! I have recovered amazingly from surgery and just have a little wobble when I walk. So I use soft stairs to go up and down the couch, and I avoid hard stairs. Did I mention I'm allergic to poultry? Typical Frenchie right? WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster mom, foster grandma, and five other dogs! There are two large Cane Corsos, two other frenchies (Peru and Billy), and something called a "chiwhatwhat.” I'm closest to my foster mom because she took such good care of me while I healed, but also because she's my snack supplier. Though, I have a little crush on Peru and like stealing his toys to make him chase me. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I hang in my x-pen area or an extra large crate. I have enough room to stretch my legs WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? Same as my hangout area. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I’m pretty great on leash and love going on walks and adventures! Though my walks aren't very long just yet since I'm slowly building up my muscles and stamina. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Well, I guess stealing toys is frowned upon by some when I get overzealous about it. So toys have been a slow introduction when in shared spaces. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I use a doggy door with confidence if I have access to it! Though if there's a potty pad in my x-pen, I'll use that too. DO YOU LIKE WATER? I LOVE to slurp it, not sure how I would feel about a splash pad on a hot day, but I’m willing to try it out when the weather warms up! No swimming pools for me. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? They make me feel safe and loved, and give me so many toys to play with! WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUED? Well, I was used for breeding, then given up when it took a toll on my body. The vet hospital that did my surgery contacted NorCal Bully Breed Rescue to help me find a loving home. Now that I’m all healed up, I am ready to spend the rest of my fabulous life being loved and cuddled and playing and going on walks. And did I mention love? I would LOVE to love you forever if you give me a chance! **MIA'S ADOPTION FEE IS $ 750.** If you are interested in adopting MIA, please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org For information on why our Bulldog fees are set as they are, please click on the following link: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=5004742079644959&id=333019703483910&mibextid=qC1gEa At this time, we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas (which means Sacramento County, parts of El Dorado County and parts of Placer County). Ophelia WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi! My name is Ophelia! Nice to meet you! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? Oh, I’m the most darling little girl! HOW OLD ARE YOU? I’m around four years old in early 2026. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I’m the most splendid blend of English and French bulldogs! Perfection! HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I’m around 40 pounds. WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I am a tri-color beauty with a dark and light brown coat with a smattering of white on my chest. I have the cutest seal paws too! WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I eat my kibble for meals and any and all treats that are offered. Oh, except green beans. Ewww, no thank you! I love a bit of pumpkin mixed into my food, though! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I’m very sweet and cuddly! I have yet to find a lap that I can resist cuddling up in! I’m a bit nervous in new environments or when I hear a loud noise, but will hopefully gain confidence the more I experience the security of being part of a loving family. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: I love hanging out on the couch with my foster parents and dog siblings, with the occasional zoomie break in the yard. If I have a toy to chew on, then it’s even better! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I have a rubber ball that my foster parents put treats in. That’s the most fun ever! DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I am great at “sit” and “lay down” when I’m in the house. I’m working on “stay” right now, along with working on doing all my tricks in different environments. I love treats, so maybe you and I can work on some new tricks? WHAT SCARES YOU? I am afraid of loud noises, especially when I’m outside the comfort of my foster home. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I haven’t been around any kids. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I do! HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I love dogs so much! I feel so much more relaxed when my foster dog siblings are around. I love cuddling and playing with them. IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I am happiest on the couch getting some pets and cuddling with my humans and/or another dog. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I’m healthy, but you have to keep an eye on my skin. Please make sure I’m getting regular baths and getting dried off thoroughly to avoid skin problems. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? We have a fun foster home with my foster mom and dad, some dog and cat siblings, and even chickens! My foster mom is my favorite because we spend a lot of time together and she’s helping me with facing my fear of loud noises. I am much happier when I have my foster dog siblings around. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I hang out in my crate snuggled up in my bed. That is my cozy safe space! WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep either in my crate or on the couch. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? That’s not my favorite thing to do, especially if I don’t have my dog friends with me to help with my confidence. I do alright, but get scared if a loud car drives by. I’m working on being braver, though. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? I am perfect, obviously! But I do tend to get really excited and jump up on people. Foster mom is working with me on the jumping thing… I am just so happy to see everybody! ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I am! Just show me where to go and make sure I have access, and we’re all good! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I like standing in the little kiddy pool at my foster home, but baths aren’t my favorite. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? They are patient and helping me learn to be more confident when I’m nervous and shy. And they cuddle with me a lot and give me all the pets! IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER? I am so excited to find a family of my very own! I have so much fun and love to share. Will you take me home with you? OPHELIA’S ADOPTION FEE IS $500. If you are interested in adopting Ophelia, please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org At this time, we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas (which means Sacramento County, parts of El Dorado County and parts of Placer County).
