Story
Welcome sweet Collette!  A couple of weeks ago, we welcomed Collette into the rescue after she was released from a Lancaster puppy mill — no longer “useful” to them. This 4-year-old French Bulldog is now getting her very first taste of freedom, kindness, and love. Collette came to us shy and unsure, but she’s quickly learning that gentle hands and soft voices can be trusted. She’s starting to enjoy belly rubs, sunny spots in the yard, and the company of her two foster dog friends. She’s working on her housebreaking (something that takes a little extra time for our mill moms who were never taught where to go) and every day she grows a bit braver. Collette will be spayed in the coming weeks and then will be ready to find a forever family who will show her what unconditional love truly feels like. If you’d like to open your heart and home to this sweet girl, please visit www.outcastrescue.com  to submit an adoption application. You must be over 21 and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA. PA Kennel License 16187November 2, 2025, 10:02 am

Story
This beautiful girl is five year old Lala. She was rescued from a backyard breeding situation. She was bred three times which is three times too many. Her last litter included the other two Frenchies we have, Loki and Scarlett. Lala is so sweet and loving, she craves the attention she never got and wants to sleep with you, near you or physically on top of you!!! Lala has a snore that rivals someone with sleep apnea. You can hear her from rooms away. It is so cute so hopefully you can sleep through her snoring. She was extremely skinny and emaciated when we got her. She has slowly been gaining weight which has helped her confidence and not feeling like she isn't going to get fed. Lala loves to run around the backyard sniffing and investigating everything around. Although Lala lives with other dogs including her puppies, we believe she would be best as an only dog. She deserves to be the princess in her family. If you are interested in Lala, please go to bfdaaa.com to complete an application. September 21, 2025, 12:15 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application Cannoli is about 6 years old . She is a very good dog that we can manage wonderfully. She eats separately in a crate because she gets crazy with her food. But she can eat with other dogs we just have many in foster so it’s easiest to let her eat in a crate. She is very into toys and it’s hard to get one out of her mouth . Adults can do it no problem but I wouldn’t recommend kids in the home cause when she is trying to get it back she may get your hand instead of the toy back . She is great with other dogs and runs around with them but mostly toy obsessed. A ball she will play with outside all day, you gotta get her in or she could over heat cause she won’t stop unless you make her . She runs stiffly with her back legs . The shelter did some vetting said if could be a disc.  it doesn’t affect her in any way but like most Frenchie almost always have some medical so not sure If that would be something down the road .  She is stubborn but she does follow correction well . Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 3, 2025, 10:34 am

Story
Meet Otis, the most adorable French bulldog and Miniature Pinscher mixed pup! Otis is 1 year and 8 months old. He is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for a forever home. His special superpower is his ability to always have his lips stuck on his teefs. Otis was surrendered to us because his humans did not have time for him. We were told that he consistently had accidents in the house and that he was alone most of the day. We could tell that he lacked obedience and did not know boundaries upon intake. His humans did love him, but they did not provide him with a routine or any mental and physical stimulation. He is now doing well with a consistent routine and learning to be a well-behaved pup. His foster mom reports that Otis has not had any accidents in the house since he came. He is a medium sized dog, but he thinks that he is a tiny pup and insists on always getting in your lap. Otis is the epitome of a Velcro dog! He is very affectionate and would love to be with you all the time. Personal boundaries do not exist in his vocab. His favorite thing in the whole world must be chest and belly rubs because he can never get enough of it. Otis will sometimes throw tantrums when he is denied attention but can easily be distracted when you throw a toy for him to chase after. Speaking of toys, Otis LOVES chewing on all the toys. Durable chew toys are a must for this boy. He can be very energetic when playing tug or zooming around the house and yard--and because of this, we think the best environment for Otis is a home without young children. And although he will happily cuddle and snooze on the couch, Otis needs daily walks so that he can exercise his body as well as his brain. Otis is used to doing whatever he wants and will try and push his boundaries to see what he can get away with. However, he is a quick learner with high value food rewards. We are making strides with crate training and leash walking. Otis needs a home with a human that he can trust and depend on. His perfect human will understand that he has been neglected and will continue to help him heal by providing him with lots of love, a consistent routine, and be persistent with his obedience training. Story
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 at Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge, NJ from 11am - 3pm! Meet Speck! Speck is a 7-year-old, 37 pound Frenchie who loves snuggles, massages and following you around the house. Speck has been such a fast learner - he's picking up on housebreaking amazingly quickly and learning to do steps for the first time! Speck has loved on everyone he has met so far, and he's just an adorable little mush! He has listened when told to stop eating something he shouldn't and is treat motivated. Some of Speck's favorite things have been pulling his kitty sibling's tunnels around by their puffball string and running around in the backyard. If you're looking for a love bug that just wants snuggles, Speck might be your perfect match! Speck is currently being fostered in Huntington Station, NY, and his adoption fee is $600. Speck is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
