WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care. Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. A family that has the time to help her continue learning new skills and take her on many adventures. She truly wants to please and will reward you with affection, laughs, and endless companionship. She loves being with her people and makes a perfect couch buddy . She can happily entertain herself by tossing her ball in the air, and her LOUD, snorty grunts are absolutely hysterical. One look into her big, soulful eyes and youll fall in love instantly.WHY DID THEY COME TO WISE: Lovey Dovey spent her entire life as a breeding dog in a puppy mill. When her 'breeders' decided they no longer had a use for her, they planned to discard her. Thankfully, WISE was able to step in and rescue her giving her a second chance to experience the love and warmth of a real home. Meet Chelsea. Chelsea is a 3yr old Frenchie weighing 34 lbs. She came to us from a commercial breeding kennel. She has the Frenchie personality!! She is interested in all the things and loves to be involved. Chelsea has done well with her foster sister (dog). She loves to chew on bones and shares them with her foster mom. Chelsea would do best with children over 5 as she likes to take small toys left on the floor. She does well in her crate while her foster mom is at work and continues to work on potty training. Chelsea is currently in a home that has a fenced yard as Chelsea does walk on a leash but prefers not to. She will just sit down while you are walking so you would have to be strong enough to pick her up especially if you don't have a fenced-in yard. She was bred three times which is three times too many. Lala is so sweet and loving, she craves the attention she never got and wants to sleep with you, near you or physically on top of you!!! She came from a home with a not so nice male human so she will have to go into an all female low-key home without a lot of visitors or commotion. Lala has a snore that rivals someone with sleep apnea. You can hear her from rooms away. It is so cute so hopefully you can sleep through her snoring. She was extremely skinny and emaciated when we got her. She has slowly been gaining weight which has helped her confidence and not feeling like she isn't going to get fed. She has been at the vet for typical Frenchie skin issues. Lala loves to run around the backyard sniffing and investigating everything around. Lala could live by herself or with a low-key dog her size or smaller. She deserves a loving home where she can get a lot of love and attention.
