Story
This beautiful girl is five year old Lala. She was rescued from a backyard breeding situation. She was bred three times which is three times too many. Her last litter included the other two Frenchies we have, Loki and Scarlett. Lala is so sweet and loving, she craves the attention she never got and wants to sleep with you, near you or physically on top of you!!! Lala has a snore that rivals someone with sleep apnea. You can hear her from rooms away. It is so cute so hopefully you can sleep through her snoring. She was extremely skinny and emaciated when we got her. She has slowly been gaining weight which has helped her confidence and not feeling like she isn't going to get fed. Lala loves to run around the backyard sniffing and investigating everything around. Although Lala lives with other dogs including her puppies, we believe she would be best as an only dog. She deserves to be the princess in her family. If you are interested in Lala, please go to bfdaaa.com to complete an application. September 21, 2025, 12:15 pm

Story
Escher came to Cameron Animal Rescue after she was given up by a breeder who no longer wanted her. She is sweet, affectionate girl who loves people, and she is looking for her forever home. We don't know what Escher's life was like prior to arrival, but this sweet girl has adjusted wonderfully. Escher loves to play with toys and chase balls in the back yard. And she loves going on long walks- she is wonderful on the leash. She has shown a propensity for climbing (a 5 ft fence!), so she should not be left alone in a backyard. Escher has shown too much interested in chasing cats, and although she is good with some dogs, she is reactive toward otheres. Therefore we think that she should be an only pet. On the other hand, Escher has been wonderful with all of the people that she has met, including young children. Escher is working on house-training, and has been improving, but is not totally house-trained. Escher is approximately 3 years old, and she is healthy. Her adoption fee includes her spay; a full series of 3 DHLPPi (distemper) vaccines, as well as Rabies and Bordetella vaccines; testing for heartworm and tick-bourne diseases; fecal testing and deworming; microchip; 30 days of free pet insurance. Although Escher is healthy at this time, french bulldogs are at great risk of significant medical issues. Therefore we are looking for an adopter with an extensive prior veterinary history. Please note that priority will be given to adopters from Northern NJ/NYC area, however out of state adopters will be considered. Please read the requirements that Escher be a single pet, and that a veterinary history is required. If you have the perfect home for this wonderful girl, please email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information.

Story
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 at Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge, NJ from 11am - 3pm! Meet Speck! Speck is a 7-year-old, 37 pound Frenchie who loves snuggles, massages and following you around the house. Speck has been such a fast learner - he's picking up on housebreaking amazingly quickly and learning to do steps for the first time! Speck has loved on everyone he has met so far, and he's just an adorable little mush! He has listened when told to stop eating something he shouldn't and is treat motivated. Some of Speck's favorite things have been pulling his kitty sibling's tunnels around by their puffball string and running around in the backyard. If you're looking for a love bug that just wants snuggles, Speck might be your perfect match! Speck is currently being fostered in Huntington Station, NY, and his adoption fee is $600. Speck is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Fishy Longbottom! Introducing Fishy Longbottom, a charming French Bulldog who’s as sweet and snuggly as his name is unique! This 2–3-year-old, 20-pound bundle of joy has a heart full of love and a playful spirit that’s impossible to resist. Fishy is a cuddle champion — his favorite place is right by your side (or in your lap if you’ll let him!). When he’s not soaking up attention, he loves playing with toys and rolling around happily in his dog bed. He loves car rides, too! He’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a perfect fit for just about any household. Fishy walks nicely on a leash and is both house and crate trained, so he’s ready to fit right into your routine. Fishy is also a special needs pup. His vet suspects he may have a form of megaesophagus, though it hasn’t been officially confirmed. The good news? He’s doing wonderfully on his current medications and is living his best, happy life! He came to us as an owner surrender due to his owners not being able to handle his condition. If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate, and resilient little dog who will fill your home with joy (and cuddles), Fishy Longbottom is your guy! Interested in becoming a forever home for Fishy? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $850. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Calling all singles - ready to mingle! I'm Major Payne, a good boy who is looking for love - and I mean from you, my one and only. Sure, I can be a bit of a player, but I promise I'm worth it. You see, I'm not really a fan of other pups - I'm a jealous guy and like to have all your attention to myself. I'd much rather be the star of your show than share the spotlight with another four-legged friend. But, if you're looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin, I'm your guy. I'm house-trained and have learned all the basic commands, so I'm basically an ideal roommate. So, if you're looking for a furry friend who is going to be your ride-or-die, I'm Major Payne, and I'm ready to take you out for the best walk of your life! Major Payne is about 20 pounds and we think he is around 4 years old. He came to us as an finder surrender after 30 days of not being able to find his owner. I don't mind walking past other dogs, but don't let me stop to chit chat. Interested in becoming a forever home for Major Payne? Story
** Current location: at a private shelter in South Korea ** Meet Moana👋🏻 She was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea in 2022. She ended up at a high-kill shelter but was thankfully rescued just in time. Since then, she’s been living in a private shelter with many other dogs, charming everyone with her affectionate personality. Now, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! • Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Goofy Moana is truly one of a kind. She quickly won the hearts of volunteers with her gentle, loving nature. She follows people around like a little shadow, happily greeting everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and affection. Moana thrives on human interaction and loves tug-of-war, belly rubs, and being the center of attention. Her energy level is moderate, making her a great balance of playful and calm. • Affinity with - Dogs: Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with dogs, too. She’s often the first to welcome new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel safe and at ease. While she would thrive as the only dog in the home, Moana also does best with calm dog companions. - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids, but based on her gentle demeanor, we believe she’d do well with respectful children. • Walking Manners: Moana has also started practicing her leash skills and is doing great! She may pull a little at times, but overall, she walks well and is eager to please. • Housetrained: As she’s lived in a shelter, Moana will need some house-training in a home setting. • Bathing/Brushing: She’s tolerant of baths and grooming. • Car Sickness: She’s curious and alert during car rides, taking in the world around her. • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Very quiet • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 5 • Likes/Dislikes: She loves affection & treats! • Health: Moana finished her heartworm treatment in Oct 2024 and is in great health. She underwent successful surgery for an inguinal hernia in Mar 2025 and has fully recovered. She has a clean bill of health and is ready for her new adventure! (Her two front bottom teeth are missing)
