Chubbs is a lover not a fighter. He is a little tank of a dog but, wants to be friends with everything and everyone. He did live with another dog who was quite big at some point in his life. He loves cats although, sometimes they don’t love him. He’s met pigs, bunnies and birds and has zero prey drive. A dream of a dog! In his previous home, Chubbs lived with 4 kids who were all quite young. He enjoys watching kids play and will sit before inviting pets from a passerby. He knows his name, basic commands like “sit!” And “leave it” and Chubbs is a very quiet little guy! So far the only time he barked in foster care was when he saw a resident kid dressed up for Halloween (can we blame him?). Chubbs does not guard resources and has excellent kitchen manners. He does not beg even if a delicious hooman meal is being prepared and he often will just go find a place to nap if his people are home and he can relax. He has no destructive qualities except he tends to over-groom but a vet will be consulted before Chubbs goes to his forever home to see if this behavior may be ameliorated. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application Cannoli is about 6 years old . She is a very good dog that we can manage wonderfully. She eats separately in a crate because she gets crazy with her food. But she can eat with other dogs we just have many in foster so it’s easiest to let her eat in a crate. She is very into toys and it’s hard to get one out of her mouth . Adults can do it no problem but I wouldn’t recommend kids in the home cause when she is trying to get it back she may get your hand instead of the toy back . She is great with other dogs and runs around with them but mostly toy obsessed. A ball she will play with outside all day, you gotta get her in or she could over heat cause she won’t stop unless you make her . She runs stiffly with her back legs . The shelter did some vetting said if could be a disc. it doesn’t affect her in any way but like most Frenchie almost always have some medical so not sure If that would be something down the road . This beautiful girl is five year old Lala. She was rescued from a backyard breeding situation. She was bred three times which is three times too many. Her last litter included the other two Frenchies we have, Loki and Scarlett. Lala is so sweet and loving, she craves the attention she never got and wants to sleep with you, near you or physically on top of you!!! Lala has a snore that rivals someone with sleep apnea. You can hear her from rooms away. It is so cute so hopefully you can sleep through her snoring. She was extremely skinny and emaciated when we got her. She has slowly been gaining weight which has helped her confidence and not feeling like she isn't going to get fed. Lala loves to run around the backyard sniffing and investigating everything around. Although Lala lives with other dogs including her puppies, we believe she would be best as an only dog. She deserves to be the princess in her family.
