Story
Skye is an adorable 8-year-old black French Bulldog with a calm, loving personality. She has a mellow to moderate energy level, enjoys short walks, soft toys, gentle play, and spending most of her time relaxing near her humans. Her typical day includes a quick morning walk, breakfast, and plenty of cozy naps, followed by evening cuddles. Skye is mostly house-trained, fully crate-trained, and has no major health issues. She is not spayed and not currently up to date on vaccinations. She would thrive in a calm, indoor-focused home with people who can give her steady companionship and a predictable routine. I am rehoming her due to an upcoming move, and I want to ensure she finds a safe, loving, and stable home where she can enjoy her years comfortably.

This adult female Frenchie comes with more energy than a double espresso, and she’s proudly redefining what “small but mighty” really means. Five-mile walk? Pearl says, “Let’s make it ten.” She’s athletic, enthusiastic, and always ready for adventure — rain or shine, lap dog stereotypes be darned.     Pearl is extremely friendly and outgoing, greeting every human with a whole-body wiggle and every dog like a long-lost best friend. Off leash, she’s a social butterfly with impeccable manners and a heart of gold. On leash… well, she has some big feelings. She can get a little leash reactive, but in a fenced yard or open space, she relaxes and shines. For this reason, she’ll do much better in a suburban home with a secure fenced yard, where she can run, romp, and live her best zoomie-filled life.     This girl is equal parts charm, comedy, and courage. If you’ve been dreaming of a fun, energetic companion who will brighten your days, tire out your sneakers, and love absolutely everyone she meets, Pearl may be your perfect match. Apply today and come meet her — she’s ready to trot her way right into your heart!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Meet Rocco! Rocco is a Frenchie of substantial girth and even more substantial vibes. This hefty little gentleman is looking for a family to call his own - preferably one with a sense of humor and a mop! Rocco is the easiest, happiest old man you’ll ever meet… except that he sometimes struggles with his indoor plumbing situation. He’s freshly neutered (so we’re hoping that helps!), but for now, let’s just say the belly band is more of a suggestion than a rule. Houdini himself would be impressed by Rocco’s escape artistry and possible involvement in the dark arts. As for his personality? A+ character: - Zoomies after baths (approximately 1.5 MPH). - Unintentionally deaf and occasionally “selectively blind.” - Will walk into walls, doors, or just wander off dramatically. - Refuses to use stairs, prefers to be carted around like he’s room service. - Enjoys car rides, naps in sunny spots, slow (very slow) strolls, and the concept of snacks. - Believes in doing absolutely nothing, beautifully. His laws are simple: 1. Don’t separate him from his dog friends. 2. Don’t expect him to keep his belly band on. Comfy beds are also a must, though sometimes he only makes it halfway in. Rocco is a “whatever” kinda guy ~ happy to live life one slow, wobbly hop at a time, as long as he's with you. While his normal speed is 1MPH, he will speed up to 1.5MPH if he loses sight of you, and will even trot up to you once he finally finds you again - which is his equivalent of breaking the sound barrier. He loves being near his human(s) as much as possible, so he's looking for a family of snugglers who will be home with him most of the time (and will let him out for frequent potty breaks to avoid accidents). If you’re looking for a high-loyalty, low-maintenance roommate with zero expectations (other than unconditional snacks and cuddles), Rocco’s your man. Rocco is approximately 10 years old and 33lbs. Fostered in Alexandria, VA Please apply at MirisHaven.org

Story
Bubba's adoption fee is waived for the month of August! Bubba is 12 years old and 26 lbs, but don’t let those numbers fool you. He is full of spunk and energy! Sadly, Bubba found himself at a rural shelter after his owner passed away and is looking for a loving home to ride out his senior years. Bubba loves to go on long walks and sniff every leaf and tree he can. His new year's resolution is to lose some weight to be ready to hit the beach in the summer, so the more walks the better. He walks well on a leash and is house broken. He appears to be a bit hard of hearing, which means you can grind those coffee beans early in the morning without worrying about waking him up. At home, he loves to stare out the window and watch people and animals wander about. He will let you know when he sees something interesting! Bubba loves cuddling on the couch, chewing on bones, playing tug-o-war, and giving everyone kisses. He is super friendly and loves to just be in the same room as you while you do your thing. Interested in learning more about Bubba? Apply at www.novapetsalive.org/adopt. *Bubba is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, was given dewormer and monthly preventatives, and is microchipped.

Story
Lester’s Looking for Love Divo male seeking his Willing Worshipper Hey ladies, Lester here — 3 years young, Frenchie, fun-sized, and full of personality (some might say too much, but that’s just jealousy). I’m a bit of a divo — dramatic, handsome, and totally worth it. Let’s get this straight: I’m not here for games or a casual fling. I’m looking for my forever woman — someone strong, confident, and ready to handle all this rambunctious Frenchie energy. Think Empress energy, a woman who knows her worth and isn't afraid to handle a man with BIG personality. If you’ve got that “main character” vibe, we might be a match. Now, I’m a one-woman man. That means no other dogs, no cats, no competition. Period. I want to be the only man in your life. You can keep your fish and plants — I’m secure enough for that — but I want your heart, your lap, and all your attention. I’ll admit, I’m not for the faint of heart. I’m bold, loyal, dramatic, and love to be in the limelight. But if you can handle my big personality (in a small, snorty package), I’ll love you harder than anyone ever has. So, if you’re ready for laughter, loyalty, and a lifetime of snorts and zoomies, pick me — Lester, your next great love story. Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.

Story
Shelby, 4, is as sweet as they come. She follows her owner around like she is their shadow. She loves snuggles, meeting new people, kids, walks to the park, long cozy couch naps, and being in water. She was originally used as a breeding mama, until her current owner adopted her 2 years ago. Now Shelby is spayed and enjoying a comfortable retirement. While Shelby isn't very interested in toys, she can get the zoomies and is playful with her humans- running around the room and jumping back and forth. Shelby was bullied by bigger dogs in the past, so she would do best in a household as the only dog, or potentially with one other, smaller dog. Shelby needs a home where she is cared for and treated like the angel she is. While she is healthy, her new owners need to understand and prepare for the ongoing costs that come with caring for her breed (dental, allergies, etc). She will light up anyone's life with her joy, love, companionship, snuggles, and snorts!

Story
Gremmy found herself at a high kill shelter where she was scared to death and just shaked in her run. We got a phone call to see if we could help her get out of there. Of course we went and got her. Gremmy looks to be part Boston Terrier and Shih Tzu. She has the body of the Boston and the coat of a Shih Tzu. She would be best suited in a home without another dog as she is not a fan. She has been fine with the foster mums cats, will want to chase if they run but has never hurt them. When we first got her she was a bit scared going out on a leash, now she is fine. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to us. If you are interested in this pretty girl please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com so we can send you an application. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $600 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.

Story
Meet Otis – The Gentleman with the Biggest Heart  At 2 ½ years old and 27 pounds, Otis is the perfect little package of love. This Boston Terrier mix (with maybe a dash of Min Pin magic!) is as charming as they come. Sadly, Otis lost his beloved human, and his tender heart has been looking for someone new to love ever since.  Otis is the definition of a loyal friend—he adores people and is wonderful with other dogs. With his playful spirit and affectionate personality, he’ll happily bring joy to any home. The only thing he asks is a cat-free environment, since our feline friends aren’t his cup of tea. Healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative, Otis is ready to start fresh. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for his person, the one who will give him the love and stability he deserves.  If you’re searching for a best friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Otis is your boy. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#156&#168 Could Otis be the missing piece of your heart?   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 28, 2025, 8:49 am

Story
** Current location: at a private shelter in South Korea ** Meet Moana👋🏻 She was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea in 2022. She ended up at a high-kill shelter but was thankfully rescued just in time. Since then, she’s been living in a private shelter with many other dogs, charming everyone with her affectionate personality. Now, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! • Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Goofy Moana is truly one of a kind. She quickly won the hearts of volunteers with her gentle, loving nature. She follows people around like a little shadow, happily greeting everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and affection. Moana thrives on human interaction and loves tug-of-war, belly rubs, and being the center of attention. Her energy level is moderate, making her a great balance of playful and calm. • Affinity with - Dogs: Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with dogs, too. She’s often the first to welcome new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel safe and at ease. While she would thrive as the only dog in the home, Moana also does best with calm dog companions. - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids, but based on her gentle demeanor, we believe she’d do well with respectful children. • Walking Manners: Moana has also started practicing her leash skills and is doing great! She may pull a little at times, but overall, she walks well and is eager to please. • Housetrained: As she’s lived in a shelter, Moana will need some house-training in a home setting. • Bathing/Brushing: She’s tolerant of baths and grooming. • Car Sickness: She’s curious and alert during car rides, taking in the world around her. • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Very quiet • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 5 • Likes/Dislikes: She loves affection & treats! • Health: Moana finished her heartworm treatment in Oct 2024 and is in great health. She underwent successful surgery for an inguinal hernia in Mar 2025 and has fully recovered. She has a clean bill of health and is ready for her new adventure! (Her two front bottom teeth are missing)
