You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application Porky is about a 1 year.  He is very active and playful.  He has lots of energy but does listen if given structure.  He loves outside and loves other dogs. He gets a little fence aggressive with strangers that come near the property but its only at the fence line. Have to watch him with play time and he doesnt stop and his breed can overheat.  Very active, loves people, a little crazy so we dont recommend a kid household. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 12, 2026, 2:40 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application Cannoli is about 7 years old.  She is a very good dog that we can manage wonderfully in an adult home. She eats separately in a crate because she gets crazy with her food. She can eat with other dogs we just have many in foster so it’s easiest to let her eat separate. We don't recommend a kid household as she is toy obsessed. She is great with other dogs but a ball she will play with outside all day. You have to watch she doesnt overheat because she does not know when to stop playing. She runs stiffly with her back legs. The shelter did some vetting said if could be a disc. It doesn’t affect her in any way but like most Frenchie sometimes they get IVDD. She is stubborn but she does follow correction well. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 12, 2026, 2:40 pm

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Calling all singles, Major Perfect is ready to mingle! My name is Major Perfect, and I'm a handsome 20-pound guy who's around 4 years old. I'm looking for my forever personsomeone who wants a loyal best friend, walking buddy, couch companion, and all-around sidekick. I'll be honest right up front: I'm the jealous type. Other dogs? Not really my thing. I don't mind walking past them on my daily adventures, but let's keep it movingI'm not interested in stopping for a meet-and-greet. I'd much rather have all your attention to myself. Because of this, I need to be the only dog in the home, or with an adopter who has experience managing dog-aggressive dogs and understands my boundaries. Now that we've got that out of the way, let me tell you why I'm such a catch. I absolutely adore people and am happiest when I'm spending time with my humans. I'm house-trained, know my basic commands, and have all the qualities of an ideal roommate. No drama, no late rent paymentsjust unconditional love and plenty of companionship. My story started when I came to rescue as a finder surrender. After 30 days of searching, my owner was never found, so now I'm ready for a fresh start and a family to call my own. If you're looking for a one-and-only kind of relationship, I might be your perfect match. I'm loyal, affectionate, and ready to be your ride-or-die through life's adventures. So what do you say? Let's take the best walk of our lives together Interested in becoming a forever home for Major? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
She's such sweet and easy dog. I got her from a breeder at 3 months and she's lived a very privileged and safe life, you can tell by how she thinks everything and everyone is a friend and will love her. She's house trained, crate trained and know a lot of tricks and obedience. As a typical frenchie she can be a little stubborn so she might need to see the reward to pullout her best tricks.. She's also a realy city dog, not scared of any loud sounds and loves the subway and very used to flying and going to stores and restaurants. She's the perfect little companion who will happily go with you anywhere! She dosen't have any of the frenchie health issues you hear about, very healthy and happy. She loves to play and go to the dog park, but also sleeps a lot when nothing is happening.

Story
Playful, confident Bella is a 25 lbs, 3-year-old, female French Bulldog looking for a home with a family prepared for a dog with a lot of personality! She is lovingly referred to as a cuddly little bulldozer. She has the exact personality you would expect of the bulldog breeds; she can be headstrong and stubborn when she wants, but she is always full of love, ready for cuddles, and even more ready to play. If you are unfamilar with the needs of this breed, please do your research to make sure they are a good match for your home. Bella prefers to use the bathroom outside, but she does struggle in the extreme summer heat. So frequent, short walks are best for her. She reliably uses pee pads when they are available, and she does not have accidents indoors when she has access to them. Bella is crate/pen trained and has no problem being home alone, typically spending her time sleeping. At night, she will curl up on her dog bed on the floor next to you and sleep peacefully. Bella loves to sniff EVERYTHING on walks, to the point that she will ignore everything else going on around her. She does not react to other people or animals when she’s out and about. She doesn’t love the car but is doing better with every trip she takes. She is always keen to go on an adventure, as long as she can be by your side; nothing really phases her.  As with many bulldog breeds, Bella is confident, full of energy, and she sometimes does not know her own strength. She would do best in a home committed to continuing her positive training. She is not a fussy eater and is food motivated enough to make training easy and fun for her. Bella loves fluffy toys, but she will destroy them, but thankfully, that’s all she destroys. She also likes harder rubber toys that can handle her style of play. She can be mouthy when she plays, so children should be made aware that she may nip at fingertips if they are playing. An inexperienced owner may see this as “aggression”, but that is definitely not her intent. Therefore, she would do well with a family that knows how to gently redirect her and show her a more appropriate way of playing. Bella was given to her owner after a family member allowed their two dogs to breed. Because French Bulldogs are already very inbred, Bella has the typical compounded health issues the breed suffers from. Bella’s tail grew in a corkscrew shape, meaning it is growing into her body and causing her a great deal of pain. It will unfortunately have to be amputated so she can be comfortable, and she will have that surgery in the near future. As is often the case with French Bulldogs, Bella also has breathing issues due to Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS), which is caused by her unnecessarily short snout. She may need corrective surgery in the future. Until then, her owners must be careful to keep her out of the heat, give frequent breaks when exercising, always give her access to drinking water, and walk her with a harness, never a collar. Bella has never lived with other dogs, cats, or children. Because she is undersocialized and has had no training for the first three years of her life, she will need a home that understands the importance of proper introductions. She tends to charge in head first and does not understand why other animals may not like that. She would do better with older children who can help with training.  If you think you can give Bella all the love she deserves and would like to meet her, please go to Petstablished.com or follow the link below to complete an application to adopt. All of our animals are in foster homes. For the sake of our animals and foster families, you must have an approved application with references before you can meet them.  http://shelterchic.org/adopt/ In order to receive a speedy response to any inquiry, please email us directly at Info@ShelterChic.org or check out our website ShelterChic.org where you will find the answer to most questions about our adoption process and fees. Story
Benoit (born: 12/12/2022), weighs 25 pounds and is a young French Bulldog who knows how to sit, loves to run and play, has fun with his toys and enjoys having a treat. Born with a congenital eye issue, Benoit had to have surgery to remove his right eye when he was just 10 weeks old and he continues to have follow-ups with an ophthalmologist for his left eye, which has limited vision, for life. Benoit also developed a head tilt and the neurologist diagnosed him with Hydrocephalus and prescribed Omeprazole – which is a medication he will have to take for life. Benoit continues to see a Neurologist every 6 months – his last visit, the Neurologist requested Benoit see a specialty surgeon for further evaluation. Benoit was weaned off steroids, a cat scan and surgery were performed and Benoit is still taking antibiotics and he is doing well. Benoit is a French Bulldog that will need to be checked by a neurologist and an ophthalmologist for the rest of his life. We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home.
